I know this post is late but better late than never. Dave and I had a great Easter. This year was completely with the Kelly's, my family tried to have a hunt but it kind of fell through so we will try next year. We went out to Dave's aunt Katherine's house, had a delicious dinner, a fun easter egg hunt, and had a blast hanging out with family. I love being with his family because by the end of the night my cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling so much. Here are a few pictures of the hunt.
These are the jello eggs that dave and I made. Dave has this genius idea to dye the cool whip yellow to make them look like deviled eggs. Then he sprinkled red sprinkles to look like the paprika. His family made fun of him, especially for taking a picture of it, but I want to boast about how creative my husband can be.

Looks like a great day. I feel really bad we didn't do anything for Easter or Conference. Next year we will do better. When I first saw Dave's eggs, I thought, "Yuck, seriously what has Dave done?". I was relieved to read that it was Cool Whip. Very clever, I think!
Looks like fun, I may have to come borrow some cookie cutters, it looks like you have every one!
When I saw those jello eggs I really thought they were deviled eggs on jello! I was very relieved to read it was whipping cream!
We do laugh a lot. I am glad that we do have a fun time as a family and Dave's eggs were great. I think he might be in charge of the devil eggs for Easter next year.
Dave, pretty clever, I would say. Almost as clever as the "deviled egg faces" that I would make for my chidren for treats at school. (Ask Michelle about them). One of these days you're going to invent some food treat that will make you millions! When that happens, remember that we encouraged you! Fun Easter for all! We're so glad you have a fun family to be with!
