Getting ready for School!

3 Months

Mya found her feet this month and has been having a ball playing with her own toes. She also loves soft silky things and fleece blankets. She blew out all over her dad today, way to go girl!

Cookie Monsters!

Haleigh and Michael wanted to make cookies today. These are the easiest. It's a block of almond bark and a cup of peanut butter melted together then add about 6 cups of rice krispies and about 2 cups peanuts and a bunch of marshmellows and then just drop them on wax paper and wait for them to cool. You could add coconut, but I never have. They had a good time.

Every day a lake day...

Helped the Neil's break in their new boat. Beautiful day out on Quail Lake. Only 2 other boats. We could get used to this... think we'll get one!

Vegas in July

Took a few days to go to Vegas with my sistas and get some sun. Not that there's not any here... but there's better shopping in Vegas! Stayed at the Gold Nugget. Rooms were very nice and pretty cheap. Pool was awesome with Shark tank in the center and a tube slide that went right through! Michael and Haleigh had a blast and 1/2 the pool was in the shade all day so Mya didn't get fried. After dark shopping is the way to go at the new Town Square South on the Strip, and the kids got loaded up for the new school year at Fashion Show Mall. I must say it reminds me of the good 'ole days when we used to drive to Billings for back to school shopping...

4 July 2008

I was very upset on the 4th of July when we couldn't go out to Lake Powell. Mya had just had her shots the day before and had a fever and who wants to take a baby out in the sun all day? So we went to the park in the morning and the pool all afternoon. Watched the fireworks from the college and it was perfect... no traffic, not to loud, no big crowd.
