Last Week Of 2006

I spent the first few hours of my Christmas watching corny movies on television and texting Kevin on how utterly boring both our Christmases would be. I slept for the rest of the day and that was pretty much. :(

Bro and I watched Eragon on Boxing Day and I thought it was quite alright, even though it reminds me horribly of Harry Potter. Eragon's 6 years older than Harry when he found out he has to save the world though, but he seems a little more immature. I think the book would be better, but I didn't manage to read it yet. Bro couldn't understand the movie anyway.

I was down for photo duty during CCA orientation but luckily there were ♥ to accompany me. Anyway, CCA orientation was exactly the same as last year, just with different people. I should know, I took the photos last year too. Managed to see Nuer though! :D

So after orientation, we went to Cineleisure to watch Death Note 2: The Last Name! :D :D Had a quick lunch because I wanted to see PCBunk, and we rushed back later for the movie, which was fabulous by the way. Oh, and I hate Light, he's just not human anymore. He's obsessed about being a god in his new world which is just freaky! I cried when L pseudo-died and when Light wrote his father's name in the Death Note though. :(

The movie's really good food for thought. I understand Light wanting a criminal-free world, but I hated him when he killed his girlfriend in Death Note so I'm probably biased against him. I think the only person he really cared for, besides his girlfriend (you can't really tell), is his sister. Which is a good thing, because it shows he has some humanity in him after all. Yes, I'm still biased against him, even though he's relatively attractive! >:@

On the other hand, I love L! :D He's really intelligent and I thought he would die before Light. It's really sad that he wrote his own name in the Death Note in the end though. It was absolutely funny when he wore that mask and stole Misa's phone. :P He's so cute too! So go catch it now, seriously!

Eugene texted me later about their national exam results, and both he and Kevin got straight A's! :D I love you guys and congratulations! :D :D It's my turn next year though. :(

Rain, Rain, Go Away

It's been raining the whole day and it's so cold. :(

My came over in the afternoon for the newspapers and we gossiped a little about the usual before she left. Luckily there was some kind of entertainment for the day or I'd die of boredom because of the rain.

My Feet Are Happy!

I've finally managed to watch Happy Feet and Casino Royale. Yay for myself!

Well, I loved Happy Feet but Bro was yawning throughout the movie for some strange reason. It was probably too deep for him. :D I didn't dare to watch some parts of Casino Royale though but Daniel Craig isn't as ugly as some people make him out to be. I thought his acting was better than Pierce Brosnan.

I hate the irregular rain! Because I'm simply too lazy to close or open the windows, I leave them closed all day. :D

Oh, can someone please fix my computer? It doesn't switch on despite that the CPU and monitor emits light. I think it's a motherboard problem but I don't know how to fix it! I could care less about that old junk and hope for a new and hopefully, faster computer, but my entire music collection is inside that junk so I'm pissed! :@ Damn thing.

Someone go shopping with me! And I still want a chauffeur.

Hello, I'm Bored

Boredom kills. :( I want to go out but I'm too lazy to take public transport. I need a chauffeur. :D

Faus came over to my house on Monday and we had a good chat. Thanks to her and Pig for caring. when I got sick. :D

My life is so boring, so that's all for now.

Back In Singapore

Genting was okay. We left at around 8 on Tuesday and took the cable car up, which was really cool. It's horribly cold there too so everyone got sick at one point or another. Bro, Eugene and I sat on the Flying Coaster and we totally screamed our lungs out! Such fun. :D

Tried out archery and I shot the neighbour's target 2 times. Hey, I'm a archery virgin okay. :) My first time was quite alright though, at least I didn't hit the wall like someone.

Had dinner at the lousiest restaurant ever, Eugene and I left a complaint letter written with chili on the their serviette, which consisted of 3 words. 'Your food sucks'.

At night my parents and uncle went to the casino so we bought some muffins back to the hotel. Then we started gossiping about everything while watching serials on television. I love Malaysian TV, their English shows are so much better than ours. Turns out Eugene's a sucker for gossip. :D

Left Genting yesterday and went to visit grandparents as usual. Eavesdropped on adults talk and found out a lot of stuff which I suspect we shouldn't really know. :/ Nikki and I pretended to sleep while we eavesdropped even more on the car ride home later. Eugene, that pig, really fell asleep.

Nikki and I had a really good chat at night, and we literally talked the night away. Chatted about everything, gossiped about everyone and shared about everything and everyone. We would have chatted the morning away if Eugene hadn't miraculously pointed the time to us and the fact that I have to wake up at an unearthly time to leave. :(

Oh, and we got interrupted halfway by this huge flying cockroach, so we got Eugene to kill it while I play/ruin his Gunbound game. He sprayed it until it rolled under the piano and never came out.

Left really early this morning, didn't get to meet Kevin who wanted to meet for breakfast. :(

Anyhow, this trip was really memorable. The talk made me think a lot, about our family problems and all that complicating crap we're facing now.

Can't wait to get back! I love all of you.

Third Day In Malaysia

When I said I was going to sleep yesterday, I actually ended up watching Eugene play Gunbound. Ha ha ha.

Today was good, we went to Midvalley Megamall and bought clothes. Lunched at Little Penang before visiting grandparents again. Went to Giant to buy Eugene's camping stuffs and food for tomorrow's trip, then ate at this Hong Kong style restaurant before going home.

So we're going to Genting tomorrow so I won't be online. Text me! :D

First 2 Days In Malaysia

I'm blogging all the way from Malaysia! Okay, not exactly very far but that doesn't really matter. You know my memory is like trash, so I'm blogging now in case I forget what happened, ha ha ha.

So we reached here at around 1pm yesterday because we were stuck for an hour at immigration. Went to visit grandparents before eating a steamboat dinner with Uncle Andrew's family. Played mahjong before sleeping.

Today we went to Ikea, which smells really nice because it smells of wood. I must sound weird now because I'm admitting to everybody that wood smells nice. They had those cute little pencils (I took 5 of them) and we ate at Ikea too. They had these Swedish meatballs which taste really good, but were quite filling. Oh, and we met Auntie Ann for lunch too.

Went to see grandparents again before going for a steamed fish dinner. The food was great but my table couldn't finish so we had quite a lot of leftovers. Uncle Steven and Auntie Anne passed us this fruit which smells and looks exactly like jackfruit (but isn't) to eat, and I have no idea how to pronounce nor spell its name. They came over later at night with Derrick Ki-yun. So far I've met almost everybody already. Almost.

Uncle Andrew opened this bottle of Ice Wine and it tasted nice. Everybody drank and the alcohol hasn't start its effect on me yet. Yay for my high alcohol tolerance! :D

I'm still going to sleep anyway. :D

PSLE

So last Thursday was the release of PSLE results. Yay for Nu er who got 250 and is coming to my school! :D Hope you get to learn your Japanese. ;)

My relatives from Malaysia stayed a night and my baby cousin is so adorable. He calls me 姐姐 and wanted me to follow them back to Malaysia. So irresistibly cute! Oh, and speaking of Malaysia, I'll be going there next week. I think we'd be visiting grandparents and relatives, and maybe shop a little, or a lot. Heh heh heh.

About the Nokia commercial I was talking about earlier, I'm really really really sure that Tom Felton's in it.

I think Rob-B-Hood is quite nice! It's very touching and all that.

Re-exam Was A Pain In The Neck

I know everybody is concerned about my re-exam. :D Anyway, it was the same paper as the finals. This is a emoticon of what my facial expression probably looked like: X.X. I filled in all the 造句 blanks and some 填写汉字 blanks this time. The passages seemed a little easier to me this time but I really hope I can pass, because it'd be horribly bad if I didn't.

I can't believe Aleksandra's out of So You Think You Can Dance! :( And I swear they cut off Natalie and Musa's routine because I didn't recall seeing them dance at all. Oh, and yesterday, I stayed up to watch The OC and CSI because I couldn't sleep, then today I watched Project Runway and some Taiwanese show about what girls don't like to hear from guys when they're in a romantical relationship- the basic do's and don't's. I like The OC, but it's screened only once a week, which really sucks.

Anyway, there's this Nokia commercial (I'd forgot which model was it) where the people in it are all hearing music through earphones connecting to the phone, and the OST is Daft Punk's Digital Love. Is it me, or is one of the people in the commercial Tom Felton? (Draco Malfoy) I swear it's him, or his twin or something. Does anyone know if you can view the commercial online?

I've been playing Audition lately, it's pretty fun actually.

Re-exam Is A Pain In The Neck

Returned to TNPS with Pig on Friday which kind of wasted my time actually, to attend our ex-principal's farewell ceremony. It was quite lavish, I bet when our current principal has her farewell ceremony it'd be more lavish, but for the wrong reasons. :D

My Higher Chinese re-exam is tomorrow and I'm certainly not thrilled. :( I have no idea what to study, mostly because the teacher has no idea what to study either. I can't believe they didn't tell us what to study, what, am I supposed to study the whole book? It's illogical and a waste of time! It's also wasting money, because time is money. School's a bitch.

Fine.

So I'm lazy, but the above is almost a hundred percent why I didn't study, okay!

Step Up!

So I've finally gone to watch Step Up! It's a great movie, in my opinion. I didn't know Channing Tatum could dance, I guess you can learn almost anything. Oh and yes, he's hot and sexy and droolworthy! Anyway, you should really go catch it because it's not just a movie about dancing, it has those hidden values behind the plot too.

Pig and I dropped by the library too and there were these science centre exhibits put up at the lobby. We managed to find out what's the secret behind one of the exhibits, like what an achievement. Anyway, the computer is able to guess the number you chose when you pick the card which has your number on it.

Now I sound like a nerd.

Don't Stop Me From Crying!

Why do people cry when they are sad? I'm asking this in a logical sense, and not emotionally.

Firstly, it's normal and perfectly logical. Crying is your body's way to release the stress you're feeling because of your emotions. It releases hormones in your brain which makes you feel better, and simultaneously releases the pressure you feel because of emotions physically. That's why your tears taste salty- it's the hormones. :D In addition, it also cleans your eyes. Therefore, crying isn't a waste of time as some people feel inclined to wrongly think so. :)

So maybe I'm finding an excuse because I seem to cry way too much this year.

Damn You Reroofing Works

I cannot stand the reroofing works anymore! :@ That's the problem when you live on the twelfth storey, you get the blunt of reroofing works. It's a great excuse to get out of the house though. :D

Accompanied pig for her haircut today and we bought macs takeout on her tab, ha ha ha.

Yay, I managed to catch today's So You Think You Can Dance! :D I expected Joy and one of the black guys to be out, so not much surprise there. I think Mia's a much better judge than the other one last week though.

Oh, and I think I'm the only one who watches the Chalice Fairy on Channel 8 instead of Gong. That show's so sweet, the fairy gave up her immortal status to be with the mortal. :( It's kind of like giving up your limbs to your loved one. :( :( One thing I hate about the show though, is that the bad guy never dies, which is so irritating! This just proves the evil people will not be eliminated so easily, which is such a pity.

I still need money! I hate being cashless, I almost wish that I was working. :P Maybe if i wait patiently the skies would reward me by dropping a platinum credit card or something alike. :D :D

I Love Haircuts!

Went for my haircut today! :D It was a rather spontaneous decision though, but I'm so happy because I finally cut my hair. :D :D :D In case you haven't figure it out, I have a fetish for haircuts.

Mom and I went shopping yesterday and christmas songs were playing in the malls already. It's all those versions where someone else tries to sing it in a classic manner and you wouldn't know it's a christmas song until you hear 'christmas', 'santa', 'snowing', 'presents' and the like, which is really annoying.

Covenant Is Love!

Yay there is no bridging for a week! :D Re exam's on the 20th though, hope I can pass it this time.

Went to Bugis with Pig and Debby on Tuesday to watch the Covenant! It was quite good, despite the admittedly not-so-good ending. Loads of eye candy in that movie! :D Reid Reid Reid Reid Reid! :D :D

Managed to drag Debbiy to eat pasta. I couldn't stand the heat of Bugis Street so we went up instead and bought a couple of stuff.

Was late for bridging by 15 minutes yesterday. The teacher didn't really do her job so I guess I should have just skipped it entirely.

After bridging I met Nuer and Sy and we went to watch Deathnote again ha ha ha. Nuer treated me. :D Even though this was my second time watching it, I still cried when Shiori died. :(

I'm on the road to recovery from the flu. Yay! :D

Because Papa was the one who passed the flu to me in the first place, he took leave today to skip work and gave me a lift to school for bridging! Basically for today's lesson, we went over the formal letter format. Oh, and the teacher informed us that we'd probably get the same chinese teachers next year and I immediately shouted 'HUH?!' So embarassing. :(

Faus and I then went to catch the Prestige! :D Gosh that movie is great, but I admit I didn't really understand some of the parts until the end. Very thought-provoking movie so do catch it!

华文不喜欢我

刚才我仔细地看成绩册，突然算出华文分数，原来只得到49.75分。还算他们有心，在成绩册上写50分。当我发现后，也没觉得太惊讶，我跟华文看来不会当好朋友了。

星期一和三又需要回学校补华文，其实我并没有反对这个主意，但原来在这一个小时之内只go over报章报道。真浪费时间。我的作文及格，是考试卷二不及格。

华文字很难type, 所以在这里搁keyboard. 再见。

Deathnote!

Higher Chinese bridging started at an unearthly time of 9. :( Then the bus to the interchange refused to come, so I was late. Anyway it was kind of okay, Ye Lao Shi was surprisingly genial so bridging was tolerable. After that, Ade and i went to tampines to meet Pig and we brunched unhealthily at KFC, gossiped and played bingo before Ade left for her Chiang Rai briefing. Pig and I then shopped awhile at Tampines Mall when we saw someone far away who looked eerily like Ws! So I rang him, and it really was him ha ha! :D

Then we couldn't contact Nuer (thanks Marcus for helping though! :D :D) so we just went ahead to watch Death Note. Mytian, that movie rocks. :D :D Excellent plot and cute guys wheeee! I cried when Shiori died though. :( That part was very heart-wrenching. I can't wait for Death Note 2, a definite must-watch! :D

After the movie we met my and went to Watsons and NTUC. For some strange reason I love going to those places. Pig managed to buy alcohol at NTUC, which shows that the cashier auntie so does need glasses badly!

Goodbye O's 2006!

Yay the O's are over! For this year only though. Ate lots at Pizza Hut until we had to takeaway, ha ha! Food is medicine for the soul.

Bro got this really high fever today suddenly, it's quite scary how he gets sick just like that. Shows how important your health is. Everybody please take care!

There's bridging tomorrow. :( Thinking of it makes me want to hit something really bad. What if I get a horrible teacher?

So I sat for my theory exam yesterday. :X Stoned for 3 hours in a horribly cold room puzzling over which note to write and deciphering scores. I sincerely believe I will fail. Oh, and I met Gigi there! :D So coincidential, but we weren't in the same room. :(

Chinese O Levels tomorrow. I'm very very nervous and scared, I need to score a B. I used to score A's in chinese back in primary school, wish I could get that grade now instead of a just-pass. Practising cloze passages now- hope that it'd be of use!

Reports Must Die

When Bro showed me his report book, I felt so inferior. He scored 5 A's and only 2 C's (both are forgivable, one is chinese, the other art), the rest are B's.

Mom came home first yesterday, and just lectured a little about my results. I guess she didn't have anything to say to Bro. I think Papa's kind of expectant about our results, but I told him to look at mine first because Bro's better, ha ha ha. Mytian, he didn't say anything, he just looked at everything then praised Bro for the A's and congratulated him for passing art! Both kind of overlook the 2 underlines in my report so I was really relieved. Yay. :) Mom's pleased with the idea of bridging too.

Oh, and Bon Voyage to Erzi who's going to Beijing probably right now! :D I'm waiting for my present okay, ha ha ha. And yes, I will study and get >10 points for you to see. :)

Goodbye School 2006!

School's out! Do you feel the supposed joy that's supposed to come with this day? Because I kind of don't. Because:

1. I'm down for Higher Chinese bridging
2. I'm deathly afraid of my parents. :(
   

Anyway, we had the foodfair thing yesterday. Sad to say I didn't really help out, I know it's kind of mean of me but I wouldn't be much of a help anyway (more cooks spoil the broth, so they say) so I'd rather stay in class to play truth or bingo ha ha ha.

Went to the library just now to borrow the Chinese book required for our holiday reading, and yay, I've finished reading 2 of the books recently needed for English, so that's pretty much settled. Tons of homework to do over the holidays though, it's just suffocating. :\

I've made up my mind to study and actually do my work during the holidays this time! Perseverence. :)

School 2006 is gone in a flash, just like that. Is it me or did the year just fly past? I don't remember Secondary Two or One being this quick, but I guess 2007 would even be faster because of the O's. Time is running out. My academic year isn't over yet though, I still have my theory exam on Saturday, Normal Chinese O's on Monday and the Higher Chinese re-exam on the twentieth. Crap. :( :( :(

Off to face the music parents, wish me luck and I plead the big guy on top to help me survive the confrontation.

Jigsaw Love

A 1000 piece jigsaw in making! :D Bro and I managed to persuade parents to buy it ha ha ha! It turns out that Mommy has a fetish for doing jigsaws so she's currently doing the sky. It will look so pretty when it's done, then it'll be framed and hung up! Yay! :D :D

Anyway we went to the Discovery Centre today, and it was so dumb. I just went around fooling with the exhibits. The coolest thing is the 3D show, we managed to get seats right on top. :D The stupid thing was so bloody real until I couldn't stop myself from trying to touch it!

The bus ride back to school was love, Ys kept supplying us with dirtayyy jokes and horror stories and I was both laughing and spooked out at the same time! Soap dipenser! ;)

I've just finished watching So You Think You Can Dance 2. :) It's one of my favourite reality shows ever! If Singapore really starts a similiar show it'd be a big joke compared to this. my favourite couples are Natalie and Musa, Allison and Ivan, and Donyelle and Benji. :)

I Want Time To Stand Still

I look so nerdy in Kindergarden. :( Can you believe it, I'm the only kid there wearing glasses?

Oh, I met Hengxin's mother in Century Square yesterday but I couldn't recognise her anymore- but she called my name! She recognises me after 9 freaking years! :\

It only sinks in now that it's the end of Secondary Three, soon I'd be a Secondary Four and start mugging for the O's already. Cliche much, but time flies. Fast. In a blink of an eye or quicker. I'm so not ready!

I want to go back to kindergarden and colour pictures. :)

Pig couldn't find her Gong VCD. :( Oh, and I want the High School Musical DVD! We shall go to Pig's house for the evil television marathon, and further ruin my eyes, yay!

Oh and the brightest note of all- I passed chinese overall! :D Congratulations to myself, thanks to the big guy on top and no thanks to that chinese teacher.

大家都应该知道，我的华语没有及格，所以今天就决定用华语来blog. 希望会有帮助。

弟弟的朋友借我'High School Musical'的光碟，今天就合美欣看。我觉得这套戏很好看，虽然已经很老了，但因为我没有disney频道所以现在才能看。我认为男主角很帅，而女主角很漂亮。他们唱歌也很好听，十分动人。

我觉得我的华语老师很没用。大家应该同意我的意见。

因为明天需要参加无聊的中四毕业典礼，所以我就在这里停了，再见。

My results screw. I don't know what I'd do if I failed chinese overall. I feel like cursing and yelling and throwing juvenile tantrums but that wouldn't change much would they?

Anyway, I have deduced two reasons why my Chinese sucks so much.

1. Myself. I slack too much, and the only Chinese I read is on television and my text. I didn't make the effort. :(
2. Tan Ik Ching. I don't know if he's a good person, and honestly, I don't care, but he's undoubtedly a horrible teacher. Heck that he was once a great teacher, he sure isn't one now. No one listens in his class, and instead of punishing us like he should, he laments to us. When Pig and Faus asked him to help me pass, he actually said '教顺，教顺' and walked away! I've never wanted to slap anyone so badly.
   

So it's pretty obvious that I failed Chinese already huh? Yes I'm disappointed. If you think I'm nonchalant about it you're pretty dumb and dense.

On the other hand, I detest people who claim they didn't study anything and moan that they'd fail simply everything, yet they score A's and B's for their finals. Hypocrites! D:

Like finally, my academic torture of the year finally ended on Wednesday at approximately 9.50am. Whooooo! :D :D Pig, Faus and I wanted to go to Marina Square, and we changed the movie date to a Kbox date ha ha ha! We also managed to persuade Meiyan to go with us and she did! :)

So before we went to Marina, we stopped by at the playground near the school and played on the swings. :D I love the swings! When we finally finished playing my shoes were all filled with sand. I miss my childhood.

Yay then it's off to Marina! Met Ys and Ben ha ha ha. We shopped tons before going to Pizza hut. Yum, My and I ate tons (part of pig's share too, can you imagine that?) of pizza. :D Oh and gosh, Marina's service is reallyyy good. My and I were wearing our jackets because we were kind of feeling a tad cold, and the waitress served us a while later with hot water! So sweeeeeet! :) I think we didn't expect this kind of hospitality so I was stunned while she serve us the water. And we kept chatting during the meal, I love talking! :D

Okay so after our meal we went to Kbox! I applied for the membership card so we got a discount. (Must save moolah!) Sang for 3 hours straight (宝贝对不起，不是不疼你) then went home for dinner with family.

Then I spent my Thursday sleeping and playing Kongkong with Pig and My. I'm already level 21. :)

Aced the physics test! :D Quite the rare occurance. 5 more days to finals!

Went to Simpang yesterday to eat prata and buy a brain freeze. Took bus 10 to tampines after that and went to meet Papa and Mommy.

So we had our English orals today. I think I'm jinxed, by the time I got up everybody sat down and I was left with one chair near me- and the teacher there is Lily Koh. Again. For the second year running. I don't know what that spells, I just hope she doesn't fail me. Can you believe our class topic is snakes? I mean, what can you talk about snakes? :(

Yay I've managed to watch John Tucker Must Die! :) Caught it on Monday, too bad the ending sucks.

I passed my Chemistry test! :D

So Hady won Singapore Idol. :( How predictable, pleaseeee, if this competition is really judged by vocals, Mathilda would have won!

Yesterday in the morning, My let me hear this song- '听妈妈的话'. I set it on repeat for the whole morning ha ha ha. Then, CCP delivered the devotion later in Chinese and he sang that exact same song! Spooky.

My aircon leaked so I'm camping in Bro's room now until they fix the dratted thing.

Today Fred got his caning, and CCP started trying to act cool and scaaary with the cane when he spoke to us. It'd kind of worked if he manages to stop himself from smirking successfully, and gosh does his hairstyle sucks.

Tetris Is Fun!

The Fengshan Forum is horribly boring, I spent most of my time playing this tetris-like game on Stephie's phone and gazing at nothing. A group of panelists came to talk about Singapore being our dream home, and the people included Mr Teo Ser Luck, the drummer for Singapore Idol and some doctors or something.

Less than 2 weeks to finals already. :(

So we took the class photo today, for the second time ever I sat on the bench in front, because no one wants to.

I have to attend the Fengshan Forum thing tomorrow which means I'd have to wake up early.

Right now my life pretty much revolves around studying (supposedly), and it's so fatally boring that I may just do anything to stop it. Ugh! :(

Curiosity kills the cat, but it has 9 lives.

Bodily Injuries

I caught my finger at the door lock yesterday but it didn't bleed, so I thought it was okay. Today I was told it's a blood clot and it'd become a scab or something. I've also got 2 bruises on my forearms. :(

On a brighter note, I've finished studying Heat Capacity and Reflection! :)

On an even brighter note, we just got back the Chinese test and I've got 37/50! :D :D :D :D I know it's not very amazing but to me, it's a huge achievement. :)

I can really feel the stress now, everybody around me is studying and mugging crazily.

Ouch, My Head

So I skipped both CCA and piano on Friday because the Massive Migraine came back to haunt me just when I reached home.

I've been playing unhealthy amounts of Kongkong and reaching level 13 already ha ha ha. I tend to get addicted to cute games.

Oh, and there's Chemistry SPA and Physics test tomorrow. :( I hope I'd do well!

I will conquer the Finals, who wants to conquer them with me and make Bridging programme a complete and utter failure? :D

YAY JONATHAN AND HADY ARE IN THE FINALS! :D I'm happy. once they announced that Jasmine's out, Nuer and Sy texted me ha ha ha Nuer, you will lose the bet!

I think I can pass the Chinese test and Physics SPA went quite smoothly! Made a slight mistake at the end though, hope they won't penalise it too heavily.

Stayed back to do Math too, it was quite okay. Had KFC for dinner and crapped tons.

Just updated my iTunes! I like the new version, it's much prettier. :) I seem to have a fetish for blue (the colour) lately.

And School Beckons

School started today. :( Anyway there wasn't any Chinese test- it's on Thursday hahaha. Our Chemistry SPA is postponed to next week because the bosses had this talk for the whole of Secondary 3. Basically they just lectured us and try to inspire by using the 3 A's hahaha. Very enlightening, not.

After school, I went to watch The Devil Wears Prada! :D I thought it was a great show, definitely worth the ticket. I know I shouldn't be watching movies right now when finals are like, what, 23 days away? Anyhow, I managed to cover trigonometry identities just now though, and skimmed through the graphs, hopefully I won't have much problems in school. I detest graphs! :(

Oh, and we saw Gu* Ji* at century square with his girlfriend if I'm not wrong- they were hugging on the escalators and he fed her ice cream! Huge PDAs hahaha. A little scary!

This time we went back to visit grandparents, because my grandfather isn't in a very good condition now. He's senile and unable to recognise anyone at all, and is prone to bouts of violence during the night. He also has kidney problems. :(

September 2

Woke up at an unearthly time of 0530AM and reached Subang Jaya at 1130AM. As usual we stayed at Uncle Andrew's house. Had a Thai lunch then visited grandparents which, as I have said is the main aim of the trip. (I bet everyone thought I went there to shop)

Auntie Anne's family lives next door so we see her everyday when we visit grandparents. Had bak ku teh for dinner with her, Chi-mun and Ainee. Oh and Ainee is pregnant! :D It's a boy and the baby's expected to be born in January. Congratulations! :D We were discussing names and Chi-mun wants to name him Max. Ainee said she wants to name him Ian, which I thought was pretty nice! In the end Chi-mun said they will name him Maxian ha ha ha!

Went back and played mahjong! Yay fun fun fun. Halfway through mahjong, we ate durians! :D Gosh Malaysia's durians are damn nice, they're not too sweet and are bitter which is yum! After gorging myself we played mahjong again ha ha ha.

September 3

Woke up at another unearthly time of 9AM and got ready to go to Batu Caves. I can't believe of all places to go to, my brother wants to go to Batu Caves. He's seriously demented. In case you don't know, Batu Cave is kind of like a hill and you have to climb all the way. There is a total of 272 steps and yes I climbed up okay. Oh and there are monkeys all over the steps! :D They're so adorable and some of them even carry their babies ha ha ha.

Went to visit grandparents again and played mahjong with Auntie Anne this time. It's seriously hilarious because she doesn't have a proper table, so she just put a carrom table on a box and we all sat down and play. It was still fun though ha ha.

After that we went to Alamanda Mall which is at Putrajaya! Ate at Penang Village (Assam Laksa?) and shopped. Mom paid for some clothes, yay! We took a drive and saw all the ministry buildings - they're so majestic and beautiful. I wonder how much cash goes in to actually build all that.

Went to see the KL tower! It costs a tad lesser than 10 bucks to go up to the observatory tower and we can see almost everything from up there. The view's excellent and I managed to see Times Square (which is a sucky mall), Auntie Anne's office and Ki-yun's school.

After that we went back to see grandparents again. Went home after that and ate at this kopitiam. They have pretty alright food, it's sort of like the Coffee Bean.

Durians and mahjong before sleep again. :) I'm going to get fat.

September 4

Woke up to find out that Steve Irwin died because of a damned stingray? :( :( :( :( :(

Visited grandparents again! This time Uncle Cheng's family was at home (except Uncle Cheng himself, and Amanda) and we got to see Amos!!!! He's my super adorable little cousin who calls me Jialin jiejie. :D We played awhile with him then I went to sit on their swing. I want to have a swing in my house too!

This time we went to Midvalley Megamall to shop and eat! (Okay so I shopped a lot!) Yay I love Midvalley, I swear I'd go there again with someone else's cash! :D It's like Tampines Mall x10, maybe more. Ate at a Hong Kong restaurant I think. Tried their cheese baked rice which was awesome. Once again we went to see grandparents for the last time before we leave, and played again with Amos and got to see Amanda too. That girl's growing up so fast.

Vietnamese dinner with almost everybody later and gossiped with Nikki before sleeping! Talking so good, don't deprive me of talking ever!

This time I managed to see almost everyone except for Auntie Ann's family. Oh well!

Happy Teachers' Day!

So today we had Languages Paper 1. My exam nerves finally kicked in when we were in the canteen this morning grousing about letter formats and stomachaches. :(

I had to endure the cold and the rain and I sit under the damned fan which turns at full speed damn it. Had a 10 minute brain freeze because I didn't know which topic to write, so ended up writing the report first. I then finally decide to write 'Attitude', and I thought my story was quite okay ha ha ha.

Went to the canteen again to grab a bite before going back up to face impending doom, AKA the Chinese paper. I did the letter in 20 minutes, stoned for 10 minutes before choosing a topic and finished everything in an hour. Went to the toilet for 10 minutes then came back to the classroom and slept. :( Whatever.

Due to some misinformation from a certain dickhead, I didn't return to primary school. Then we found out about the misinformation, and Tabitha, Guo Rong and I rushed back to primary school ha ha ha. Didn't manage to see everyone though. :(

I've got my new glasses! :) They're just simple black frames, but getting new stuff is exciting.

Today we broke the Largest Human Wheelbarrow record to further commemorate our lovely school's 50th anniversary. (as if the Esplanade concert wasn't big enough) Once again I was the assigned photographer. It was amazingly boring.

Onto happier things now! After the race, we went to Marina and Suntec to celebrate Meiyan's birthday! :D

First we went to Pizza Hut for lunch! Being students, they gave us a discount of 8 dollars. :D This is one of the few benefits whilst suffering under the horrible education system.

So after lunch we went to watch Lovewrecked! I highly recommend this movie if chick flicks are your thing. :D I think Jonathan Bennett is quite cute, so he's my eye candy for that hour or so ha ha. Anyway, I kept thinking that he's very familiar, and now I realised he acted as Aaron in Mean Girls. I know, I'm slow!

We went to play at Toys R' Us too! I like the big neon-coloured balls that can bounce really high. They cost 3 dollars but it would be hard for me to carry a huge ball on the train all the way from City Hall to Tampines. Ohh, and malt candy is super addictive and I love it!

After reliving part of our childhood, they started to try their luck with those capsule machines which, in my opinion, cheat people's money. It's so proven when Koh Li Ming gotten 3 of the same toys in a row ha ha! :D Poor girl!

When I went home it was raining and so cold and dark. I almost lost my way home because I couldn't see 10 metres in front of me. :(

The only thing I'm still annoyed about is that I really want to get a new wallet but I haven't done so!

So there's Languages Paper 1 tomorrow. I suddenly got the exam nerves in the train but I kind of lost them again. I really hope that I'd do well and that I wouldn't get the formats wrong. Good luck everyone!

I'm extremely disappointed with my Emath. :( I just had to get a stomachache before the test, which lasted throughout the test. Just great. Fantastic. Awesome. Fabulous. Oh, and the reason why I'm super upset is because I left 3 blanks worth of 6 marks. :( :( :(

Lily Koh called me on my cell today whilst I was eating in Pasta Mania. Her voice sounds very young over the phone ha ha. It creeped me out though, I thought I was in trouble or something.

I'm getting my new glasses tomorrow! :D

i finally went for my haircut today! :D not much difference though if you don't look carefully. oh, and i bought new glasses! :D :D could only collect them on tuesday though. pig shall be the first to see them.

anyway, i just found out that mrs gan (my primary school teacher) told pig's sis that pig and i have to buy a big box of ferraro rocher for her because we ate 3/4 of hers the last time we went back. her memory is so good. :(

now i'm extremely worried about the literature assignment that we didn't hand up. because the guys are so pathetic, kh let's exclude them!

i just bought a big pack of yellow and transparent straws so i'm just going to do lots of hearts now, hahaha.

so i got 22/30 for amath and 25/35 for physics! haha both are A grades if i'm not wrong. which means i win 20 bucks from my mom. :D i'm a happy girl!

anyway singapore idol is so not a singing competition anymore. i can't believe joakim is still in! :( man if neither joakim nor jasmine gets out next week i won't watch it anymore. (i'm lying) hady sang so sincerely and nurul's voice is very crystalline and pure hahaha. oh and jonathan too!! it's him versus hady whoo.

skipped cca and went to eat kfc after school today. i found pig's physics text for her so she gave me kfc coupons lmao. OH THAT REMINDS ME I HAVEN'T PAY HER BACK MY SHARE OF THE MEAL. i hope she never sees this. :D hahaha so we gossiped talked a lot again and everything. :)

wanted to catch the super ex-girlfriend movie again but the hall screening it was downstairs, so we sneaked into another hall and watched click instead! CLICK ROCKS OKAY! :D whoo i love it, but i didn't manage to catch the ending. :(

i merely passed emath. :( 16/30. well, at least i didn't fail? oh and did i mention that the relief teacher who's currently taking our math lesson is a retard. he doesn't know how to teach at all and is a living and breathing reminder of miss tay hahaha! i wish chm would come back now instead of pretending to defend our country against non-existent enemies for the time being.

pig and i collected our ic's today. yay i feel like an adult already! :D soon i'd be watching nc-16 movies legally, getting a driving license and throwing my 21st birthday bash! time flies.

my super ex-girlfriend rocks okay! :D it's full of sexual humour LMAO but it's damn hilarious. so you must go watch it too! it has both kissing and sex and sexual jokes which made us laugh like crazy hahaha! oh and because the ex-girlfriend's a superhero, she flew the guy up with her and they actually had sex in air (SIA: singapore international airlines). :O won't spoiler much anymore- just watch it!!! :D :D

after the movie we went to the national library (yay it's one of my favourite places) and borrowed a couple of books. dearrr's card always get stuck so i used my magic fingers to help. :D when we went back to bugis we saw this hot caucasian hunk! my g/a/b/m, i wanted to go back and take another look but dearrr dragged me away. :( there goes my eye candy.

so dearrr accompanied me to tampines and we chatted about a certain topic which made me laugh again. this world is full of useless idiots! don't know why they're always almost male hahaha.

hello.

so we did cip yesterday after school at simei care centre. it was quite meaningful. :) we played a couple of games with the people and did contract work too. most of the people were really friendly and everything- i admit that i was kind of scared initially. the boss of the place gave us a tour later and the place is pretty nice- i like the environment, it's quiet and peaceful. oh, and there was this place with computers and they were playing maple! aha i was so amused. :D

after cip a bunch of us went to eat at eastpoint. almost got knocked down at the road because i couldn't see the car. :( felt really hungry at first but when i was eating halfway i suddenly felt very full. how strange. so we chatted quite a lot i guess. not bad.

oh and we took a bunch of photos during chinese today. :D it was super fun okay!

ESPLANADE CONCERT ON SUNDAY! tabs and i reached kind of early so we went to shop at marina before meeting the photo people. :D

i guess it's okay if you watch the concert once, but i watched it twice. :( so it was kind of boring the second time, and i sat so far behind so i couldn't see any faces. heh, i was supposed to take pictures of the rehearsals, but i spent most of my time sitting on the 100 bucks seat and got a kick out of seeing all the familiar faces on stage. :D

yay i loved the choir and band the most. :)

got lost at backstage several times lol. the backstage itself must be 10 times larger than the concert hall. the lift rocks, it's super huge and can carry up to 3000kg lmao.

MONDAY! went out with atm. got to eat pasta mania again even though i just ate it last week haha. :D oh and there's this dumb guy (waiter) in pasta mania who wears his pants super low (it's like below his ass?) and when he bends over just a little, you can see his boxers. as if that isn't bad enough, the boxers are checkered and are grey and brown? at least wear some cute cartoon boxers right? so no taste. :@

after eating pasta we watched PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN: dead man's chest. ohmytian i love that movie with all its eye candy. :D johnny depp and orlando bloom are hunks. :D :D keira knightley is beautiful. :D if you haven't watch yet, GO WATCH IT NOW.

i kind of wish i was cca-less. or that i joined another cca. it's a bit late now though.

it's official. will be taking the esplanade rehearsal photos on sunday- hope my photography skills won't disappoint the-royal-highnesses. if you really think i suck just send another person instead of me. don't waste my time. got a free 40dollar ticket though teehee. :D so i guess i'll be seeing the performances. :)

so today my and kh came to my house to complete part1 of the jigsaw puzzle. bought macs and bubble tea and pigged out on chocolate. i'm starting to regret already. :( we managed to complete quite a lot of the puzzle though. :D

these days i realised i'm quite nonchalant about most stuff. i just found out that if i can make myself not care about anything, or rather i'm probably too lazy to give a damn- yet i'm seem to be irritated easily. i'm tired of accusations and crap when other people just won't admit that they're wrong and turn the tables on me- everything's my fault in the end. you just don't understand.

mom woke me up at 10 today then family and i went out to marina square for lunch. bro skipped his taekwondo because of flu, so we could make it for lunch together. anyway it was kind of an early birthday lunch for him because parents weren't sure if they could make it on his birthday (august 2) itself. so we went to Lerk Thai Restaurant (i think it's on the second floor of marina) and the food is awesome! yay i loved it. they had excellent service too, the waiters are thai if i'm not wrong? they were amazingly polite and some of them are quite goodlooking tehehe. bro and i ate a lot (i didn't eat breakfast) but the bill totalled up to only 40 bucks in the end. quite worth it really. :D

went to suntec later to shop for bro's gift. mom wanted to get him an ipod (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and bro say he'd give me! :D pa kept saying bro's dumb and that i'd psycho-ed him to do so, but i swear i'd didn't. hahaha. he said he wouldn't mind my old player. maybe i'd buy earphones and a wallet for him, we'll see. love you bro. we're probably shopping for an ipod next week, can't wait. :)

went out with faus and ys after school. as usual they bullied me to go bedok's longjohnsilver and we had a really good talk. talked about everything from relationships to religion, and there's these 2 women whom i suspect are kind of eavesdropping on our conversation, lol. oh, and i think i found out something i shouldn't have. you know i absolutely hate people who lie, don't you.

got really angry with my parents regarding piano lessons (haha, previous post) but it's all settled now. anyway i'll be stopping piano after my grade 8 theory exam regardless whether i pass or fail. i'll try to work hard because of my teacher, he's being really nice and helped me to talk to my mom about my wanting to quit piano. :)

mom and pa just asked me if i'm free during september holidays. if bro and i are free, we're probably going to make a trip back to malaysia to visit grandparents. i wonder how are they, no one even bothers to update me anymore. when i ask, they'd give me answers like 'okay' and 'still the same'. if i'm not wrong, the situation there is quite complicated- there are some conflicts between my aunt and uncle besides my grandfather's condition. one of them is even moving away. think that everything would be kind of awkward if we really go back. oh well, we'll see.

hearing some japanese music these days. er zi sent me 2 songs which he deemed the best- and i like them. he even included the english translations, how thoughtful. :)

i don't why but i feel so lethargic right now. everything's like a drag to me- i cringe at the thought of school, i even cancelled my second piano lesson last friday. i just want to go somewhere and not do anything that requires my brain to work.

went to xiaomei's house on saturday to do the math project. was late by half hour but it didn't really matter because when i reached there, they were watching scary movie 4, lol. it's really funny, in a retarded way. it's that type of movie which you have to lose your brain to watch it, and laugh like a maniac. hahahahahhahahaa. :D

anyway we did do part of the project, chose a topic and did the survey questions while slacking and messing up xiaomei's computer. we saw this folder called 'idiot pics' and naturally i was curious to find out what it was.
