Soccer Or Football?

Football means either rugby or soccer actually. I've always been confused about the two.

Anyway, I was never really a soccer/football fan. I know briefly how the game works and all, but I've never been really die-hard about it. I do support Czech Republic in the World Cup for some weird reason though ha ha! So when Papa (who is a die-hard Arsenal fan) was happily exclaiming the downfall of Chelsea, I was thinking of the F1 race in 2 weeks time. :D

There's something more thrilling about high speed car racing than 22 sweaty (albeit maybe a tad bit attractive) men running after a ball, hee. Once a F1 fan, forever one! :)

Two-timers need to die! I don't know if it's really fun to date 2 girls at the same time, but I hope your b*lls would shrivel off and just decompose or something.

Tomorrow's a holiday and there's just 4 more days to the Midyears!

Number 300

This is the 300th post! :) It's like a milestone! Ha ha.

5 more days to the Midyears! And I'm now awaiting 8PM to watch The Dance Floor so I can see Benji (hopefully) dancing. Those who watched So You Think You Can Dance 2 would know who's Benji. :D

I don't understand why teachers still give homework now and expect us to pass up. So ridiculous.

Direct Translations Should Die

I hate Chinese direct translations! Hate hate hate hate hate hate hate. :(

Our wonderful English teacher did not appear for the past 3 days and today, so we had no idea how we did on our previous essay. :(

I really hate direct translations now. :( :(

Oohlala Airport

So I've started studying at the airport again, it's actually very interesting to see the people at the airport.

Barely 2 days to Languages Papers 1 and a week or so to the Midyears. :( I won't be in MSN much, but I'll still be here. Hee hee.

Everyone study hard for the Midyears so we won't have to come back during the holidays alright! :)

Ciao English Orals

Yay for no more English orals!

My examiner was my Malay teacher, and she seemed to be really bored with the idea of examining us for orals. I think I finished talking in like 3 minutes. :( So I asked her to ask me a question, lmao. Hope I did well! :) Hope everyone else does well too.

• Disappointed in someones, but especially her.

Sappy dramas make me cry, people dying makes me cry, but some people just make me very disappointed. A lot of people say I'm very happy or perhaps I just don't care and let unhappy things get me down, but sometimes I succumb too you know? :( I'm not that invincible.

I guess without unhappy things you won't appreciate the happy things though, so a balance is needed! Now I know I mustn't take happiness for granted.

Soap Operas

Ha ha ha every morning assembly is like a soap opera now. So interesting and entertaining! And may I add that shade of green looks hideous on P. More often I find myself happy to be graduating this year hee.

In Need Of More Oxygen

Ha ha ha. I just had a sudden craving for more songs.

School has been horribly tiring for the past few days. If I don't get my morning dose of caffeine I'd fall asleep halfway through lessons, like Monday. I would randomly tell someone that I'm tired (and most probably hungry too), and that someone would reply I know, I can tell.

The weather is also unbearably hot! :(

Oh and this morning the P went insane. She demanded a tuck-in exercise because apparently everyone was too sloppy regarding attire. It was quite amusing really. Almost everybody was tucking in when she went berserk. She also said if you get caught outside school with inproper attire you'd get a demerit point. So exciting! :D She and VPC also walk around the school now to check out the classroom situations, and some cells already got confiscated today. I heard iPods were confiscated too. :\

Anyway, a reminder to self. 4D English prelim orals on Saturday, 7.30AM, classroom 1H. What a way to start a Saturday. :(

Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix

Massa finally got the win he deserved when he qualified for pole position. He was super elated about it too. Kimi, as usual, was all icy and Hamilton is on par with both Alonso and Kimi for championship points. I guess he got really lucky when he is to drive a McLaren, compared to the other rookies. He broke a record this weekend too! :)

Alonso, on the other hand, didn't do so well this weekend, and BMW took advantage of this when Heidfeld managed to overtake him. :\ BMW are doing quite well this season that it's scary! Anyway, David Coulthard was driving so well throughout the race, he went from 21st to 8th, then his engine blew after the pit stop. It was so disappointing. :(

Hee hee so that was my Formula 1 fix before the Midyears. :) The next race is a month away on May 13, and that's sort of in between the Midyears. I'm still going to watch it anyway! It's Spain, Alonso's home grand prix which makes it a must-see.

I love F1! :D

Saturday Tuition

Today's tuition was quite fun!

We're doing revision now so we did our papers before B went over with us. He seems to have tons of general knowledge and can link lots of random stuff with the Physics we're doing. So he was planning to have practical lessons in June so Pig and I mentioned that we were going to UK during that time, and it turns out he was just there recently! All of us ended up getting sidetracked and talked about planes and London's Underground. Very very interesting and funny conversation ha ha. :)

Lately I've been going back in time and listening to really old songs, like those which were really popular during my primary school days. Hee hee.

The Prayer - Josh Groban & Charlotte Church

I've managed to find Josh Groban's first album CD which I've misplaced for forever! So now I'm way back into love with The Prayer. :) I remember I used to set this song on replay on my CD player years ago, and now I'm doing the same just that it's the computer. Charlotte Church has an amazing voice, it's so unique and she's so young! Oh, and Italian is sexy! I've decided my future Significant Other must speak Italian. :D

Zombie-like

I was up close with the VPC today. The rumours are true, she does look like a zombie. The resemblance is so uncanny that it's scary. Her eyes are huge because they're sunken and she has eyebags and rings which didn't help much. I can practically see her cheekbones because she's so thin and her skin just stretches tightly over them. :\

I think she'd fall over if I blew at her direction.

I still can't use chopsticks the right way. :(

And I got mass sabotaged today, but at least I got to sit on the chair.

2-3 weeks to Midyears and 2 months to UK! :)

Sepang Malaysia Grand Prix

Today's Formula 1 seriously kicked ass. :D The race is only 400 or so of kilometres away from me though, I wished I was there!

I kept squealing and screaming during the race to myself and I think Mom got fed up with me so she told me to call Papa and scream to him instead of myself.

Anyhow, the race is just so super exciting! I'm really happy that both Renaults scored points, and yeah McLaren and Ferrari also scored points but that's expected. Oh and that new guy - Lewis Hamilton - he's really good! Throughout that 55 laps he blocked both Ferarris (who are very experienced) and not let them overtake him! Albeit there was this turn when Massa overtook him but he overtook right back at the next turn! :D But I think if Kimi wasn't stuck behind the 2 of them, he could have overtaken Alonso. Maybe, hee hee.

I demand everyone to watch F1 so I can actually talk to someone about it in school!

F1 in Bahrain next week! :)

Yay for 3-day Weekend

So it was Good Friday yesterday, which means a holiday. :) Went out shopping before catching Mr Bean's Holiday with Bro. That movie is so retarded! Bro couldn't stop laughing though, his sense of humour is twisted just like that. Some parts are albeit funny, and the kids in the cinema kept imitating what Mr Bean said.

Oh and we finally ate at Lerk Thai again, which is definitely my favourite Thai restaurant. :D

We also went to Papa's friend's shop at Marina where she sells lots of clothes from other countries, and she then told me lots of embarrassing things about Papa. >:D Blackmail!

There is F1 today and tomorrow! I'd miss today's qualifying because of tuition though. :(

A secretary for a foreign embassy was entertaining a wealthy foreign ambassador during lunch at a very expensive restaurant in New York.

The ambassador was so enthralled by the beauty and presence of this secretary that he asked her to marry him. The secretary was startled, but remembered that her boss told her never to insult foreign dignitaries, so she decided to let him down easy.

"I'll only marry you under three conditions."

"Anything, anything," said the ambassador.

"First, you must buy me a 14-karat gold wedding band with a 72 carat diamond, along with a 28 inch studded matching necklace for our engagement."

Without hesitation, the ambassador picked up his cellular phone, called his personal accountant, told him the instructions, and said, "Yes, yes, I buy, I buy!"

The secretary thought that her first request was too easy, so she thought of a more difficult situation.

"Second, I want you to build me a 58-acre mansion in the richest part of the Hamptons along with a 40-acre summer home in the sweetest vineyards of France."

The ambassador picked up his phone, called his personal broker in New York, then called another broker in France, and after his quick conversation, he said, "Yes, yes, I build, I build!"

The secretary was very startled, and knew she must think of a final request that would be impossible to live up to.

"Finally," she said. "I'll only marry you if you have a 10-inch *****."

A sad face befell the ambassador, and he cupped his face in his hands. After weeping in his native language for a few minutes, the ambassador slowly lifted his head and said, "Okay, okay, I cut, I cut!"

Yawn

I've been sleeping excessively in the afternoons these days yet it still isn't enough. I actually fell asleep while reading the comprehension passage for the Higher Chinese test today! :\ I have really bad vibes about that test too. Hope I can manage a pass. :( :( :(

Right, so there's Chemistry SPA tomorrow which I sincerely hope that I won't screw up, remedial after school and Nuer's birthday! :D Happy Birthday Nuer! (Early, I know) Watch out tomorrow because you're going to get a great present. :D

Copious amounts of orange juice and caffiene only manages to keep me awake for awhile in front of the books. How pathetic. I wish I had insomnia now. Bro and I settled for blasting Channel V on television because parents made us study outside, and my speakers are in my room. Silence just makes me want to sleep more! :(

Car Love!

I sat in Pig's new Hyundai Avante yesterday! And I'm the 6th one to sit it, after their family. :D The interior is really nice.

Mark Webber was in Singapore to test the proposed F1 circuit! It'd be so exciting if they really were to come!

I managed to trick someone today into believing that I'm migrating to somewhere else tomorrow! Ha ha ha, evil me. >:D
