So I'm back in Singapore now after a very good trip in Hong Kong! I can't believe that there's only a few hours left in 2007. A year passes by in a blink of an eye- did you accomplish anything worthwhile in these 365.25 days?
Well 2007 is sort of an important year for me, it being my O' Level year and all. So that certainly leaves a mark as it's my last year in secondary school and the last time I'll be seeing my schoolmates. I'd also graduated out of secondary school this year, like many others.
However I also feel that with some people, I've come to grow closer to them emotionally throughout this year. We had serious talks about our lives, our thoughts, our views and the like, some which are even rather personal. We gossiped carelessly about random, negligible people. I feel really lucky to not have lose contact with people I don't meet regularly, which actually just requires effort on both parts to make it possible. I'm glad I made the effort! :D
I've also got to know some people that I know by name in school but didn't really talk to, like the people who went on the UK trip! :D That was definitely one of my best memories in secondary school; it was 10 days of pure and maybe a tad of adulterated fun! :D :D :D All the lovely girls I've come to meet on the trip are totally amazing and we need to make a trip back there when we're older or something again together. :)
On the other hand there are some people that whom I've drifted apart from. :( Irony, irony.
In all 2007 is a pretty good year for me, in the sense that I know that I'm matured in my thinking (not my actions though, because that would make me boring) and that even though I'm losing the childlike naïveté that time chips off, I still hope growing up wouldn't be that painful.
Of course there are the negative aspects of 2007, such as I'm still as lazy as ever, and that I still don't try hard enough sometimes, et cetera et cetera. Must overcome all these bad points!
Adieu 2007, we all look forward to 2008! :D

ciao
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all who reads this!
I hope all of you get loads of blessings not only in material form of course, but in terms of care, concern and love! Stay happy and I hope that 2007 has been an awesome year for everyone, because guess what? 2008 will just be a better year!
Anyway, I'll be leaving for Hong Kong tomorrow morning and will only be back on the 30th, so I'll see you all then. I'm going to miss everyone!

the clock is ticking

On Monday I managed to watch the Golden Compass! I decided to not read the book after all, so I didn't really understand the movie at first. However as it went on the pieces fell quite well together. I thought that Dakota Blue Richards acted very well (she has a really awesome sulk and scorn), that Eva Green is beautiful and that Daniel Craig is hot. Ha ha ha. I felt that the movie had an abrupt ending though, maybe because I want to know more and I didn't get to know more. This means it'd have a sequel! So should I read the books first or what? I remember debating this question last year when I watched Eragon, but I ended up not reading them. The sequel didn't come out yet, after a year. Maybe there wouldn't be one. :O
Tuesday was ice-skating and boy did I forget how to ice-skate. I kept stretching my arms out to keep my balance and this one time when I actually stretched my arm out, this sweet little girl grasped my hand! Ha ha ha! :D She's so adorable! I mean, she was just holding my hand and everything- I think she thought I was falling or something. Yes she could skate perfectly well. At least there was someone who was worse than me on ice; I call him the dancer on ice! Or rather, the penguin.
On a side note, I've been celebrating Christmas early! In Maple ha ha ha.

'Tis the season to be jolly, falalalala, lalalala!

prologue to results
So today the PAE results are released. For the benefit of those who don't know what's PAE, it's the exercise whereby the O' Level students choose their junior college for the trial first month next year, before the actual O' Level results are out.
I woke up at 1145AM with 5 new texts, a few which demanded me to check which college I'm posted to.
In case you're wondering, I'm posted to MERIDIAN JUNIOR COLLEGE (SCIENCE). If you're posted there too you need to tell me immediately so I'd know!
...Then I found out I can't take Econs and Literature together in the Science stream. Ha ha ha. I cringe at the thought of taking Chemistry again, but we'll see.

scream my lungs out

On Tuesday I finally managed to catch Enchanted with Debby! The movie made me laugh so bad, and I thought the prince was hot. :D
After the movie we went to meet the rest at Downtown East (the rest being Qian, Faus, Stephie and Winky) and headed to Escape Theme Park! Ha ha ha! I'm serious. The queuing time for the rides is very long though. We first queued for the go karts, and it was fun! I wanted to go another round but that would mean queuing for goodness knows how long again. So we went to queue for the Inverter but when it was reaching our turn it started to rain! :( So depressing!
Hence we hung out at the stalls and watch people throw hoops, balls and whatnot while whining about the rain. But miraculously before we left the place, the rain stopped! :D This time we went to queue for this ride which had turning cups. I have no idea what the name of the ride is, obviously. Debby was initially afraid because she said it made her giddy, but when we were on the actual ride there wasn't much of a kick. Nevertheless it was fun!
Right after that we raced for the Inverter again! However this group of super inconsiderate people cut the queue so we had to wait even longer. I mean, seriously, one or two people is alright, but thirteen?! I shall skip the unpleasant part. So when we were safely secured to our seats, I realised that my feet are dangling and they could not touch the ground! :X Then they started flinging us into the sky, which was just fabulous. I screamed so bad! Honestly I'd love to ride that again but I had time constraints. :(
The Viking was the one ride that truly scared me though! Debby and Stephie sat out on this one so there were only 4 of us. When we were about to enter the ride, this cute girl tugged on my shirt and said, "Jie jie, can you sit with me?" I was surprised for a second then I looked up to see her father at the other side smiling and nodding his head. I agreed and so she sat with us and everything! Debby was busy taking embarrassing pictures of us during the ride though. I just kept screaming my head off. The poor girl beside me looked like she was trying to contain her laughter though. But she was super shy! I asked her to look at the camera, which she did for about two seconds before ducking her head ha ha! So adorable!
During the actual ride when the ship froze for like 2 seconds when it swung up, I felt like I would fall and die if I let go of the bar so I clung really hard to it and it MOVED, which scared the crap out of me. The girl was hugging the bar super tightly too which proves it wasn't just me! :X I wouldn't hesitate to sit the ride again though ha ha.
I love amusement parks! :D Photos are in Qian's camera, if you're lucky you might get to see our petrified faces on the Viking and other unglam photos of messy hair and sticky faces.
Anyway, it was a great day spent with lovely people. :)

ode to mum
Happy Birthday to my beloved Mummy. I will not put the age because every woman's age is a secret. However I'm glad to say that my mother doesn't look any older and that she's in very good health, which is what that matters actually. :)
Even though you may not understand me sometimes, I know you love me.
Even though you may seem unreasonable at times, I know you care for me.
Even though your actions may not make me happy, I know you want the best for me.
Even though we have our differences, we are family.
Happy Birthday Mummy and I love you! :D

can you feel the love tonight
If you want to hang out with me just text or call and we can do something, BECAUSE I'M SERIOUSLY BORED AT HOME. Especially with those people I haven't seen in forever! I just want to enjoy a bit of life before going back to school next year too.
Anyway, I was rereading texts in my inbox which contents I've forgotten over the year. It's just fascinating how we forget our conversations with people- conversations that might mean something to them and us. How we may forget deals that were made, words that were said (or in this case, typed) and perhaps plans that were confirmed but then neglected.
It's amazing how in this fast-paced world we fail to slow down and remember.

gimme more
Ha ha ha I actually like Britney's Gimme More. So slutty I know!
Anyway I've been busy this past week, with prom and the visit from my cousins and friends from Malaysia! However hectic this week was I had tons of fun. Photos will be up soon because I simply don't have time to do so right now!
Tuesday was prom, so in the afternoon we went to get our hair and makeup done before cabbing to Four Seasons Hotel. It was basically a sort of glamourous night to mingle with the batch the last time. Anyway it was fun, if not tiring, to shop for the dress and shoes but I did manage to purchase both for under a hundred dollars. So yay for me!
Thursday my cousins and their friends reached here. They came mainly because they signed up for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon! Unfortunately I did not get to see them run because the marathon started at an unearthly time. I probably will join next year though, if they come next year again! (I'm cringing at the thought of running 10KM, but at least before I die I could say I ran in a marathon before) On the rest of the days we went around shopping and eating. I tried to make the boys to spend all their Singapore money but I failed. :( It was a tiring and hectic 5 days but nevertheless fun and amazing and I got to meet a couple of new people. :D :D :D
On a side note, I managed to complete the Rubik's Cube! I am simply brilliant.

baby it's fact
Just in case they're wondering
They've got us pinned terribly
They don't believe our love is real
'Cause they don't know how real love feels
You should know it's true
Just now, the part about my love for you
And how my heart's about to burst
Into a thousand pieces
Oh it must be true
And they'll believe us too soon
Baby, it's fact
That our love is true
The way black is black
And blue is just blue
My love is true
It's a matter of fact
Oh, and you love me too
It's as simple as that
Baby, our love is true
They may say some awful things

i need money, now
After endless hours of shopping and just being outside of the house, I realise I'm now short of money. :( I'm so short of money, that I went to apply for jobs. :\ Technically I sort of applied at an employment agency.
On Friday Faus and I went to try the prom dresses. After that we met Ys who pierced his ears! I can't believe it! We hung out at town, shopped, chatted aimlessly and talked about politics and such over dinner. It was fun. :) My past few days were spent just like this.
On Saturday, (because it's after 12AM) we collected the dresses and bought the shoes too. Like finally, it's so hard for us to get suitable dresses because I scorn at almost everything and I guess I have high standards? I don't know, I hardly see clothes that I like. If I do, they're probably overpriced. Well at least I managed to buy a dress already! Heeheehee. Felt really pleased when I finally found it. The shop owner is a lovely person, she's super friendly and helpful! It's very easy to be engaged in a conversation with her too.
Prom is on Tuesday and I hope it'll be amazing.
I had also submitted my PAE form with 3 filled choices out of 12.

i hate not remembering
There's a tune stuck in my head and I don't know which song is it! It's irritating the hell out of me. I only know that the singer is male and that he's singing in English. I hate it when this happens. :( Anyone who's really good in identifying English songs through tunes please tell me and I'll call you and sing to you or something, because I really want to know what song is it. :(

life after the O's
I sleep late everyday, wake up early on weekdays to go out and sleep in on weekends. That's the routine before O's, and it didn't change after O's! Just that instead of going out to sit for an exam, I go out to do more pleasant things- like shopping and just hanging out with the Bffls. So for the past few days after the last paper, we basically went shopping everywhere for prom things. Maybe it's just me and my high expectations but it's really hard to find a dress that I like, especially with a budget.
Anyway there was the 2A chalet a couple of days ago! We dropped by on Wednesday (coincidentally Li Ming's birthday) and it was fun! I thought the East Coast chalets were nicer but oh well! For the first time in my life I rode a double bike, and I sat at the back ha ha. I really like cycling but no one ever cycles with me. Anyway, there was the customary card games and even mahjong, because Shih Ying brought his mini tiles over! They were so tiny that my hands felt awkwardly large. We hung out at the arcade too and played many dollars worth of Daytona. Sometimes I rock in it and sometimes I suck, but I'd like to believe I rock in it most of the time.
Then it was the barbecue! The lovelies outside started cooking while we watch random shows on Channel U. Then started the gossiping, the aimless chatter and a relatively hilarious session of Play the Doctor. Halfway through the BBQ they brought in a cake and balloons for the birthday girl! :D It was so sweet, and she totally teared up. Ha ha ha. :) We serenaded her with the birthday song as loud as possible (at least I did! Who cares about face, the one million people barbecuing with us won't see us again) too.
Went to play more Daytona but Stephie lost her phone there. :( If those bitches really stole her phone, may karma kick them in their ass next time. 4 of us had a really good talk under the stars too. I feel sort of glad that I could help someone out with their problems even though I may not be experienced. :\ Went home at around 12.

I wonder when we can get to meet up like this again.
*
I went back to school on Friday to attend the briefing about PAE, and now I'm wondering whether to apply for first month or not. In the end I chose to put MJC as my first choice, but the rest of the choices are still rather undecided and empty.
And now I'll just do more shopping and watch more movies and on a whole, spend money like there's no tomorrow before facing the reality of more results.

MY O LEVELS ARE OVER!!!
Yes ladies and gents, NO MORE STUDYING. NO MORE TEXTBOOKS, NO MORE DOING PRACTICE PAPERS AND NO MORE TRYING TO CRAM RANDOM INFORMATION INTO MY POOR BRAIN. YAY x49328034280924389023489! Quick, congratulate me! (I am totally ignoring the fact that my emotions would be the exact opposite when the results are back)
On the other hand, all the best to the countless people taking Biology MCQ tomorrow! :D
Guess who?
So I've been playing MapleStory again (I know, super lame) and I'm currently in both Aquila and Cassiopeia so if you play either of those worlds just tell me and we can hit snails together. Yippee.
I had a lot of interesting things to say earlier on and a few days back but I can't seem to recall anything now. I promise to blog when I have something to say now. Life after the O's (and before next year) should be better. I think.
Till then!

game plan!
As of yesterday all my major papers are over, leaving me with only 2 MCQ papers to be taken on Monday, 2-4.30pm. I will then be free! :D

Maybe I have embraced my yet-to-be-found freedom too soon, but it felt so good. Watched the Game Plan and shoeshopped the entire mall today! Anyway, the Game Plan is a really sweet movie and I thought that The Rock is hot. Ha ha ha.
And now, the multiple choices beckon me. :(

Halfway there
8 papers over and 8 more papers to go! :O The air-conditioning had been particularly strong this week. It keeps me awake though.
I just suddenly remembered I never did post about the wedding dinner we attended last Sunday, on the 21st. So family from Malaysia came down on Friday night and I met someone new, who's my cousins' cousin! The dinner was held at the Fullerton Hotel (apparently the bride's family is $$$$$) and we also watched the solemnisation, where they signed this legal document alleging that they are married ha ha. Throughout the night the bride must have changed at least 3 dresses! Oh, and amongst the guests was Guang Liang's cousin. :O I wonder if he can sing too, heh.

17 more days
Yay for not having a paper today!
By the way, KIMI RAIKKONEN is FORMULA 1 2007 CHAMPION! :D :D :D :D It was a fantastic Brazillian grand prix that I'd stayed up to watch even though there was a paper 12 hours later. I know I'm being mean, but ha ha ha to the Ham, I've never liked him even though he's a driving prodigy and all that jazz.

In my honest opinion I thought Graduation Day didn't feel like Graduation Day at all. It was boring, the emcees were dreadful and... it was boring.

organised chaos
For the past few days, my mom had been telling me to clean my desk/tidy up my room/stop leaving things on the floor/stop leaving unnecessary knick knacks on the table/pack the shelves and the list goes on. This rant of hers is actually quite unusual but she has been stepping it up lately because we're going to have people over on Friday to Monday. According to the parents, there are going to be probably 7 people staying here. (Anyway if you are wondering, all of us are attending a wedding dinner Sunday night at the Fullerton) So, I have to tidy up my room because it's only fit for me to live in currently.
I've never fully comprehended why my parents consider my room a mess. To me it's more of organised chaos. For one, I actually know where all my things are, even though to someone else it's impossible to find them. Leaving things strewn about on the floor doesn't hinder my movements either. I don't need an abundance of space to walk about, so why not make use of the floor?
However, the parents always win so now you can see that my floor is made of wooden tiles. You can also see the surfaces of my desk and table.
Unfortunately I wasn't the one who cleaned up - apparently she didn't have the patience to wait for me to do so - so my mother tidied up everything. I guess it's sort of good, that I don't have to clean up now.
Except for one slight misfortune.
I can't find anything now. :(

knock knock
So 2 days of break is over! Only 9 days left for now to the killers. D:<
Firstly, I couldn't go out to study because my parents informed me that they'd prefer me staying at home or going to school (which is stupid), so I've been asking people to drop by at my house instead when they ask me to go out to study.
Secondly, there's no secondly! :D
On Thursday, Mei Yan came by in the morning and we did Math until I wanted to die. Yong Sheng dropped by later in the afternoon with sustenance in the form of lunch, and the two proceeded to cook while I continued struggling with Math. Yes, in my house, the guest does more than the host.
Yesterday Faus(L) came with lots of lunch and brains, so I could actually complete my Math without asking other people other than the people in the house already. :P I'd definitely accomplished more than the day before. I'm telling all boys now to please date her because she'd be a wonderful wife, ha ha ha. :D

a person like you never existed to me
The day when the sun set,
my footsteps took me,
opening my eyes,
to a place I thought I had forgotten.
Whether or not do I still have
some hatred towards you,
I just want to be free now.
I believe time would solve everything
is it a foolish belief?
Now, I just want to go with the flow.
It doesn't matter to you anymore.
From the start,
a person like you
never existed to me,
the way I didn't to you.
Remember, one day you'll hurt
as much as I did
from someone other than myself.
You'll experience the same pain.
I'm sorry, this is all I can do.
Really, it's the only way I can be.
Waiting for that day to come,
when I can start over like you?
For me, who can't love you and
can't help but hate you?

When I see your smile
Tears run down my face I can't replace
And now that I'm strong I have figured out
How this world turns cold and it breaks through my soul
And I know I'll find deep inside me I can be the one
I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you sends me to heaven
It's okay. It's okay. It's okay.
Seasons are changing
And waves are crashing
And stars are falling all for us
Days grow longer and nights grow shorter
I can show you I'll be the one
I will never let you fall (let you fall)
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all (through it all)
Even if saving you sends me to heaven
'Cause you're my, you're my, my, my true love, my whole heart
Please don't throw that away
'Cause I'm here for you
Please don't walk away and
Please tell me you'll stay woah, stay woah
Use me as you will
Pull my strings just for a thrill
And I know I'll be okay
Though my skies are turning gray
I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you sends me to heaven

open houses
On Friday I left school at 11.20AM because of Raffles JC's Open House! :) It was amazing, I got to miss Physics and simultaneously visit a fantastic institution with an equally excellent campus. We could only stay there for an hour or so because the bus had to leave, so we only managed to sit through the principal's address and roam the CCA stalls. Also, there are so many cute boys in RJ!
After that we left for Temasek JC's Open House and met a million people there. It was also swelteringly hot there. This really sweet girl brought us around and at the running track we met the swim team who got us to throw water balloons. It was pretty embarrassing because I can't throw for nuts.
Took the train to Meridian JC's Open House and spent probably less than half an hour there before leaving because it was horribly boring and it sucked. Took a cab home because I was lugging a million (okay, 4) bags and they were heavy. I woke up the next day with my body aching!
On Saturday we went to Victoria JC's Open House which was pretty interesting! The weather was still super hot though and it kind of affected me because all I wanted to do was to eat ice cream and stay in an air-conditioned place. Met Debby who brought us around! Inquired about Knowledge and Inquiry before leaving for Parkway Parade!
Oh! Sunday's Chinese grand prix was simply amazing. I was kept on tenterhooks throughout the whole race and I practically screamed my head off in delight when Hamilton DNF. :) What can I say, I'd rather Alonso or Kimi win, especially Kimi! :D He certainly deserves a championship. I admit, he'd won in 2005/2006 if not for his car breaking down during crucial races. I don't really even care that the O's are on the next day, I'll watch the Brazilian grand prix the night before (what's more after the wedding dinner) because it's the last grand prix of season 2007 and I will not miss it for anything.
Anyway, I'm going to make my parents eat their words and cough up two grand because they suck, so I shall go and study. D:<

balls of fury

Balls of Fury is an excellent comedy when you lose your brains while watching it! Personally I thought it was good because it cheered me up after the horrendous Prelims results. Actors like Terry Crews (who was hilarious in White Chicks too), Christopher Walken (I was puzzling over which movie he acted in before, and I finally found out that it's Hairspray) and James Hong are super funny with their antics. Didn't regret watching it with the boys! :)
Anyway, I'm going to Raffles Junior College and Victoria Junior College on Friday and Saturday respectively so maybe I'll see some familiar faces there. It's so hard to choose between Polytechnic and Junior College now, especially because of the factor of admission into University.
I can't wait for the O's to be over because I'd have serious fun doing everything except studying! :D That's probably the best motivation now for me to study, along with the freedom and capability to choose whichever tertiary institution I want to enrol in next year.
So everybody (especially me and people like me) please work hard! Even though it's hard and maybe a tad boring (at least for me), it'd all be worth it in the end.

no reservations
Today is absolutely fantastic! I actually woke up at 8 to prepare myself, but in the end I was still late. Met Stephie at Tampines before taking the train to Somerset. Instead of stopping at City Hall (we actually missed the announcement), we stopped at Raffles City. Okay so at City Hall when you cross the platform, the train there heads towards Jurong East. (Somerset is on that route) We realised at Raffles City, when you cross the platform and take the train it does not go to Somerset. It goes in the opposite direction and we ended up at Marina Bay. It was so embarrassing! Thank goodness there's only one stop from Raffles City to the end of the route or we'd continue taking the train obliviously. So we were even later because of this slight mishap!
Weepeng, Stephie and I then walked down Orchard Road while sightseeing! :D Waited for Eunice outside Tangs before we decided to go to the Cathay at Dhoby Ghaut for lunch! We had Billy Bombers and gosh does that restaurant serve humongous servings! None of us could finish our meals even though we were really hungry. (Except Stephie, but she still ate a lot ha ha ha) We went to Gramaphone and ended up talking to this guy who was selling Ferrari/Meridian (yay Formula 1) speakers who claimed he saw Busted before! Whether it is true is another thing, but he and Weepeng argued about whether Busted did actually come to Singapore before and it was so cute!

We caught this movie and sat at couple seats again while drinking Starbucks. I love this! It's wonderful how Kate managed to sort out her priorities and how the important people in her life helped her do so. The food they cooked looked great too!
After that we walked from the Cathay to Heeren and shopped for awhile before leaving. Lovely Wee brought her amazing fedora so all of us got to wear it at some point! I so want a fedora now! Wee lent me hers for the weekend so I love her! :)
Anyway, this is probably the last day of such fun until the O's are over. That's 12 November. It's far. :(

sung my lungs out
Thank goodness Physics 1 was a million times easier than yesterday's Chemistry 1. I totally screwed up yesterday. :( The Prelims have officially ended but we'd get back results next week and O's start in a month!
The paper ended at like 8.45AM so the pig and the cow and I went to Parkway Parade to eat before going to Kbox! You should hear our choice of conversation over meals, it could seriously make you lose your appetite. I was laughing so loud but luckily there weren't many people then because it was so early! After that we went to Marine Parade's Kbox and sung our lungs and throats out yay. (Anyway I just want to say the service at Kbox really sucks, be it the one at Marina Square or Marine Parade. The pig had a ball of a time screaming stuff like shemale and scammer and whatnot into the microphone whenever this lousy staff member walked past our room.) So Kbox was fun even though I didn't know half of the songs we sung! :D Shopping would be amazing if we had enough cash. Sometimes (just sometimes) I wish I were working. :\ In whole, today was absolutely funny and fun.
AHH YONG SHENG AND BOBO TEXTED ME DURING KBOX AND MADE ME JEALOUS BECAUSE THEY BOUGHT DBSK'S CD AND CONCERT TOUR!
I'm elated because tomorrow is a holiday and I'd be finally out of the house having more fun but I'm despondent because Monday will be utter hell.

I see the light
Only 2 more days till the end of Prelims, then it's the start of the cramming for O's. Lovely how this vicious cycle doesn't end.
Blew money at Genki Sushi yesterday after Physics 2. I've decided to spend less on food now, because I should really save money for other things instead of carnal pleasure ha ha ha.
I totally did not expect War to come out as one of the themes in today's paper. :\
Anyway Thursday and Friday should be amazing, I can't wait! :D

I hate Prelims
So after the English paper I was feeling better than yesterday because English was considerably easier than A Math. (If I hear one more person telling me A Math was okay I'll slap your face) Then I met Mr. Chen at the staff room and he asked "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR E MATH?"
...I thought I only screwed up A Math, but E Math too?!
This seriously sucks major balls. Like, really. Oh gosh this is so depressing. D:<

Hello Prelims
So today is the first day of the Prelims! Only 8 more days to go, excluding the weekend. I'm a little disappointed in myself because even though I know that the Prelims are important to an extent but I don't feel the urge to study. The... urgency? I don't know. I only panic after the exam but that's a tad late then. I need to motivate myself!
In response to that, I just stuck a post-it to the computer with my Prelims dates on it. Ha ha ha.

Got tagged! Basically I have to list 8 random habits/facts about myself. This would be interesting!
1. My hands and feet get cold easily
I don't know why actually, but I've heard that you lose heat easily through your hands or something like that.
2. I love to watch movies
Seriously. It's so easy to lose yourself in another world. It's so boring to see only through your viewpoint.
3. I play the piano
I passed Grade 8 Practical in Secondary 1 and failed Grade 8 Theory last year ha ha ha. Stopped learning after I passed Practical though for some reason I can't really recall now. Anyway, I do love playing the piano even though my fingers are bloody short. I actually considered going to a music school but it didn't really work out in the end.
4. I'm seriously unfit
I guess I'm healthy, in the sense that I don't have any illnesses or whatnot. However I don't exercise. At all. So I'm very unfit. I want to pick up a sport though! Like maybe tennis. Oh, and I like cycling.
5. I like to read
I think hardly anyone knows but I used to read a lot when I was a kid. I probably have like 500 books. (You know, Enid Blyton, Boxcar Children, Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Animorphs, Harry Potter and it goes on forever) I don't really have the time to sit down and read a proper book now, so I read self-published stories online whenever I use the computer. Or better, when I manage to visit the bookstore and purchase some proper reads.
6. I fall in and out of love easily
It's like I can like something for a long period of time, but I'd wake up the next day and realise that I didn't really care if I don't have that something. I don't really know if this made sense.
7. I'm easily irritated, but not-so-easily disappointed
Something is usually very wrong if I'm sad. I don't think things don't make me sad; rather it's people. You know how they say the people you trust and love the most will hurt you the most? It's true. I can also bitch like there's no tomorrow because when I'm in the right mood, anything can piss me off.
8. I love languages and I want to travel the world
I want to learn how to speak Italian, Spanish, French, German, Korean, Japanese, Greek, Latin and many many more before I die, and go to all these countries and speak to the people there ha ha ha!
In response to that, I just stuck a post-it to the computer with my Prelims dates on it. Ha ha ha.

I'm an owl
Good morning Singapore! (Sing this to the tune of "Good Morning Baltimore")
Hello it's like 3 in the morning and I just realised I really should not have that coffee even though I wanted to stay up to catch the finale of 水湖无间道!
So on Tuesday I went to school with the intention of studying Math because over the years my Math started to suck. Did accomplish a tad bit, but I can't seem to study at home because I get distracted by many things. I think I can even distract myself if I lock myself up. Or sleep, perhaps. Anyway Mr. Chong gave us a lift to Tampines in his car ha ha so that was nice of him. Speaking of nice, thanks to Eloise who burnt Hairspray's OST for me even though I tricked you into going to school. :) Thanks to Evelyn who sent me many of DBSK's songs too! :D
Now I'm debating whether to go to school tomorrow! So should I, or should I not?
Only a couple more days to Prelims which will start on Monday! :( All the best! (Especially me)

Holidays?
So today's the first day of the one-week holiday we usually get at the end of Term 3. By default, I'm supposed to be out spending money on movies, food, shopping, ice-skating... Basically, anything except studying.
But no, I'm now slaving my guts out trying to do A Math (Leibniz, oh Leibniz, why did you have to invent Calculus?) and other hellish subjects. And Prelims would be taking a whole 9 days, not counting the weekends! I'm so excited, really. :)
If you believed that, you're stupid. Really.
Anyway, screw Popular's price tags! After my nails are destroyed trying to peel the buggers off, they still have sticky remnants! D:<
*
Wednesday was "Express Yourself" Day! To summarize it all most of us donated 2 dollars to the new stadium fund and wore our own clothes instead of uniforms! It was grand. Everybody looked so pretty and handsome! 4Darlings' theme was Caps, but I think only Victor and I wore the caps for the whole day, most probably for the same reason (cap hair)
I know you are all dying to see PICTURES!

Watched Ratatouille on Thursday with Meiyan because it was her birthday! I didn't regret watching this at all despite the time rush then. It's a great movie for an animation! You can totally feel Paris while watching it. Le sigh.
Friday was the eve of Teachers' Day so us TNPS 6.9 2003 went back again! We're faithful. Mrs Gan had a new haircut and personally I think it's very flattering on her! Saw Wei Sheng for the first time in 4 years I think, Fang Jie's still a bitch, Jonas has rubber bones, Li Ping is still very very tall, Man Ching's voice changed and I can't think already. Anyway I totally drew our school logo correctly okay! Tabitha totally got our song wrong too! :D Then a bunch of us went to the playground and played 3 Blind Mice! I don't know why I was the blind mice, but I only caught 2 people. :( After that the boys played football while us girls started bitching/gossiping! I love! Jonas and Huan Jun were dancing nearby ha ha. It was very very fun! Yay I love 6.9 forever!
We totally need a gathering, I don't care about Prelims! Okay maybe I do, a tad bit, but still! You know what I mean. :)
*
I'm going back to school tomorrow to see Voldemort. Is anyone else going too? Text me alright!

Hairspray Is The Bomb!
Hairspray rocked so much! :D Managed to catch it after Prelims Papers 1 on Monday, thank goodness. Besides the singing and dancing, it actually explores stuff like racism. I kept squealing throughout the movie because it was so hilarious and hot (guess who? I'll tell you, Zac Efron!) and simply amazing.
Anyway it's only a week plus more left to Prelims, so BEST OF LUCK to all Secondary 4s! Study smart. :)

Third Time's a Charm
So I finally passed 2.4, on my third time. So did Yeqin! We kick ass. I was ecstatic. :)
Anyway, a BIG FAT THANK YOU to my lovely darlings ♥ who ran with me today, especially Cheng Nee who ran the whole 8 laps with me! :D 6.9 forever! Also, thanks to those who were cheering too, I really appreciated it.
So even though my stomach wanted to come out of me, my breathing was screwed up and I just wanted to stop running so badly, I hung on because of all of you! :) You girls pushed me when I stopped and I just want you all to know that I love you all okay! :D 4DARLINGS!
Ha ha ha anyway I believe certain people has to treat me to ice cream/meals/drinks now! :P
*

On Monday, I managed to catch License to Wed! :D It was amazing, a perfect romance comedy to cheer all of us up before Prelims ha ha. It also sort of shows how fragile a relationship actually is and that you have to really understand/love each other wholeheartedly in order to keep this relationship. Give and take, you know!

Rush Hour 3 last Friday was absolutely hilarious! Chris Tucker is the bomb, he's so funny that my stomach hurt so bad even after the movie ended. Even though the plot was lousy, I think the clownish antics made up for it. :D Laughter is the best medicine!

I'm currently bankrupt, but I promise to clear all my debts! :X

Knock Knock
My brother just reminded me that there are only 3 weeks left to the Prelims. Of all people, my brother?!
My life's so boring too now so don't expect anything exciting for the time being. Yawn.

I Love
♥ Adeline
♥ Eunice
For running with me today and never giving up on me even though I'd probably let both of you down
♥ Ying Qian
♥ Faustina
For waiting for me after my oral even though I didn't answer your calls
*

I caught the Secret/不能说的秘密 on Monday and it was such a touching movie! I loved the music and the piano playing, the uniforms they wear (I wish ours were like that! I blame the weather) and of course their relationship. :D Sort of tear-jerking towards the end too.
Anyway the week was just full of tests, which isn't very eventful. We had English Oral O's today though, and I hope I talked well enough for them to give me an A1 ha ha ha.

Bye Losers!

Yesterday was really amusing because I started laughing when I see people wearing red at the bus stops on the way to school. Anyway we were dismissed at 10 so I went to watch the Simpsons with the sisters! :) The Grand Cathay is so posh and we bought couple seats hee hee. We're probably the only female-female couples on couple seats, everybody else were busy touching their significant other ha. I actually took off my shoes (so did Eunice! :D) and snuggled on the seat! It was that comfortable. :)
Anyway the Simpsons Movie is very very funny! Gosh I started laughing within the first minute of the movie so you can totally imagine how hard my stomach had hurt after the show. :D I cannot stand Homer and Bart they made me laugh so bad! We all loved it! :)
Now we have countless inside jokes and stuff within ourselves! ;) Us sisters have penthouses and balconies instead of basements and the Houston firefighters need to come and put the fires out on them ha ha ha! I love my sisters!
Anyway thanks Nuer! :D Love.

Unbelievable
I'm still shocked about the bridge collapse in Minnesota. It's one of my nightmares, along with planes crashes/hijacks and having no money to spend.
Hamilton won yesterday's F1 grand prix at Hungary because of Alonso's penalty! :( I was hoping so much for Kimi to overtake, but the track is really hard to do so. :( :( :(
There are so many things that I want to do but I can't!
+ I'm watching the Simpsons on Wednesday!
+ There's no school on Thursday and Friday
- Cashback's M18 rating
Today's English was very fun! My microphone was faulty so I didn't have to record anything, and I ended up listening to other people's recordings instead. It was hilarious because they reversed/echoed/increased the speed of/decreased the speed of the recordings and they sounded bloody stupid and amusing ha ha ha!
Oh and I demand every Secondary 4 to go to prom! Please?
Missus Lam's Quotes: 喂喂喂,小朋友! Stuuuuuudents! Where is your yellow book?

Food Gives You Satisfaction
I felt very happy after second recess today because even though I ate so much, the feeling of satisfaction was so good! You know, that feeling that makes you just want to rub your stomach ha ha ha. :D When this feeling wears off I'll probably start moaning instead but we'll focus on the happy stuff for now!

Just For Laughs
Me: What word starts with 'E'?
Yeqin: Idiot.
I need to keep tabs on my expenditure but partly why I wouldn't do it is because I'm afraid of the sums. :(

What Memory?
I think my memory's screwed. We just took the Acids, Bases and Salts test on Friday and I totally forgot about that. In fact, I didn't really care when I left my Chemistry textbook in school because I thought that the test this week is on, well, Acids, Bases and Salts, when it actually consists of 5 other chapters. D:< So, yeah. I'm screwed.
The school should just stop the tests already! :(
After school I initially wanted to find those iron on letters but I didn't. Amazingly I met Siying! :D Gosh, I was so surprised. Partly because my back was facing her (I was ogling the Simpsons shirts in Bossini ha ha ha) and because I haven't seen in many many days and weeks and months! So that was a pleasant surprise, nevertheless.
Anyway everyone should sign up for Facebook because it's so much more fun than Friendster, really. :D

I Am Noble
Jolene is Love says:
i clocked like 21 minutes for 2.4km today
so embarassing
W says:
ok lahhhhhh
it's not horrendous
you're just being nice
ok- look at it this way,
if youdidn't choose to be last,
some other real loser would've turned out last and would've been reallllly sad
you were kind- you went slow, and "lost" for that person because you know you can handle these things better

Failure
Yes, I failed 2.4. At least I'm only last in class and not the whole level. Isn't it expected? No, I'm not going for the rerun. Even if I were to start training my non-existent stamina, it's not enough to make it in time for the rerun. I could be studying or something, ha ha ha.
My emotions aren't unlike a pendulum these days, it's very annoying actually.
I still don't know where to buy iron on letters.
+ The Physics test wasn't as difficult as I'd anticipated it to be
- Failed 2.4
- Failed Geography
- Screwed up Integration
- Knocked Up's M18 rating
Oh wow you know you had an amazing day when the cons outweigh the pro(s) by 4 times.

2.4 IS TOMORROW
OKAY THE 2.4 IS TOMORROW AND I HAVE A PROPHECY TO MAKE.
I AM GOING TO FAIL. :( I really don't want to run.
Siriusly.
I'd suddenly feel very Harry Potter-ish hence the puns all over this post. I also feel like making some Harry Potter shirts but I don't have the materials, which makes me sad. Does anyone know where to buy iron-on letters?
I also just found out today that there are Physics and A Math tests tomorrow. Tomorrow would be a bloody horrible day.

Nurburgring European Grand Prix and Transformers!
Yesterday's F1 European Grand Prix in Germany was just awesome! Really, it was beyond words. The starting of the race was so thrilling with the rain and everything, I think all my neighbours could hear my screams and shrieks as I watched the race. The most amazing thing is that because of the restart and the rain, the race was dragged on for over 2 hours! :D
Anyway, I was so sad when Kimi's car broke down! :( He always has the bad luck, it's getting to the point of beyond infuriating. It's a wonder he still stays so calm in front of the cameras, but it's definitely no wonder how he got his 'Iceman' tag. Debutant Winkelhock even managed to lead his first grand prix! :D On his home ground, nonetheless. Heidfeld scored points on his home ground too! The numerous battles during the race were really entertaining and even after the race, Alonso and Massa were arguing, no doubt about that overtaking manoeuvre. Also, congratulations to Mark Webber who stood on the podium for third! :D DC also managed to finish fifth and this is probably the greatest race for Red Bull ever, what with both drivers within championship points. DC's one of my favourite drivers ever since I watched him race for McLaren in like what, 2000 or 2001? Oh, and Mika Hakkinen! I was so sad when he retired from F1. I think I like Finns. :)
I love love love love love Formula 1! Hee. In case you can't tell.

Winkelhock leading the European Grand Prix!

Alonso overtook Massa after their cars touched!

Kimi's Ferrari! :)

Kimi! :D

Mark Webber!

Order Of The Phoenix!

So on Friday us Asian Freaks went out to Orchard Road to do our favourite activity whilst in UK (besides shopping) and to also watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! I loved the movie even though it's a tad short for me because it's so fast-paced. The actresses for both Bellatrix and Luna are excellent and I loved them! Hermione and Ron desperately need to make out before the sexual tension explodes though. Oh and the movie was set in London too so I could actually recognise some places in it ha ha! :D I so cannot wait for the last book to come out!
There's also this amazing poster in Cineleisure of Harry and company in robes and I so want that poster! I also want a Hogwarts sweater. I seem to want many things now. :(

13 July 2007! :D Absolutely fun day with the girls hee hee. CHECK IT OUT! ♥
Anyway, everyone must see the post below this too okay! If you don't already know, those are only the photos of London. There's still Stratford-upon-Avon, Edinburgh and Lake District! :D
