Where the wild things are

On our way home from the Reunion we stopped in SLC for a few days and took the kids to the zoo...visited with cousins and had an overall fun time!

Love to ride!

Addy was the map holder she new where she wanted to go.

So it was awesome to see this big guy staring at us.

Okay so the Hogle Zoo got a Polar Bear recently and I have never seen one and I was in love, I was more enthralled than the kids :) It was amazing to see it swim through the water, it was a beautiful creature, though I've seen Planet Earth and know how dangerous they are they really do look so sweet though.

He would pull up and stare at the people in the window

so graceful under water

camera shy :)

The giraffes are always a big hit!

Addy loved the camel she kept saying, Look he loves me he's smiling!
Liam takes after his Grandpa he loved the elephants and could have watched them all day. Cute baby!

Sum of Summer

Hmmmm.... well I have been MIA here at my blog but with a request for an update I am going to try to tackle this thing. This fourth of July we went up to McCall Idaho for our first ever immediate family Ellsworth reunion

Yeah for family and cute parents!

It wasn't long but we had fun at the lake and at our little cabins.

Loved seeing Lydia for the first time!

The kids loved the "beach" Pretty sure Addy is obsessed with water in fact my family commented on how my kids were the ones to watch out for because they would start going out farther and farther trying to "swim"

here's drooling Jason

Lydia with her Uncle Will

I love how Liam walks hahaha
My kids have what I call cousin twins. Lincoln is two weeks older than and Liam has Ryann she is two days older than him and a little fireball.

It was a great time we were all fairly civil to each other which is always a plus :) I met two future in-laws. Got to spend time with my sweet grandma. Got a horrible sunburn :). Saw my sister Clara and her little family for the first time in 3 years (which really made it worth it) Loved it!

Here are a few of my fav's of Addy and then a family pic of us!

Easter Load

Okay Easter was great! Traditional Easter picnic/egg hunt on Smith's Mesa... seriously never get tired of that view. Best Place ever to have an easter egg hunt @ Rock pond. Basically a bunch of holes in the sandstone where water pools and carves it out. So enjoy the pics and 10 points to those who spot Daniel and Bryce's (our easter bunnies) sick sick joke when they found a deceased relative of the easter bunny, and decided that when an easter bunny dies it must have exploded with candy so they set several eggs at the resting place....luckily the kids were to interested in getting candy to ask me why the easter bunny was taking a nap :)
