On Tuesday I found out that an albatross is a bird and not a fish.

The class chalet was super fun but it worn me out a lot. The overnight cycling was so awesome, we cycled from Changi Village to the Fullerton and back again. That sense of accomplishment is undeniable but so is the ache in our bodies, ha ha ha. I can't walk properly, sit properly nor lie properly. It's a pain, both literally and figuratively. I cabbed home yesterday and was unconscious for most of the day but my body is still aching! :(

Oh, and I almost knocked into a tree because it was too dark and I didn't have a lamp.

After denying and procrastinating, I'm finally struck with the realisation that the A' Levels are indeed starting tomorrow (for me). D: Good luck texts are aplenty now and I hope the papers would be all miraculously simple to do ha ha ha. :O

Today's weather was fantastic. My studying, however, wasn't.

The only good thing that happened this week is that Hamilton experienced a brake problem and retired from the Abu Dhabi GP while he was leading.

Today the brother and I were so bored that we hurled ice out of our window into the field below to see who can throw the farthest. Obviously, I won. Not. :(

My life is disgusting now. In a month's time, it will be better.

My life is extremely boring right now. It is two weeks or so to Doomsday but I'm in college instead of enjoying my study break.

Technically we graduated yesterday, and overall, the concert was rather bland and was nothing spectacular. Many photos were taken and since we have lessons for the entire week, I guess more would be taken. Hee hee.

I just received the funniest text that I've seen in a while! Suddenly I feel so much better. Laughter is the best medicine, ever. Anyway, there is no point typing it out unless you know who is the tutor involved and have read The Tempest.

Sometimes I hate my family. Just because you all are skinny and fit doesn't mean you can impose your bloody principles on me. I eat at night because I get hungry easily when I'm studying but I study best at night, not because I'm a glutton who finds enjoyment in gorging myself and expanding my stomach every five seconds. So, just STFU and GTFO because none of you know what is it like to study for a damned examination like the A' Levels.

Today was an eventful day. Our circuit board tripped umpteen times and after a gruelling afternoon, I realise that if I fail the A' Levels I could be an electrician.

Anyway, we found out that the refrigerator was the cause of the problem so it had to be switched off. I devoured all the ice-cream before it could melt and we filled at least 7 glasses with ice ha ha ha.

The subwoofer is probably one of the best inventions ever that augment our lives in that small but perfect way.

I seriously don't understand why Christians (namely the Protestants) like to emphasise on how people who are suffering "need the Lord" or anything along those lines. Let's take the recent natural disaster in the Philippines as an example. Why would God create a destruction and wreck the lives of countless people? If he's the one who created it in the first place, why would we even place our trust and faith in him? Why should we?

Button just won the F1 2009 championship with a race to spare. Poor Barrichello, I think he's a real sport. Ross Brawn looks like he's going to faint ha ha!

It's been a sensational season, I can't wait for next year's! It's a pity there's still a race to spare or else it'd be more exciting but oh well.

I knew that today was going to be a good day when the assembly music played Owl City this morning. :)

I ran my brand new hairbrush through my hair for the first time in maybe a month today. It felt surreal.

I never had the patience to comb nor brush my hair so when I lost my comb I just forwent brushing my hair entirely ha ha ha. Yes I survived, be jealous for I have awesome hair which is tangle-free and luxurious despite the lack of brushing.

So anyway, after sporting the coolly and artfully unkempt hairstyle of subtle messiness for a month, Mummy bought me a brush. Boo.

In case you think I'm unhygienic and disgusting, I'm not. I wash and condition my hair everyday, which is probably more than what you do.

(500) Days of Summer was amazing. Of course I do not say this merely because of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but also because it isn't your typical romance movie. I actually found it quite heart-breaking. Everybody should definitely watch it!

I loved what he wore in the movie; his wardrobe seems to consist mostly of skinny ties, sweater vests and really attractive bed hair. I've always thought that he was hot after seeing his GQ photo shoot with Claudia Schiffer but now I find him beyond that because he's adorable as a supposed nerd too hee hee hee.

Now, Surrogates is a movie I normally wouldn't watch. It looks intriguing, but I've never had a tolerance for violence. However I bit the bullet and watched this, which was actually quite good! The plot is confusing and I only understood everything after the movie ended ha ha ha, but it makes you think about humanity and the future and all that jazz.

Friday night we attended my niece and nephew's birthday party at the prettiest chalet I've ever seen. I was horrified by the number of shrieking babies and running kids though and kept cursing throughout the night.

Today we attended another birthday party. This time it was the party of a distantly related nephew from my father's side at his house and looking at the pool makes me want to swim so bad! I like his cake because they replaced the cream with yoghurt, so I ate two slices. Ha ha ha.

I passed Maths and Physics. Miracles do exist. However I'm thinking that this is too good to be true and that the grades I'll receive next week would be otherwise. :(

I reckon that I should exercise. Ha ha ha. I should hire a personal trainer to be my conscience.

College is pointless now. We have only two or three lessons a day with useless gaps in between. The gate should be opened early for those who finish in the morning. In face, the college environment isn't conducive at all and is actually rather somnolent, dreary and uninspiring. Just like studying.

Anyway, I spent my gaps chatting and playing Tap Tap Revenge where I lost every game to the birthday girl, on purpose. Ha ha ha.

On Thursday after our last paper we went to watch Shorts, which was slightly retarded and plotless but nevertheless still hilarious. I like to watch brainless comedies.

Anyway, I really want to watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs but nobody wants to watch with me because they either watched it already or said it looks dumb. :( Do tell me if you want to watch alright, we'll have a romantic date together. :)

I posted this two days back, but I'm posting it again because everyone needs to watch it. It's so amazing. The music is also fantastic.

I honestly think Alonso isn't totally innocent regarding the Renault scandal. Also, F1 is a team sport, and if McLaren was disqualified from the championship in 2007 and fined a whopping 100 million dollars for spying, why does Renault get away so easily? They fixed a race and I'm glad Nico Rosberg came right out to declare the injustice of that.

Ferrari also just confirmed that only Massa would be one of its drivers for 2010 and that Kimi might not be despite the contract. :( I'll be horribly disappointed if that happens.

I can't believe I have examinations whilst F1 is in Singapore! D: It's incredibly saddening.

After umpteen times of trying, a distraught phone call and a Youtube video, I finally successfully used a can-opener for the first time in my 18 years. The fruits of my labour are in my stomach now and it feels so good. I'm extremely proud of myself.

I'm aghast to find out that the juice I've been drinking expired three weeks ago. D:

On the bright side, my hair smells great. It's in dire need of a cut though and I have no idea what to do with my fringe! I really want to grow it out but the awkward stages in between makes me want to snip it into blunt fringe again. Woe is me.

Recently I've been rediscovering music from my childhood, such as Michael Learns to Rock and Aqua. You might have noticed they are both Danish bands. The former's music renders my heart all wistful and aching while the latter makes me want to jump and bounce around while bopping my head madly in a good way ha ha ha.

I managed to find my old tagboards and reading all those tags really tugs at my heartstrings because of the nostalgia. :( 2007 was the last year we all spent at AHS together and we were happy and almost carefree. Now in 2009 I hardly talk to half the people who used to tag the most hilarious stuff and made me laugh.

I remember I used to put songs that can't be paused so people who visit are forced to listen to its entirety ha ha ha. They'd then tag and ask me what the song is if they like or express their distaste. I clearly remember an instance where someone insisted on me changing it.

Those who follow Formula 1 closely would now know about the saga of Renault and Nelson Piquet Junior! My information might not be totally accurate, but for those who are unaware, Piquet has released a statement which accused of Renault pruposefully orchestrating his crash at the Singapore GP last year. This allowed Alonso to make an early pit-stop and win the GP thereafter.

This is so exciting! If you ask me, I think Piquet isn't lying. I'm really interested to see how this goes on so if you have any updates do tell me! Meanwhile the Monza GP Qualifying would be showing later; I can't wait to see how Fisichella would perform in a Ferrari. Apparently, Force India performed the best during Friday's Practice. :\

Reunited and it feels so good! This was Monday night, which was brilliant except for the fact I forgot to bring my camera battery. It was also too expensive to get drunk.

My weekend was excellent! Family from Malaysia dropped by to stay so I decided, intelligently, to study most of the day of Saturday at the library to make up for the time I'm going to spend not studying. So I joined them for an awesome buffet dinner at the Swissotel where I proceeded to stuff myself silly. It was fun. I must have eaten a thousand pieces of raw salmon.

Sunday was spent shopping the entire day. Really. I even missed my Belgian GP where Kimi took the chequered flag, it was that serious! I brought N and E to Bugis Junction, which is a place I don't particularly care for but they were given positive reviews of it. There the brother and I bought a backpack each and tons of Muji stationery. So did N and E, all of us had a ball of a time fooling around there, it was hilarious! :) N and I then bought some rings because everyone needs some good hand candy yes? Yes.

Then off to Vivocity we went, because E wants to go to Candy Empire. We decided to go there last though. At Tangs, N, E and I bought a bag each in varying colours because we are cool like that. :) Dinner was at Secret Recipe where many curious incidents happened, including N spotting a guy who bears an uncanny resemblance to K! :O N and E then spent $51.50 at Candy Empire, I'm serious. I was gaping at the cash register ha ha ha.

Our last stop is Tampines 1, because it's close to home! The train ride back was just priceless. I never laughed so much in my life, E and the brother are the bombs! We also ate jellybeans while the brother snoozed on the train floor because he's kind like that; giving up seats to the elderly and whatnot. I bought a pencil case, E bought a dozen donuts for the family and we headed home after a fantastic day hee hee hee. All of us managed to polish off the donuts too!














Notice how steadfastly E chooses to not appear in any pictures at all but only discreetly at the bottom left hand corner. Not to worry, I managed to rope him into some pictures in N's camera so wait till I wrestle some of the pictures from her! :D

I'll have to delay that F1 post because I'm typing this using my phone. I don't even know if it'll work.

Today was awesome. Everyone turned up in the class tee but many strange people seem to misintepret some parts of the shirt. :O Connie is really cool though she knows who Kimi is! :)

I really want to not come for the Staff Day Celebration but life is an unexpected bitch who bites viciously in the ass. Boo. D:

The brother just told me that Caster Semenya has 3 TIMES the amount of testosterone in her body as compared to an average woman''s body! So disgusting! If I'm not wrong, her coach gave her something that caused her testosterone level to soar like an eagle. Ha ha ha. I was going to Google more about it but decide to go back to Maths instead.

Anyway my next blog entry will probably be about the reasons why I want to be an F1 driver. :D

Oh, and we received the class tee today and it's gorgeous. There's no other word for it. It's the best tee ever! I cannot wait for Friday! 28/08. :)

Lately I've been wanting to skip college in favour of studying because honestly, there aren't any many useful lessons now and it's just a waste of time to travel to and from college and to also torture myself unnecessarily. Unfortunately my parents do not seem to be able to comprehend this and feel like they understand better than myself about what I'm going through. Such empathy.

The brother and I went to the doctor on Monday. He has the flu while I have some kind of colic virus, but the doctor says it's alright for us to attend school still because we don't have the fever. The medicine works wonders though, I wonder if they're actually painkillers.

I love Mind Your Language! It's absolutely hilarious in the most amazing way and I slept at 2 because I couldn't stop watching it.

The Preliminaries are a blink of an eye away.

On Wednesday I had the worst headache ever in my life so when it persisted on Thursday, I skipped college. The joy. Utter, pure and unadulterated joy filtered through me despite the pounding and hammering of my skull. It was a wonderful feeling.

I really want to watch a lot of movies after I saw the listings in the newspaper! D:

Everybody's falling sick. We're all going to be sick.

My keyboard is filthy. I'll be off to clean it now.

I think I have a mild case of food poisoning. It still sucks nonetheless. This morning I had diarrhoea and it was absolutely unpleasant. The only upside was that I got to miss Econ because at 840AM exactly, another wave of diarrhoea hit me. I think I used a tree's worth of toilet paper too. :(

Then later in the day after I downed a cup of tea I felt like vomiting so I didn't eat lunch at all because I didn't want to vomit. I felt extremely tired and weak the entire day but luckily it got better in the afternoon. :)

Today still sucks though. My stomach still feels like it's going to erupt anytime and I feel extremely insecure. When I said I want to fall sick I didn't mean it like this!

This week is going to suck. I feel it in my bones. D: I don't feel like writing essays at all nor go to college but life is a bitch. The only way I can alleviate this is by complaining. I don't care if you judge me.

The brother bought the most ridiculous manga ever today. He justifies it because of its supposed comedic humour and that it costs a dollar cheaper than the books I wanted to buy. D:

I don't want this week to end! :( When it ends there'd be no more holidays and I'd need to finally face reality. :( Life is balls.

I'm watching Singapore Idol now and the auditions are hilarious! Some people actually come back again to further embarrass themselves. Honestly I marvel and even admire their courage (or stupidity) because I'll never have the guts to do this on public television.

Today was a good day! I woke up to see the morning and surfed a lot of internet, updated my iTunes library and basically surfed more internet. The afternoon was spent with Jing and Yt and we watched UP! It's a super adorable movie and I loved it. I found it a tad too short though, and that there wasn't really any build up to the turning point. The climax wasn't particularly exciting either but it's still definitely worth a watch in the cinema. :) Then dinner and shopping with F as usual where I saw many shoes that I fancy. D:

I really wanted to watch Public Enemies too but it's only showing at town now! This is such a bummer. :( I wanted to go to Ion Orchard today though but circumstance led us to roam around Tampines instead where we saw many familiar faces ha ha ha.

I'm going to enjoy my long weekend a lot! I hope you do too.

Oh, and to the cool people who have last.fm, add me! I love browsing people's music libraries, if not as much as perusing books at bookstores. I wish I had money to buy all the books I want! Admittedly money would make me a much happier girl.

So a certain tutor today elapsed into an insane mode in class. By insane I mean absolutely balling ballistic. She ranted about how slow we were and just sped through the entire tutorial without explaining whatsoever. Such an act of perfect professionalism.

I think just physically being in college zaps all my strength away. I don't think it's just me anymore when ten thousand other students agree with me about the atmosphere.

I can't do yoga tonight because of my period. I'd rather do yoga than have my period.

I realise that I sound like I'm slightly suicidal in the previous entry but I'm fine.

I have my period and it hurts like a bitch. I feel like a plunger was shoved into me and left inside. There's also an insistent and persistent ache around my womb area which constantly reminds me that yes, I indeed am having my period now. I want it to go away. Panadol only lasts for a few hours.

I just want to sleep this pain away but I can't. College is a bigger bitch. I honestly do not mind studying; at times I might even enjoy it. However it's impossible to expect me to stay in college till 5 or 6 while still studying or doing homework at home later. In case you did not know, we all need sleep. You pile loads and loads of work all over me and expect me to finish everything promptly. You want me to be alert and focused in class. I'm not sorry I failed you.

I think lasting relationships aren't based solely on love but trust. Trust and understanding. Sometimes you give me the impression that you don't trust me. Sometimes you show it. Sometimes you tell it to my face. I don't show it, but it hurts. It's an insult. I'm not sorry for your trepidation. I'm only sorry that you don't see how much I care for you; that you don't see that beyond my layers of smiles and jokes and laughter is something sincere. Something serious. Something real.

Everything always seems much harsher when in pain.

I've been sneezing since I woke up. I hope this lasts till Monday.

The consultation yesterday was not as bad as I had anticipated. :) After that I went to shop for the brother's present and got him a pair of navy Converse which he wanted for quite some time. He wanted to only open the present on his birthday itself but I forced him otherwise ha ha ha.

Kind of amazing.

Today we ate Sakae Sushi's buffet and gained 10 pounds each while laughing about the most nonsensical things ever. Life is amazing outside college.

I've been dropping a disturbing amount of hair lately and Mummy laments about it because she thinks there's something wrong with me.

I hope S gets well soon but I hope we get quarantined too.

Oh, and today is a momentous occasion because N, M, Th and I quitted the Learning Circle. Finally. :) Despite the huge load off my shoulders I still have a sinking feeling in my heart; like it's going to bite us back in the ass. Yw says we must kick major ass for the Preliminaries. We all must totally earn our ranking back!

Next week is going to be a bitch. A big, fat and immovable bitch. I can only await the National Day holiday with boundless anticipation and absolute longing.

I just finished tidying my desk and cleaning it so it's dust-free.



I'm so proud of myself! I just realised that I have countless knick-knacks and other random items strewn around so I basically gather them all together in a box and store it in a cupboard. Living on the 12th storey also means the amount of dust is unbelievable, so since I'm no Susie Homemaker I use tissue and nail polish remover to clean my tables. It works perfectly like a charm!

I would die to have some pretty bookcases in my room! I would totally sacrifice a table for a bookcase; if I don't have tables, I won't have place to chuck stuff and hence my room will be eternally tidy.

Everyday now I essentially wake up, torture myself at college, come home, torture myself further with attempts of homework and studying and sleep. This goes on repeat. Because of this I update my Twitter and Tumblr more.

The most exciting thing to happen in college today would be that I found out that I have a date with someone whom I'd prefer not to have a date with. Also, Mummy just signed me up for another round of yoga lessons because she says I still don't exercise and am fat.

Yay for Papa not working tomorrow so he can drive me to college! :) I absolutely hate public transport, the disgusting morning rush and being squeezed like a toothpaste tube running out on the bus. I want to drive so bad.

I had the most fantastic and dreamless sleep in the afternoon today and I just took a bath and washed my hair. I feel pretty awesome now! :D

We went to watch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince yesterday and it was so awesome! Well yes, the movies will never live up to the books and they pale in comparison but nevertheless they are loved by almost everybody in the world who worships the Harry Potter series, including me. :D Needless to say yesterday was a perfect day. There were many scenes omitted which I really wanted to see translated into film but that can't be helped. I screamed when the Inferi came out and cried when Dumbledore died, but honestly, his death was abrupt and almost anti-climatic. It didn't do him justice. :(

On a similarly bright note, I passed the JCT! So amazing, but the grades were pathetic.

Mark Webber won his first F1 Grand Prix today! :) He certainly deserved it as he accomplished it with all his blood, sweat and tears whilst conquering obstacles like the drive-through penalty. An absolute thumbs up to Hamilton who was stuck right at the rear end and a huge-super-major-ultimate thumbs down to Sutil who knocked Kimi! D: D: D: At least Massa finished 3rd.

From today onwards I'm going to tighten the strings of my purse and knot it so I won't spend money! :D Go me!

Thursday is going to be awesome.

In a nutshell my 18th was marvellous. :) Shopped with Twinkle and Yt where they bought me clothes, ate dinner with the family and came home to find a cake on my doorstep. I love the BFFLs because they are incredibly thoughtful and are nothing short of amazing. :D Some words don't have to be said but I really appreciate and love you with every crevice of my heart. Hello you, I have a home-baked cake for my 18th, do you?

Presents are secondary but I also want to thank those who bothered to buy something for me no matter what they are. :) Nevertheless I'm still going to expect presents from those who promised me so HA HA HA! The most outrageous present this year would be the thongs which I've buried in my cupboard because I'm a prude. On the other hand, Pa, Mummy and the brother all pragmatically gave me cash. :O The most surprising one would be F and Pig who dropped by at night (even though I honestly had this niggling feeling at the back of my head the whole day) and the brother who stuck a card into my file which I left in college but retrieved today!

I feel loved, I probably am loved and I love everybody who wished me because all of you played a part while I turn 18. :D
