Splish Splash

This is Mya's first bubble bath! She had so much fun her little feet were even pruned when she got out! She has always loved her baths, even the very first time the nurse washed her hair at the hospital!

BUG TAG

10. When someone wakes me up before my alarm goes off, especially within 15 minutes of it going off.

9. 9 o'clock church, which I can not be on time for and the stupid building is either too hot or too cold and I spend 90% of the time out of class with Mya anyway, and then the whole rest of the day to sit at home... I struggle with cabin fever.

8. When Daniel "Shh's" the kids and it's more inturruptive than the kids were being in the first place.

computer tricks

O.k. first of all I got Michael's permission to use his photo to do this to and post! But it's one of the tricks we learned at my d-scrap class the other night and the kids and I have had a blast playing with pictures of ourselves. We've been rolling on the ground laughing, it's almost as good as "Elfing" ourselves was at Christmas!

Super Bowl

So ya know Bret from a few posts ago... HE GET'S TO GO TO THE SUPERBOWL, AGAIN!!!!! I'm glad because that means I'll actually watch the game and not just the commercials!

NFL Sunday

So Daniel is a fan of the 49ers, for whatever reason. And I'm a Bronco's fan because I've been to a few games and even entertained in the pre-game show before taking off from Denver to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC my senior year. Not to mention they just rock. I think it's crap that they fired Shanahan... I'm sure there's some political explaination. BUT... in the little town of Greybull, 30 miles North of my hometown I had a friend named Brett Keisel growing up. We're even distant cousins (duh, we're from the Big Horn Basin). Brett us huge, he's always been huge. In high school when teams would lose to Greybull they would say they got "Keiseled"! So now Brett plays for the Steelers, and we're ALL fans of the Steelers now!
He had an awesome sack tonight against San Diego so I thought I'd post it.

Cruise'n along

I got this truck out for Mya the other day and stood her up behind it and she immediatly dropped to her knees and took off pushing it across the room! It was so stinking cute! So here you go. She's gpt the rhythmn down, she'll be walking as soon as she get's more balance standing up... too soon! She's quite determined as you can see her go 4X4ing over her other toys.

Michael's Mojo

A few summers ago we really geeked Michael out with glasses and braces. He was only in braces for a year, and over Christmas break we put him in contacts. He's been doing awesome with them and even got the go ahead to only wear his retainer on his teeth at night. The girls aren't calling the house yet... but I'm sure it's soon to come. ;)

Standing

Mya has been pulling herself up and standing on everything since the week of Christmas. Just needed to document it.

Entertainment tonight!

Tonight we were so lucky to have some great performances, sort of a readers theater... sorta... by Haleigh and McKenna a.k.a "Farty Marty" & "Burpy Murpy". They each told a story about the other one. It was cute. Their costumes were pretty flashy. I especially loved Haleigh's 1 spider man glove and leg warmers (and she didn't even grow up in the 80's!) Michael was their stage hand. He did the introductions and let us know the rules of the theater (to remain seated at all times and keep your babies quiet!) ;) Then he held the spot light! Thanks girls! You just can't beat a wild late night with Haleigh and McKenna!

Annual New Years Bowling

It's been our tradition to go bowling on New Years Day. We were pretty busy work-wise yesterday so we went today... the 2nd. Haleigh was beating everyone for the first 6 frames, but I got my act together!

Don't worry, Michael got a hair cut as soon as we got home!
