Marcus is sitting up! I knew he would love to be sitting up because he LOVES playing with his toys and entertaining himself. He will sit there and play all day long if I let him. It took him a little while to figure out how to sit up on his own but this week he finally mastered it. We have a few tip overs here and there but otherwise he is loving being able to do more things. Next on to crawling :) I don't know if Dave and I are ready for this milestone or not.

It's a funny thing being a parent, you want so badly for them to do these milestones....sitting up, crawling, then walking. But when they finally do, you wish you could go back to the days when they just sat there :)

It's great when they can sit up independently. They feel so grown up and they really start to interact with their environment. Way to go, Marcus!

Yay for Marcus!! Although, it seems like he is still just a newborn baby to me, can he really be sitting up already?!?
So he did start sitting up after Grandma left from babsitting on Friday night. Marcus is growing up and doing a fine job of mastering everything. Love this grandchild.
