April 19th graduation

Ok, so this first picture is totally blurry.
But it reminds me of such a sweet moment for our family. During Dan's graduation we had a perfect view of him the whole time, but it wasn't until he was walking out that he saw us way up in the bleachers. This captures that moment of us seeing each other. And yes, I was bawling. Though I had been all day really. The kids were so excited.
We love you Daddy!

Manti Temple Pageant

If you can believe it, I am blogging about something that we got home from today! I know, shocker. Yesterday we went to the Manti Miracle Pagent, they officially call it. We got to Manti in the late afternoon and set up our tent here at this campground- see the temple in the background?

By the time we got to town to eat, we had missed the yummy turkey dinner at the local LDS church so we had to settle for some turkey sandwiches. They held us over until we got to our snacks at the pageant.

Isn't the temple beautiful?

I had only been to the pageant once and it has been a long time, but instead of waiting on a blanket for hours like before we sat in these chairs. It worked out pretty good.

The next morning we walked around the temple- pretty cool view, huh?

And these pictures are for Melanie and Scott. Lucy would not sit with the boys so Dan finally just set her there and quickly hid behind the kids so I could take the picture. Silly girl. Silly daddy. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

Ian turned 8!

Having had 2 kids turn 8 years old now, I can say that that is one of my favorite ages. There is something very special about this time in a child's life. I just love it. Ian is an adorable little guy and I think these pictures capture some of that.

Isn't he just the cutest Cub Scout? He is so excited about this new world.

There was such a sweet feeling at his baptism, I am thankful for that very special moment in our family's life.

Ian's soccer

Ian loves to play sports. Here is his last Indoor Soccer team. He is quite a good little player and fun to watch. Basketball is next...

Ice castles

These Ice Castles were way cool. Todd, Lucy, Grandma and I went with the Biberstons and I want to take the rest of my family next year. It is amazing how frozen water can look so very cool.

Babe the Sheep Pig

Grandma took us and the Biberstons to this play. It was in a theater in the round so everything was very up close. A few of the kids even got to act the part of some sheep. It was hilarious.

Our Jimmer claim to fame...

Ok, while I'm kind of on the subject of Jimmer, here are some pictures of us meeting him (and the team) and getting their autographs. (See another favorite in the background? #4). This was at a season opener where the team played against each other, so I don't know that Jimmer was as big then as he is now. I am sure the boys would just die to get this chance again. Jimmer was so very kind and gracious. He signed a hat for all 3 boys in our family.

Oh, and one adorable shot of Ian at a game...

Jimmer-mania

We got this poster from the newspaper- the boys just love it. Maybe one day we'll get tons of pictures taken with the real him like the Marions have! Go Cougars!

A while ago

Ok, so these pictures were taken back in Dec, but I really like them. I love being a mother and I love these cuties.
