I will admit, I was a little bummed I didn't get to go hiking today with everyone to Water Canyon. I'm hoping we can get Michael and Haleigh all confident in rapelling by next summer and go a bunch of times with them. Until then, we'll let Daniel take everyone and we'll play at home.

Awesome big sister!
So the hospital called for their "how did we do" survey tonight while I was trying to get Mya to eat her dinner. I was using the "Airplane method" and it was working. So I combined it with my question answering skills. Then Jaida started needing attention. Haleigh scooped her up and I never heard from them again. I finished my survery and put Mya's dishes away. And found Haleigh in the front room, proud of her accomplishments on getting her baby sister to sleep! So sweet!

rapelling refresher
Daniel is planning a hike early next month. They plan on hiking Water Canyon. So he and Michael took Ju, Jen, and Jimmy out for a refresher course at Red Cliffs. They all had fun, and I slept in. Which at this point is just as good as a good hike. :)

I would have gone to church but...
Cousins Ben, Allie, and Charlie who live in Atlanta now... stopped by with their Nana (Great-Aunt Sue) and their mom Amie today. They have been visiting Gordon and Sue in Las Vegas this month for Gordon and Sue's 50th wedding anniversary. We missed the big party for Jaida to be born, so it was nice of them to stop by so we could still have a visit!

I look very relaxed in this photo because I was. We were the first mid-wife delivery in our hospital! So excited to be part of history!! Katie was the best EVER! She asked what I expected and she delivered, literally. :)
Can I have some baby sister too?
Aunts again! You are welcome.
Sevy girls... can't wait to see what the new kid on the block is going to be!!
Our baby tech was Tara, she's in our ward, which was fun to have someone I knew taking care of our new bundle of joy!
