ok, so there was an australian teacher, miss claire wood, on an exchange programme yesterday who came in for english lesson with us. my, my, she actually has a pig for a pet, just like charlotte's web. this reminds me of one of madonna's single cover of "music" and "don't tell me" which looks so cowboy like.
she was also wearing a green bambi necklace, which is so cute. she taught inference and then she read a short story of sredni vashtar for us and i don't really understand what it was about. and she was asking what the "red" in the sentence refers to. i was looking down on my paper and mouthing the word "bloody". she seem to be able to lip read from the side and said yes! and asked me to repeat my answer. i was like... how did she lip read from the side a table away from me? marvellous skill.
so that's for yesterday. let me talk about today.
money was stolen today, ooo... and i was like fun the whole day today. first period, physical education which we did gym. then we came back to find money missing in one person's wallet halfway through the maths lesson. the fun starts and miss pek, instead of teaching maths, was telling us what to do. so bags, wallets, everything was checked and nobody was found with the money. so then it was the end of the lesson. we had recess, then went for consortium assembly which was not much of interesting things, but at least we could slack there.
then we came back to class and it was jennifer's period. 5 min after the period start, jennifer still has not arrived and jeffrey dropped by first to talk to us about the stolen money case. then jennifer arrives and overheard what jeffrey was saying. when jeffrey left, she was telling us some pyschological stuff and why this might have happened. then she searched everywhere in the class and the lockers too. this is like also damn slack. in the end still cannot find the money.
then jennifer showed us "the silent scream" and then "supersize me"and class was over. we then rushed over to bukit panjang primary school to start with our cip activity. the teacher walked by and helped us sign the cip activity form which will be handed in to limcc. and omg, this is the last lesson and the school gave us each $10 popular voucher. we should really do such cip activity for project's day the next 2 years. not only will there be ace, there will also cip hours and vouchers. yay.
friday is teacher's day and i publicly declare i don't intend to bring anything for the potluck. oh please, do you think the teacher can seriously finish the food we brought for potluck? well, xujun suggested that we wrap up the incident report composition and hand in to miss tan as teacher's day gift. orly, she will be damn diaozzz.
tomorrow is bio module exam. lemme study hard. bb.
I would like to comment on xujun's illogical composition.
He said in his story after a heart attack and he was lying in the hospital bed, he was able to know that ten minutes ago he was still alive and well. Can anyone tell me how you send a person to hospital, cure the person of heart attack and wait for the person to wake up in ten minutes? This is total crap.
And when he had a heart attack and was lying down on the floor waiting for help, he could still think of who was the person trying to poison and kill him, and does not seem to be in much agony. Wow, marvellous, I would like to see him demo to us.
And after that he knew it was his sister who poisoned him, then when she came to visit her brother with food, she gave the brother the food and Xujun said in the compo that the sister said "don't worry" and "I'm not going to hurt you, eat." UNCONVINCINGLY (that's what xujun wrote), the brother still dared to eat the food. Should I say this as stupid brother or stupid writer.
He also wrote that the brother traced the source of the bitter almond smell, all the way to the bowl, which is just right in front of him in his food. This is shit, he's less than 30cm from the food on his plate and he has to TRACE the source of the bitter almond smell which is from his food? He is not an ant right, so 30cm shouldn't be a very long distance.
And not to say, the food was poisoned food contains cyanide. So the cyanide reacted with the HCl in the stomach to form hydrogen cyanide. Then his face turned blue. God knows what the hydrogen cyanide did to his body? Rot his flesh? And why did his face turn blue? Is it because the food tastes horrible?
Not to mention all his crap chemistry. This is like him teaching Mrs Teo science, 班门弄斧.
Overall, this is an illogical dumb shit compo which I could hardly continue and want to tear into half and no more than half. I finally know how Miss Tan feels marking Xujun's compo. I sympathise with you, Miss Tan. My condolences to you. Could I leave him to rewrite his crap compo, Miss Tan?
From now on, I shall be starting devious plot sharing sessions so I could plot up some wonderful ideas about wonderful stuff.
For the start, I shall talk about hawkers paying tax in Singapore.
Create one or two new stalls near you with different names but selling the same things. You could tell some reliable people to patronise the stalls near you and tell them it's yours. Note: Only tell people whom you know and trust. Then the queue at your original stall could be shortened. Officers coming in to check for tax evasion would see that you have few people at your stall and will not arrest you for tax evasion. Note: This is only for people capable enough of paying rent and utility bills for 2 or 3 stalls and is not afraid of risks.
If you had watched NDP 2007 on TV, you would have saw that there were 2 scenes where the performers fell.
The first time was the person who acted as a fish and was dressed in red, the so called main character, he skated up a ram and fell at the top. I was laughing because I predicted before that the person will fall and he did, not because he fell. The second time was at around 7.50pm and there was a performer who turn on skates and fell.
And there was the end of NDP, where President S.R. Nathan was shaking hands with the people. There was a starfish, whose hand was in the starfish costume, there I was wondering how the President was going to shake hands with him.
When Jimmy Ye performed Will You with a lot of actions, kick here kick there, so ugly. He even drove in with a very expensive car. Is he trying to own Kit Chan with his pathetic actions and car.
There was also additional lyrics when Kit Chan sang the National Day 2007 theme song, There's No Place I'd Rather Be.
Of course, I'm not going to start on what color of clothes some people should wear, or Dora is going to kill me.
Just before the NDP started, there was the news about how people were gathered around the the Floating Stage to grab a good seat to watch the Parade. Then when the reporter was doing his report, I heard the background music at Marina was Madonna's Ray Of Light. I was so excited and glad because their choice of song is right. Ray Of Light is wonderful, a very nice song. It's one of my favourite songs and I love it so much.
It's national day today! Yay, can SQ (slack quietly). I can't wait to watch the National Day parade.
Anyway, I just made a discovery that if Madonna releases her new studio album and compilation album this year, adding up all the current albums now, her studio albums (Madonna, Like A Virgin, True Blue, Like A Prayer, Erotica, Bedtime Stories, Ray Of Light, Music, American Life, Confessions On A Dance Floor), compilation albums(You Can Dance, The Immaculate Collection, Something To Remember GHV2, GHV2 Remixed, Remixed & Revisited, Confessions Remixed), soundtracks (Who's That Girl, I'm Breathless, Evita, The Next Best Thing, and live album (I'm Going To Tell You A Secret, The Confessions Tour), there will be a total of 25 albums, which is on par with her 25 anniversary in showbiz career.
Tomorrow is National Day (9th August). Yipee, no need to attend school from Wednesday to Friday. It's the nation's 42th Birthday. And it is said that tomorrow's National Day performance is probably going to be the best ever, with the inclusion of land, water, and air forces. The stage is floating on the waters in Marina Bay, and there's going to be laser fountain show too. I'm so excited.
Madonna is having a Fan Blog Of The Day and I've decided to join. I hope she picks me! Then she will come to tag at the tagboard!!! I'm even more excited about this.
And I just can't wait for her new album to come out in November with cool brand new songs. Her birthday is arriving in a week's time! Yay.
