I swear this year's olympics is taking a toll on my life and on my emotional status. So much that it's as if my exam papers are on Beijing 2008. For your info im in the midst of my exams yarrrrrrr. I am so gonna do a sum up of everything after my papers end! BUT FIRST I NEED TO RELEASE MY EMOTIONS OMG.
WATCHING ATHLETICS HAVE BEEN SUPER FREAKING OMG WTH AREYOUKIDDINGME PURE MADNEZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It started off with Bolt's 100m record, Yelena's pole vault record, the crashing out of Liu Xiang, Bolt's 200m record thennnnn this is when one whole HEAP of :O came in.
Lolo Jones was leading in the women's 100m hurdles (she was expected to win), SECOND LAST HURDLE SHE TRIPPED. US men and women 4x100m relay team dropped their batons during the heats, one after another. And you thought that was the end. TODAY THE JAMAICAN WOMEN'S RELAY TEAM (expected to win, with world record somemore!) FAILED TO PASS THE BATON WITHIN THE 20M MARK (2nd to 3rd runner). The worst thing is that they cut into Great Britain's lane and caused them to drop their baton.
I tell you i was soooooooooooooooooo upset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like you as a spectator go into the race expecting a good show, records and all and things like that happen, you just feel so sad and sorry for the runners. I CANT HELP IT THAT IM SO EMPATHETIC OK.
But ah well athletics ended off good today and i forgot about all the emotional pain i suffered earlier. Jamaican men's relay team 4x100 broke the world record! I was srsly praying damn hard that nothing will happen to them. BLOODY AWESOME PEOPLE I LOVE USAIN BOLT LIKE MAD.
Have been following men's pole vault too (since qualifying rounds please) and today was the final, THE GUY WHO I LIKE LIKE ALOT ALOT ALOT GOT GOLD! Cos he looked really zai right from the start and clearly stood out with his skin tight suit all. Steve Hooker, aussie hottie! And he cleared all his last 3 jumps only at the last attempt, exhilarating or whut. Oh and he got an olympic record, beat the previous one by erm ONE CM HAHA.
WOOHOO! Still, sigh. If only the jamaicans met the americans! It'd have been such a showdown, such an epic battle :(
48 hours till olympics end, that is when the real sadness sets in boohoo. I think the last must-watch on my list is the women's volleyball finals, go go go USA! I've like immense respect for the USA coach, who is the only female among all the volleyball coaches. Damn cool la.
My excitement garnered from swimming (done single handedly by one person) and gymnastics (liukin! johnson! cheng fei!) all kinda died down alr but i will relive it once again after my papers, WITH PICTURES!!!! Like a photo post consisting of my favourite people of Beijing 2008. Be excited yo.
