Goodbye O's 2006!

Yay the O's are over! For this year only though. Ate lots at Pizza Hut until we had to takeaway, ha ha! Food is medicine for the soul.

Bro got this really high fever today suddenly, it's quite scary how he gets sick just like that. Shows how important your health is. Everybody please take care!

There's bridging tomorrow. :( Thinking of it makes me want to hit something really bad. What if I get a horrible teacher?

Exams :(

So I sat for my theory exam yesterday. :X Stoned for 3 hours in a horribly cold room puzzling over which note to write and deciphering scores. I sincerely believe I will fail. Oh, and I met Gigi there! :D So coincidential, but we weren't in the same room. :(

Chinese O Levels tomorrow. I'm very very nervous and scared, I need to score a B. I used to score A's in chinese back in primary school, wish I could get that grade now instead of a just-pass. Practising cloze passages now- hope that it'd be of use!

Reports Must Die

When Bro showed me his report book, I felt so inferior. He scored 5 A's and only 2 C's (both are forgivable, one is chinese, the other art), the rest are B's.

Mom came home first yesterday, and just lectured a little about my results. I guess she didn't have anything to say to Bro. I think Papa's kind of expectant about our results, but I told him to look at mine first because Bro's better, ha ha ha. Mytian, he didn't say anything, he just looked at everything then praised Bro for the A's and congratulated him for passing art! Both kind of overlook the 2 underlines in my report so I was really relieved. Yay. :) Mom's pleased with the idea of bridging too.

Oh, and Bon Voyage to Erzi who's going to Beijing probably right now! :D I'm waiting for my present okay, ha ha ha. And yes, I will study and get >10 points for you to see. :)

Goodbye School 2006!

School's out! Do you feel the supposed joy that's supposed to come with this day? Because I kind of don't. Because:

1. I'm down for Higher Chinese bridging
2. I'm deathly afraid of my parents. :(
   

Anyway, we had the foodfair thing yesterday. Sad to say I didn't really help out, I know it's kind of mean of me but I wouldn't be much of a help anyway (more cooks spoil the broth, so they say) so I'd rather stay in class to play truth or bingo ha ha ha.

Went to the library just now to borrow the Chinese book required for our holiday reading, and yay, I've finished reading 2 of the books recently needed for English, so that's pretty much settled. Tons of homework to do over the holidays though, it's just suffocating. :\

I've made up my mind to study and actually do my work during the holidays this time! Perseverence. :)

School 2006 is gone in a flash, just like that. Is it me or did the year just fly past? I don't remember Secondary Two or One being this quick, but I guess 2007 would even be faster because of the O's. Time is running out. My academic year isn't over yet though, I still have my theory exam on Saturday, Normal Chinese O's on Monday and the Higher Chinese re-exam on the twentieth. Crap. :( :( :(

Off to face the music parents, wish me luck and I plead the big guy on top to help me survive the confrontation.

Jigsaw Love

A 1000 piece jigsaw in making! :D Bro and I managed to persuade parents to buy it ha ha ha! It turns out that Mommy has a fetish for doing jigsaws so she's currently doing the sky. It will look so pretty when it's done, then it'll be framed and hung up! Yay! :D :D

Anyway we went to the Discovery Centre today, and it was so dumb. I just went around fooling with the exhibits. The coolest thing is the 3D show, we managed to get seats right on top. :D The stupid thing was so bloody real until I couldn't stop myself from trying to touch it!

The bus ride back to school was love, Ys kept supplying us with dirtayyy jokes and horror stories and I was both laughing and spooked out at the same time! Soap dipenser! ;)

I've just finished watching So You Think You Can Dance 2. :) It's one of my favourite reality shows ever! If Singapore really starts a similiar show it'd be a big joke compared to this. my favourite couples are Natalie and Musa, Allison and Ivan, and Donyelle and Benji. :)

I Want Time To Stand Still

I look so nerdy in Kindergarden. :( Can you believe it, I'm the only kid there wearing glasses?

Oh, I met Hengxin's mother in Century Square yesterday but I couldn't recognise her anymore- but she called my name! She recognises me after 9 freaking years! :\

It only sinks in now that it's the end of Secondary Three, soon I'd be a Secondary Four and start mugging for the O's already. Cliche much, but time flies. Fast. In a blink of an eye or quicker. I'm so not ready!

I want to go back to kindergarden and colour pictures. :)

Pig couldn't find her Gong VCD. :( Oh, and I want the High School Musical DVD! We shall go to Pig's house for the evil television marathon, and further ruin my eyes, yay!

Oh and the brightest note of all- I passed chinese overall! :D Congratulations to myself, thanks to the big guy on top and no thanks to that chinese teacher.

大家都应该知道，我的华语没有及格，所以今天就决定用华语来blog. 希望会有帮助。

弟弟的朋友借我'High School Musical'的光碟，今天就合美欣看。我觉得这套戏很好看，虽然已经很老了，但因为我没有disney频道所以现在才能看。我认为男主角很帅，而女主角很漂亮。他们唱歌也很好听，十分动人。

我觉得我的华语老师很没用。大家应该同意我的意见。

因为明天需要参加无聊的中四毕业典礼，所以我就在这里停了，再见。

My results screw. I don't know what I'd do if I failed chinese overall. I feel like cursing and yelling and throwing juvenile tantrums but that wouldn't change much would they?

Anyway, I have deduced two reasons why my Chinese sucks so much.

1. Myself. I slack too much, and the only Chinese I read is on television and my text. I didn't make the effort. :(
2. Tan Ik Ching. I don't know if he's a good person, and honestly, I don't care, but he's undoubtedly a horrible teacher. Heck that he was once a great teacher, he sure isn't one now. No one listens in his class, and instead of punishing us like he should, he laments to us. When Pig and Faus asked him to help me pass, he actually said '教顺，教顺' and walked away! I've never wanted to slap anyone so badly.
   

So it's pretty obvious that I failed Chinese already huh? Yes I'm disappointed. If you think I'm nonchalant about it you're pretty dumb and dense.

On the other hand, I detest people who claim they didn't study anything and moan that they'd fail simply everything, yet they score A's and B's for their finals. Hypocrites! D:

Like finally, my academic torture of the year finally ended on Wednesday at approximately 9.50am. Whooooo! :D :D Pig, Faus and I wanted to go to Marina Square, and we changed the movie date to a Kbox date ha ha ha! We also managed to persuade Meiyan to go with us and she did! :)

So before we went to Marina, we stopped by at the playground near the school and played on the swings. :D I love the swings! When we finally finished playing my shoes were all filled with sand. I miss my childhood.

Yay then it's off to Marina! Met Ys and Ben ha ha ha. We shopped tons before going to Pizza hut. Yum, My and I ate tons (part of pig's share too, can you imagine that?) of pizza. :D Oh and gosh, Marina's service is reallyyy good. My and I were wearing our jackets because we were kind of feeling a tad cold, and the waitress served us a while later with hot water! So sweeeeeet! :) I think we didn't expect this kind of hospitality so I was stunned while she serve us the water. And we kept chatting during the meal, I love talking! :D

Okay so after our meal we went to Kbox! I applied for the membership card so we got a discount. (Must save moolah!) Sang for 3 hours straight (宝贝对不起，不是不疼你) then went home for dinner with family.

Then I spent my Thursday sleeping and playing Kongkong with Pig and My. I'm already level 21. :)

Anyway, results for now-

The thrill of exams being over is so temporary when I remember that this cycle is just going to repeat next year. :(
