New 'Do

Hard to believe, but it is September and school is back in full swing! CrAzY how time flies!

Kennedy started Kindergarten and loves every minute of it! :) The day before school started I took her to get her hair cut. I told her she could decide how much she wanted cut. Instead of a trim like we always do, she decided she wanted it VERY short! So we went with it and we all love it! Kennedy appreciates that it is much easier to brush! I think she looks soooo much more grown up!!!

So, on this layout celebrating her New 'Do, I used lots of Echo Park paper and my Epiphany Crafts circle tool! It was rather hard to photograph so I hope you can see it!

And here is a close up of the journaling and fun EC circles!

Thanks for stopping by for a peek today!
Be blessed!

Fun with Magnets!

The first time I tried my Epiphany Crafts tool I immediately thought it would be fun to make magnets with them!!! So Kennedy and I tried it out!

We grabbed some cute paper and cardstock, our Cuttlebug and dies, ink, a few embellishments and the EC tools. Kennedy had a blast! Well, I did too!

This long magnet was actually something I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby. It had some saying painted on it but I knew I could make it cute myself! So I covered it with paper, inked it, added a glittery metal circle, die cut key and topped it with an EC heart!!

For these two, I used the EC tool to make the center hearts. Then we used the Cuttlebug for the layered flowers.

I made these the same way, I just used the circle shape rather than the heart.

Sorry the photo is blurry on this one! We used a funky flower from The Girl's Paperie and added and EC heart to the middle!
The four creations below are Kennedy's! She picked out all the paper and die cut shapes herself. We used the Cuttlebug together (it is still a little hard for her to turn alone). And she did used the EC tool!

Watcha think?! It was a very fun afternoon craft project!!! Thanks for looking!
