Cherish the moment

this week on outlawz, Paper ala mode the challenge is to made cards with stitching.. or pretend stitching my image is from Sami stamps called Lady bug branch ..   I colored the image with copic markers and cut it out using tonic stitch dies...   and used a fine line pen to connect the dots to look like stitching ..  the lady bugs have Tonic nuvo clear drops on them and the black has nuvo drops pearls on it...

Christmas in June

Today I am sharing a card I made using a wonderful Besties image  I colored the image with copic markers... and cut her out using a Spellbinders die...   I also used a Die by Scrapbooking made simple..
I did some cold foiling on this card... I foiled the  Tree and the Merry Christmas... To do cold foiling you use an adhesive   I used tonic glue.. this glue you let dry and  it becomes sticky... and that is when you add the foil to the item...  you put the pretty side up...  and press down... to get a real good bond.. you can take and put it in a folded piece of copy paper like a sandwich  and put it thru your die cut machine.. you might need to add  some extra paper to make it thicker depending on you machine..
Then I added some tonic glitter drops to the image    and yes we had to add some glitter to the hat..
Not bad for my first Christmas card of the year...many more to come...

lets get together

Today on the Scrapbook stamp society challenge it is everyones favorite.. Anything goes... I chose to use the image Let's get together and tweet. .  I colored it with copic markers and cut it out using tattered lace dies.. it added some yellow chalk ink to the edges... the background was done by embossing the blue paper , than sanding... and adding chalk int to the embossed bits... and I also added from stampendous frantage to the corners and some  wassie tape to the bottom..
the butterflies are tattered lace butterflies... and these I added embossing ink and embossed them with frantage...

Not Lion

Today on outlawz, we are doing guy cards... and you know we all struggle with these... my image is from  Eureka Stamps and is called Lion.. I colored the lion with copic markers and fussy cut hime out and layered on  a heart die from Tattered lace... The sentiment is one I made up ... yes it is the 33rd wedding anniversary ..  my Husband has   dementia  so will not remember but I do so I make him a card anyway..  The background... I embossed onto  red cardstock.. to do this you need a cardstock with a white core...  I sanded the embossed parts off .... then I used my Copic markers to color the embossed parts that were white... i am sure you all have done this before... but I had an a light bulb moment and did it... so I know I might be the last person in the world to think of this... but..
I also used wassie tape on the card to adde some interest...

fairy Dreams

This month at Digi Stamps 4 Joy the challenge is Fairies.. the image I chose to us is called
Fairy Wishes.. I  colored the image with copic markers and colored her in with copic markers and fine line statlier pens..   after fusssy cutting her our... i mounted her on some dies from Tonic Studio.  the paper is from Hunky Dory .the other dies are from tattered lace and elizabeth crafts..

Baptism Card for a girl

today I am sharing a card I made for my Great Niece's Baptism to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  We do not Baptize until the child has reached the age of 8..   I used a free coloring page I found on the internet.. under LDS free coloring pages..  I used spellbinders dies and the sentiment die is from Tattered lace..

I used  a Queen and co kit  and it is great is comes with the butterfly die and it also come with  everything you need to make the shaker part of the card.. and it is even cut out for you ...

ATC card

This week on Paper Ala Mode on outlaws... our challenge is ATC or Artist trading cards..   our sponsor is Digi Stamp Boutique... and the image i am using is called Elvis Hedgehog...  I colored it with copic markers... i colored it twice... because I wanted to add some layering ... the hedgehog...  I cut out the center part  and popped it up using pop dots... and I also popped up the butterflies... the  dies are from spellbinders and Tattered lace...  I also used distress ink and  wassie tape...
