TRICK -OR- TREAT!!

Of course we had to celebrate Halloween on Saturday the 30th here in Zion. When in Rome... We had to wake Mya up to go to circle park for trunk or treat, so she was pretty attached to "softy" for our picture! Blind ref, Cinderella, and dead baseball player.
Mya's friend Lily from mom's office came to our trunk or treat too!
Taylor and Haleigh
Kisses for Daddy in exchange for candy!
After circle park we ran to Julie's house where she and Colleen were having a party!
Colleen: Dead Prom Queen/ Julie: Granny / Stephanie: Fish
Yes, Jen and I are party poopers.
Then we headed to the Sevy's for good food and fun. We played a bunch of minute-to-win-it games.
Mya got tired of being Cinderella, so she stole most of McKenna's hippy costume...

Carter and Mya playing "junk in the trunk" Mya could do it in like 3 seconds!!
Then Mya decided she would dress Daddy up in all the stuff she had stolen from everyone and would be Dad for awhile.

Halloween is always fun! I especially like that it's never cold here in St. George!! :)

Pumpking Carving!!

almost Halloween

Today Mya and I stopped by Haleigh's school to drop off a jello brain at her class party... and stayed for a few minutes to help decorate a cupcake!
Had to stop for a minute on the swings

Then this evening was the Southwest Symphony's Spooktacular concert. The kids get to play as a special feature. It's always a fun concert because the entire symphony is dressed up and they play familiar music from popular movies.

Youth Halloween Party

Tonight was our Halloween party put on by the youth in our ward. It's always fun and this year was a little bigger as the whole ward was invited out for hotdogs etc. It was a nice crowd and the kids got to play lots of games. Now that Michael is 12 he got to help Dad with the deacons/scouts booth. They did a bunch of minute-to-win-it games!

Colleen's birthday & cake

We hurried home from Provo and pulled into Julie and Colleen's just as they were getting home from their birthday dinner for Colleen. We had cake and icecream and visited for awhile before heading home to CRASH!

One last time.

Now that BYU has decided to go independent from the Mountain West Conference, who knows if they'll ever play Wyoming again. So we decided as soon as we found that they would be playing eachother in Provo on the schedule that we would go to the game. Low and behold our ward youth decided to go to the same game. So Daniel drove Eric's family to Evanston on Friday and then came home and turned around and went to Provo with us on Saturday. Considering we went into this game without scoring in the last 9 quarters, it was a really good game. It got super exciting right at the very end... but there just wasn't enough time left on the clock. The great thing was that it downpoured while we walked into the stadium and when we got sat down it stopped and even warmed up. Then started up again as we walked back to the car. Maren is going to school at the Y so she came up to visit us during half time! And Phil is a buddy of Jen's from her days @ Udub, he's also a die hard Cowboy fan... so I knew he'd be there... and lo and behold there he was!The kids had a great time with their friends!Mya had lots of room to move around up in the nose bleed section where we were sitting, so she had a ton of fun too. I've NEVER sat that high in any stadium ever! But it was still fun and since my contacts are pretty new I could even see clear across the stadium and enjoy the game! ;)On the way home I took a picture of this storm as we came upon it cuz it looked pretty cool... WELL... when we got into it we went under a overpass and when we came out on the other side we hydroplaned ALL OVER the road. It was super exciting sorta scary for a minute! Daniel is a good driver and he saved our lives!

They're Here part II

Trisha's birthday is the 22nd but Daniel was going to drive them to Evanston to meet John to take them on to Lovell... so we had a birthday party for her one day early. I don't think she minded. We made homemade pizza, played pin the tail on the donkey, and had brownies and presents!
Mya was the only one NOT blind folded and this is where she stuck her tail! I don't think she got it.
She said she doesn't like cake... so here's the celebratory brownies.
Finally driving into Wyoming!
Reuniting with brothers and cousins and sister-in-laws and cousins and 2nd cousins...
