This vegetable bin is something a friend of mine picked up at a yard sale.
It started out with an outdated country style but
with a few new doors and some paint, it's now a modern-rustic piece!

Sweet Little Bench Makeover

Sometimes my friends want me to make them something and we work out a little trade.

That's exactly how I acquired this bench.

I made 2 small pallet signs for a friend and I got this bench to paint and sell.

So paint it, I did!

With a job making commercial signs during the day,

and then turning around making painted wooden signs when I get home,

I'm sometimes surprised I don't make signs in my sleep too!

Teal and Lime Green Dry Sink Makeover

This dry sink was nothing special. Just your standard assembly-required piece of furniture with a very dark finish. Because of it's original dark look, I planned on painting it white and distressing the edges. But things took a turn for the better. ( I think anyway!)

Wooden Bowl Display

I'm always picking up various odds and ends at the thrift store. One corner of my house is actually overrun by all the junk I find. I found this cheval mirror frame at an auction. There was no mirror in it when I bought it, unless one small shattered piece in the bottom corner counts. The frame itself was in good shape, so I snagged it up for a steal, just knowing it would be a great upcycle project!
