Cards - Easel Card - VIDEO TUTORIAL

Very simple yet unique card. Lays flat for mailing, then your recipient can stand it up like an easel for displaying it. I think this would be a fabulous way to do your Christmas cards, and may just end up doing them this way - this year!

Supply list:
Cardstock
Inks
Rubberstamps
Embellishments

Instructions: Cut a piece of cardstock to your liking, my folded card is 5.75x5.75. Fold half the flap in half again. Cut another piece of cardstock 5.75x5.75 and glue half the folded flap (the edge half) to the cardstock piece. Border strip: Cut a strip 1.5-2in X 5.75, embellish with circles and flowers, attach to bottom card using popdots. This extra height allows for the top part of the card to rest against it - like an easel. Card Front: Cut mats and rubberstamp as desired, add sentiments and embellishments.

Hey gang

Well I thought I would try my hand at a video tutorial for this project. I really don't know what I am doing - so it is pretty rough, but check it out, and let me know what you think. I made another one, but still need to edit it before I can post it.

Supply list:
8x8 Cardstock
(2)8x1-15/16 cardstock
Rubberstamps (Club Scrap)
Ink
Embellishments
Bone folder

Instructions:
1. Score lines on 8x8 at 2in, 4in, and 6in. Fold on score lines and reinforce with Bone folder.
2. While in half, mark a 2 inch line from center fold to next fold line at 2in, 4in and 6in. Cut with straight edge or scissors.
3. Open up and weave the 2 thin strips into the cut lines.
4. Embellish card with sayings, images, cut outs, etc.
