Happy Friday, friends. ☺
Before I get to this week's funnies, I want to thank all of you for your well-wishes and expressions of sympathy over the loss of my dog last week. It meant a lot to read your stories and realize that I'm not alone. Thank you for helping me get through a difficult time.
I have a baby update as well. No, she's not here yet, but my due date (April 11) is getting closer. My mom is here now to help me with my two older kids, and having her here has definitely taken some of my stress away. I still have a few more things I need to do to get ready for my daughter's arrival, but I'm happy to say I'm feeling a little more relaxed now.

It was an unusual one here, mainly because of all the cancellations caused by the Polar Vortex, and I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend of writing, art journaling, and shopping for a crib and other baby items. Well, the Christmas rush continues here at my house—and I suspect it does at your house as well. I'm a little closer to being done with buying gifts, but I do have moments of panic when I think about all of the other things that still have to get done. Oh, well. Happy Friday, friends!
I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. Mine are to rest up for next week, which is going to be very busy. My son will be finishing his summer karate class, and my daughter will be going to dance camp each day, which means lots of running around for me. I also need to start packing for our annual trip back to Michigan. It seems like the summer is going by way too fast. It needs to slow down!

I'm exhausted! Yesterday I spent about fifteen hours burning DVDs from our camcorder. I finally fell into bed around two a.m., and then I was back up at five to wash a shirt my son needed for his Flag Day presentation at school today. Bedtime can't come soon enough!
