Adore - to treasure or cherish

Over at Sandie's Place, this wonderful card maker is having a redipe of the week & this week it is

Ok - Week 3.

This weeks recipe is to combine

Black and white and add one more colour to the mix.

You can add anything to your creation.

So here is mine

We have the most terrible weather again today, so I hve just taken this photo on the kitchen sink!!  So the colours are really bad...they are lovely crunchy lime green flowers, not that baby poo colour!!

It was a fab recipe & you can join in too if you like!

Thanks dear Sandie

Love You...well I do...

My lovely friend Sandie, from Sandie's Place has a little challenge using these gorgeous button shoes as inspiration..

So I made a card, cos I could!

I have cut a hand dyed doily into a rough 1/2 heart shape & attached a hand cut heart, embellished with buttons & bling & Stickles...the bling & Stickles are from my lovely english rose friend dear Clare. Then layered it on a red card...
I love red, white & pink together!

I certainly enjoyed creating this card today - thanks Sandie.

Its the most wonderful time of the year...

Over at Sandie's place the card this time was a shaker card.

I used a store bought Chrissie tree shaker, with a lovely Chrissie kit from Tattered Inspirations.. where there is the most fab vintage gorgeousness to be found...

Christmas Spirit Challenges - With Love

Over at the wonderful  Sandie's blog she is running Christmas Spirit card challenges.  Every year there is always a great Christmas challenge that Sandie thinks up!

So our first weekly challenge is to create a card with -

An Angel + one other element starting with "A". It's entirely up to you as long as it starts with "A". You can add anything else you like to your card.

For my card I printed out a sweet angel from free vintage photos over at Holiday Crafts, trimmed it with my lovely fussy scissorsand popped it on a few layers of paper & tissue, ribbon and journaling card.  Then added bling and ribbon roses, and adhered it to a TWB kraft card.

My other 'a' is antlers on my reindeer!

Do join in, and make some fab Christmas cards !

I used a lovely piece of  BG offcut folded & cut to a round shape, white bazzill cut with my cuttlebug, yellow organza Kaisercraft ribbon,  Kaisercraft pearls, Kaisercraft rose, flower & cut out from a lovely RAK, & Papercraft flowers & fairy die cut too.

Hope you have time to create too. xxx

Celebrate in Style...

And with Christmas past, we head to the New Year....and with a lovely challenge from Sandie, at Sandie's Place I made this celebratory card.

I received a wonderful box of goodies today from the wonderful Janet at Scrapville today for a ScrapBurst win, & amongst the fabulous treats there were some American Craft rubons & a wonderful 3D butterfly punch, which I used on this card.  Plus some gorgeous netting from my Not-So-Secret Santa Karen & using wonderful BG papers. Thank you gals!

I will give this card to Tashi on her 18th Birthday, which is in February!

Sandie's Place

So the year starts with a whirl & a flurry of scrapping, & over at Sandie's Place we are working on a scrapping challenge too.
This challenge was to use - rubons, & incorporate the letter R...well only succeeded a bit.
I have used rubons, my little rubon robins plus round red spots, some really nice regal corner rubons, 2 rosy red hearts, & royal red pearls.
But it was fun though!
Thanks Sandie!
