Baptism Card for a girl

today I am sharing a card I made for my Great Niece's Baptism to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  We do not Baptize until the child has reached the age of 8..   I used a free coloring page I found on the internet.. under LDS free coloring pages..  I used spellbinders dies and the sentiment die is from Tattered lace..

On your Baptism

Today the card I am posting is a baptism card.. for a young lady in the church who was baptized on Saturday.  I just felt I wanted to do teal and pink.. The image is from the free LDS coloring pages.
and the dies are from Spellbinders and another one.. do not remember the name... I used the hearts from the banner to add as embellishments to the card.

baptism Easel card

Today I had a special request for a baptism card for an adult women..   I went with the joy of spring since spring is a time of nature renewing herself after the long winter.  Since baptism is a form of renewing yourself and starting over with a clean slate..

And as always thanks for stopping by

Baptism cards

I was asked to make some more baptism cards.  These are for a couple of young men getting baptized
who just turned 8.
I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  And we do not baptize a child until they are at least 8 years old. We also baptize by putting the person complete under the water.
The image came from free coloring pages.  yes I do use these because sometimes you just cannot find the correct image at a store.. I colored the images with copic markers and used some special paper made in Utah for people to Scrapbook this occasion.

baptism cards with nestiblities

This is a baptism card I made for a young man at our church. the stamps are from halo, stamps.. I used the oval nestiblites. then I embossed the outside with gold embossing powder. To do this you run the edge of the paper over clear embossing ink pad. then you dip the edge of the paper in the embossing powder, and heat.. I work in small sections at a time. Then the same gold embossing powder was used on the temple image in the background
