Holiday Blog Hop!!

Epiphany Crafts

Welcome to the Epiphany Crafts Design Team Holiday Ornament Blog Hop 2010!!

Our lovely Design Team has created some wonderful holiday projects, brimming with inspiration and of course, Epiphany Crafts epoxies, buttons, and tools! Visit each Design Team members blog to see what inspiring projects they have to share. Leave a comment on each blog. When you reach the last blog, you'll receive the final instructions on how to enter to win a fabulous prize pack filled with Epiphany Crafts goodies, straight from Santa!!

I started with an unfinished piece of wood from our local craft store. But you can use anything as your "backdrop"

We painted the entire thing light blue.

Once it dried, Kennedy covered her fingers in white paint and pressed them onto the wood.

Once that dried, we added snowmen faces, scarves and hats! We had a glittery chipboard star to add to the sky and topped it with an Epiphany Crafts circle embellishment!

Finally we attached some ribbon to hand our ornament from the tree!

SUPER EASY!!!!! I am always on the lookout for kid friendly crafts that aren't over-the-top or too difficult and this one fit the bill!

Leave a comment here on my blog for your chance to win some yummy My Little Shoebox goodies!!!!!

Your next stop on the Hop is:

1st Day of Kindergarten

It is so hard to believe I already have a kindergartener! Kennedy was totally ready to go and is loving every minute of it!!

This layout is about her VERY first day of K! I must say I think she is the cutest gal!!!

I just love Echo Park papers....yum! They are quickly becoming a new favorite of mine! I also used the Epiphany Crafts button maker for the buttons on the edge of the photos and in front of the birds.

How fun are those birds?? And I LOVE the glitter alphas by Thickers!!!!

I hope to have some projects including Quinn soon!!!
Thanks for looking! Be Blessed!

10-10-10

Yup! Today is 10-10-10! How fun is that?!

At Epiphany Crafts, we have decided to "celebrate" with a TOP 10 layout!!!!
I used some yummy Echo Park papers and the Flower 20 Epiphany crafts tool!!!

It was so cute to hear what Kennedy considers the Top 10 things about Kindergarten! Remember, you can click on the image to see it larger and read the journaling!
Thanks for looking! Be Blessed!!!

New 'Do

Hard to believe, but it is September and school is back in full swing! CrAzY how time flies!

Kennedy started Kindergarten and loves every minute of it! :) The day before school started I took her to get her hair cut. I told her she could decide how much she wanted cut. Instead of a trim like we always do, she decided she wanted it VERY short! So we went with it and we all love it! Kennedy appreciates that it is much easier to brush! I think she looks soooo much more grown up!!!

So, on this layout celebrating her New 'Do, I used lots of Echo Park paper and my Epiphany Crafts circle tool! It was rather hard to photograph so I hope you can see it!

And here is a close up of the journaling and fun EC circles!

Thanks for stopping by for a peek today!
Be blessed!

Pumpkin Patch Mini Album

Today I am sharing a fun little mini album perfect for fall! I went with Kennedy's preschool class last fall on their field trip to the pumpkin patch. Of course I took way too many photos! So I decided to make a mini album to fit them in!!!

I used lots of Making Memories papers and tons of other goodies from my stash! I also used the epiphany crafts tool - you will get to see the close ups of them!!!

Remember you can always click on a photo to see it enlarged!

Hope you enjoyed!!!!!! Have a blessed day!

Fun with Magnets!

The first time I tried my Epiphany Crafts tool I immediately thought it would be fun to make magnets with them!!! So Kennedy and I tried it out!

We grabbed some cute paper and cardstock, our Cuttlebug and dies, ink, a few embellishments and the EC tools. Kennedy had a blast! Well, I did too!

This long magnet was actually something I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby. It had some saying painted on it but I knew I could make it cute myself! So I covered it with paper, inked it, added a glittery metal circle, die cut key and topped it with an EC heart!!

For these two, I used the EC tool to make the center hearts. Then we used the Cuttlebug for the layered flowers.

I made these the same way, I just used the circle shape rather than the heart.

Sorry the photo is blurry on this one! We used a funky flower from The Girl's Paperie and added and EC heart to the middle!
The four creations below are Kennedy's! She picked out all the paper and die cut shapes herself. We used the Cuttlebug together (it is still a little hard for her to turn alone). And she did used the EC tool!

Watcha think?! It was a very fun afternoon craft project!!! Thanks for looking!

Scrap That Baby

Here is my layout for the latest challenge at Scrap That Baby. This time our theme was nursery/children's room decor.

These photos are of the transformation of our guest room into Kennedy's big girl bedroom. In one of the photos you can see her watching Daddy paint. She was 2.5yrs old! She seemed soooo grown up then!!!! For the most part Jeff painted the walls green and pink. I used a paper bowl cut in half to make scallops and painted those in. Now I need to make a layout of the finished room! She has been in it 2.5 years now!!!!

For most of this layout I used The Girl's Paperie goodies! YUM! I won the entire line from The Scrap Review! And I finally opened up my newest Martha Stewart border punch!

I have started creating with the new Epiphany Crafts tools......you are gonna love what they make! Hope to post again soon!!!!

More Sewing!!!!

I have been bad about posting to this blog!!! So I figured I could show you some sewing I have done over the last month or two!!! This pink and yellow taggie blankie is one I made for Little Miss Marin!!!! I just love the decorative stitching options on my new sewing machine!!!

Way back in May, I tried my hand at making a bag! It was my first time and I can use some practice!! But I enjoy trying new things anyway! This bag I made for Kenendy's preschool teacher. For the last day of school we filled it with stuff from Bath & Body Works - so it was a bit heavy!!!
And this was my first order!!!!! I hope little baby Eden enjoys it!!!! I will be opening an Etsy shop...working on that now. And I am sewing like crazy trying to build up a little inventory! I will share it all with you when it is up and running!!!!
