Here is my June page from the 2016 Calendar I created. It is created using the ClubScrap Comics digital kit. The skull element was not from the kit, it is something I grabbed off the internet and changed up to work with the layout.

ClubScrap May Artist Team Challenge Blog Hop
MAY ARTIST CHALLENGE
The May challenge is to incorporate metal or faux metal elements to embellish your pages, cards or other projects. We could use punches, die cuts, or other techniques to create them.
Today I created this great box with a drawer for holding my finger sponges...I have a lot of them!!
Start by adhering mat board strips to a mat board base. I made the walls 2 inches tall.
Create a front for the drawer, cover matboard with pattern paper and metal embellishment and knob to allow for easy open and closing of drawer.
I painted the edges of the mat board with black paint. Then I adhered pattern paper to the outside of the box.
Here is all my finger sponges in the box.
Now I created the box top. I put cut out images and letters onto the top of the matboard:
Cover with metal foil tape and use bone folder to emboss foil around images/letters:
Use alcohol inks to ink the foil tape. Then I used a little bit of black acrylic paint and rubbed around the images with my finger, this makes them pop a little more:
So now go check out LILIAN's project next!!!

Clubscrap "Creative license" Blog Hop
Creative License Blog Hop!!
Today I am working with Club Scrap's Creative License kit. This kit is fabulous, especially if you have lots of guys in your life like I do!! With Father's day coming right up - this is a great kit to play with too! Today I got to play with my hexagon dies and create this fun layout of my son and hubby riding/driving the 4x4:
Pretty basic layout - I just used my new hexagon shaped die cuts to cut out a bunch of hexagons from all the different awesome papers in this months' kit, then ink the edges of all of the sides:
On a piece of the orange cardstock, I stamped the image repeated in light brown ink as shown:
Adhere the hexagon shapes as shown:
Trim off the pieces that overlap the page. Finish up the layout by adding photo and embellishments:
I also made a Greeting Card using the same technique:
