Haven't post in a while so yea I'm back with a few kpop songs I really like recently :)
f(x) - Red Light
Holy. I really love this comeback! My favourite comeback for them so far. The music video is brilliant and although like a lot people, I didn't like this song at first, but after listening to it a few times I'm enjoying it a lot now. All the members look amazing in this mv! Especially Amber with her fringe down finally. She's really good-looking I know, but I'm just not a fan of her fringe being gelled up all the time. I'm in love with her floppy hair in Red Light *u* Ignoring all those who said that they look creepy cuz they only have an eye with makeup but not the other but I love the idea it's like you can see both sides of them. The album's really good too, I love Rainbow and Paper Heart :)
GOT7 - A
HONESTLY I DIDN'T EXPECT TO LIKE THIS. Sort of avoided this before cuz I thought it's the typical mv again. Well it kinda is but I really love this mv and the song like wow. Especially the choreography! It's so cute and fun, not your usual pelvic thrusting, crotch-touching dance in an attempt to act sexy. Everything is so happy and nice, love their smiles!
B1A4 - Solo Day
I'm quite shocked at how there's only a million views? Seriously??? I've never been a huge fan of B1A4 but I really like this comeback, it's their best imo. IT'S SO GOOD THE CONCEPT AND THE FILMING WOAH. If I can hug a music video I'll definitely give this a hug. Love the song and everything it's perfect.
Tiny-G - Ice Baby
Catchy, and I like the lyrics a lot (because at least they make sense unlike some other mv... aimed at a particular mv but I'm not gonna say which) The only awkward thing about this mv is that it's supposed to be quite a sad song but they're smiling way too happily when they dance hahaha
AOA - Short Hair
It's actually my first time listening to AOA. When they debut I was just so sick of all the new groups coming out I didn't really care anymore. I don't really have the time to care anyway haha. But I decided to give their latest song a try and I love the catchy chorus :D
Huh Gak & Eunji - Short Hair
Another short hair song! I don't really understand some part of the story for the mv despite watching it a few times already but it's cute I guess...? :) Lovely song it makes me feel happy idk the lyrics though I'm just assuming it's a happy one heh.
Infinite - Back
Being an inspirit it really pains me to say this but, the concept here is really overused in the kpop industry :\ Well at least I like the song! The soft melodious beginning of the song is very charming *o*
god - Saturday Night
Very interesting (and funny) mv paired with a catchy song. Love the story behind the mv too, there's an explanation somewhere if you don't understand Korean sorry I'm too lazy to type it out haha.
I hope fun things happen in my life soon so I can update my blog properly instead of just music videos all the time haha.
15& - Sugar
I love this song a lot it's so catchy and fun! The girls really look like they're enjoying themselves, I like their little "sprinkling" hand movement in the chorus it's so cute, and also the scene where their car broke down and they tried hitchhiking haha. Jimin looks really bubbly and Yerin feels more composed and matured :)
Orange Caramel - Abing Abing
I can't- I just love their songs [breaks down] For someone who dislike the colour pink (well scientifically, pink doesn't exist), cute catchy songs are my weakness ugh. Didn't really like the song at first but um..... yea. It's just a commercial they're doing for Baskin Robbins I heard?
Infinite - Last Romeo
It hurts for me not to dedicate a post to MY FAVOURITE BAND's comeback but ugh this just isn't my favourite music video from them. My first impression was quite :\ since I had like HUGE expectation from them and the vid was sort of...typical? Heard that there was more to the music video like involving ships and sea or something? I'm not sure but they changed the concept after the sewol incident so yea. Well. Things happen. Love my boys :')
Taeyang - Eyes, Nose, Lips
Fangirls are gonna love this. (you know what I mean) Well I'm not a huge fan (don't hit me) so I'll just say I love the music here it's perfect to listen to on a rainy weather while you snuggle up in the corner of your bed thinking about sad stuff.....
4MINUTE - Whatcha Doin' Today
This music video is almost 3 months old already. But after 3 months, I finally like it after I settle myself down and watch the vid properly. I love how bright and fun it is and well I guess it is catchy /coughs/ Sort of avoided it at first because it looks like another typical mv where they tried to be sexy (and frankly, it's a little typical) but I really like the bright colours haha
Phantom - Seoul Lonely ft. Gain
Good collaboration. I love the harmony of their voices.
Boyfriend - Obsession
Haven't heard anything new from them in a long time and we're getting two music videos this time! Not a huge fan and I don't really fancy their group's name but I like their songs :x Yea I'm in for anything catchy heh. Can't wait for the second one the teaser looks good. They look so different from when they first debut now (no I didn't like their first mv but yes the rest after that)

I felt kinda confused about the story though... but it's still good! Soohyun is really cute as a stalker in the mv haha. Well actually the entire album is amazing itself. People should listen to all their songs :D

I love this song a lot!!! He has this amazing and soulful voice (imo) I wish I could comment on the music video but I didn't really pay much attention to it (SORRY) I just listened to the song and it's great so yea heh ^^ I may listen to all sorts of genres but it's this kind of catchy + emotional song that gets to me the most, kinda like Daughtry's Crawling Back To You kind of songs.
IU - My Old Story
UGH IU. She's so pretty. But lemme talk about her voice. It's so cute, yet so matured at the same time? Her singing voice is always so ~flowy~ This song kinda feels like a lullaby, in a good way. On a side note, isn't the guy in this mv from Rooftop Prince? I saw him recently in the kdrama You're All Surrounded too haha (well I think it's him it looks like it was him) :)
Ladies' Code - Make Me Go Crazy
People has been telling me to listen to Ladies' Code when I ask for recommendation but unfortunately, none of their songs really click with me...? Well I came across this song recently, it's from a kdrama called Flower Grandpa Investigative Team. I don't watch the drama but I quite like the song I guess. Finally listen to them so yep haha :x It kind of makes me feel like watching the drama but I'm so lazy /coughs

Calling out to fans of Suzy and Kim Soohyun!! Look at this amazing commercial from Bean Pole starring the both of them where Suzy did a cover for an old song called "Wind, Wind, Wind". Ugh they look so good together I miss the Dream High days :') They should be in another drama together!

Super catchy right from the start, I'm pretty impressed by this charming young man. I've heard of him in the past but his name doesn't really catch my attention enough for me to try listening to his songs (yes I'm regretting now I shouldn't have judge him and his songs by his name I'm sorry ;;) I love the music video A LOT it's so playful and really fun to watch :D Hoya did the rapping and he would have looked better if not for that shirt-dress/ long shirt whatever it's called I don't like it lol
Apink - Mr. Chu
Looks kinda typical but ugh I have a thing for cutesy catchy happy songs they just grow on me all the time idk howwww. Didn't like it at first but it started playing nonstop in my head so.... The vocal's nice (and Eunji's really pretty btw- well I may be biased cuz I love Reply 1997)
Orange Caramel - Catallena
I LOVE THIS MUSIC VIDEO SO, SO, SO MUCH. I'm not a huge fan of Orange Caramel, but I listen to their songs a lot and really like a few of their songs cuz they're just so catchy and... different from the usual kpop songs we get these days?? They put in a lot of effort into their music videos too, the costumes and concept is just amazing. This needs more views!
High4 & IU - Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms
Definitely a song for the spring season! High4 sounds great, paired with IU's amazing vocal. A very soothing and comfortable song it makes me feel happy haha
Akdong Musician - 200%
The siblings duo is back with 200%! I love their voice, especially Soohyun's. Her voice is so... silky?? Very comfortable to listen to. They're both so cute I feel upset reading comments on their videos saying they aren't good-looking and stuff like that. I mean. UGH. Mean people who who can't even sing talking trash behind their anonymous icons? PFFT.
Kenshi Yonezu - Eine Kleine (YES I KNOW THIS ISN'T KPOP BUT I JUST WANT TO POST IT excuse me)
I don't listen to much Japanese songs outside of anime songs but this is awesome omg? It's so comfy (yea by now I know I love catchy/cute/comfortable songs lol) it's so nice to listen to and the video's really pretty with the cool art and all that like, wow. IT IS A VERY NICE SONG YES I LOVE
I love Cher Lloyd's recent songs too, like Dirty Love and Sirens. Her songs always have a catchy beat - perfect to listen to when you're staying up late doing your homework (especially Math!) :D Listening to HAIM recently as well they're good I'm surprised I didn't know about them until this year??

Haze in Singapore came and went (okay not exactly 'went' since it's still kinda here but not as bad anymore?) I don't really concern myself with all those political matters regarding the haze, I'm just really pissed with the haze for messing up my face. I've had like 4 pimples ever since the haze started and well they're kinda fading already but ugh it's just annoying and the haze made my throat all dry no matter how many bottles of water I gulped down everyday thinking that the problem is with my health since I didn't know about the hazy world out there at first (I don't go out often these days and I don't look out of window so... it's like I was totally in my own world hahaha)
Huien came back from the US so I met up with her @ JEM, a mall that was recently opened in Jurong East. I like how JEM has Kinokuniya (just a small outlet though haha) and Muji :):) Back then the haze was still bad and you could even see it indoors hahaha
I hate how my arms look all fat and weird cuz of the angle lol.

Went back to sajc yesterday with Weiyan to get our alevel cert and sgc. Ahhhh I kinda miss my jc life. I didn't really like it much back when I was still studying there (lol I'm talking as if it was a few years ago when it was only last year) but now that I think about it, I should have been more enthusiastic back then and make more good memories idk?
Nevertheless, I still quite enjoyed my time in SA, being crazy, all the laughters, 'chionging' (/rushing) my work and assignments last second, my everyday "我要回家——"(/"I want to go homeeee" < I say this like a thousand times a day) "when is break hah" "I'm hungry" "got homework due today!?" "I want to sleep" All these probably sound very whiny but I don't say all that in a whiny way. Urrrhhhh I don't actually, whine [insert lots of coughing here cuz I'm awkward] AND YES I MISS WEARING THE SA UNIFORM TOO
Anyway, saw Eeron mugging by himself in the school cafe after we've gotten out cert and sgc from the general office. We actually went to the cafe cuz I wanted to see if any stores would be opened or something but nope they aren't :( But we saw Eeron "is that eeron?" "huh what... omg ya i think it's him" so we all kinda ended up chatting and catching up for a bit before leaving.
Went to town after that and loiter around Plaza Sing for a bit with wy before she has to meet up with her friends so I went to Kinokuniya @Taka and stayed there for like an hour or something I have no life I swear orz
I spent my time watching youtube videos (I just like watching random youtubers talking about random stuff lol and well I watch a lot kpop mvs too), running man and making tumblr themes. UGH TUMBLR THEMES. That reminds me I still have to go and fix my codes I've been slacking. Bah time to get back to work o/ I should post on blogskins soon I need to get the motivation daskjdkasld

It's been over a month since I last updated my blog (excluding the previous post from earlier on) and lots of things had happened I could have updated my blog but I TOTALLY FORGOT, with things like my desktop breaking down etc – bought a new laptop at the recent IT show @MBS I'm still trying to get used to having a new PC.
So now I decided to come back again, changed the layout too so that it would look more lively???
The last time I updated this blog (yes, excluding the previous post again) was when I was still new at work and a complete noob but now I'm only left with a month of contract for this job, still a noob though ;-;
Also, went to NUS open house with Sijia the day before. Had free ice cream, popcorn and candy floss (WHO DOESN'T LOVE FREE FOOD PLS) our tour guide for Tembusu College was nice too he kinda looked like somebody I know from work. Overall? At least now I have a better impression of NUS I guess... would try to apply for FASS (Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences) but I'm still rather confused over university modules and all those stuff ._.

I haven't mentioned about receiving my A'Level results riiiiight. 1st March was a faithful day I wore a pair of slippers with a normal shirt and shorts and went back to school to get my result slip. I witnessed a lot people crying, either tears of joy or tears of regret. Well as for my results, let's just say I love showing off how much I had improved from my prelims (it was almost straight Us that time) but the improvement was not enough. Despite the huge jump in my results from prelims to alevel, I still have a few horrible grades I wish I could scrape off from the slip.
(at least I have a good pass for my General Paper which was totally unexpected MY ENGLISH SUCKS IDK WHAT HAPPENED)
However, it's gonna be really hard to apply for universities with this sort of horrendous results. Oh well I would just give it a try I guess. I really hope I can get into some mass comm course djskjdksasd. I WANT to get in. As lame as this may sound, I don't want to be some clueless kid anymore, I want to know what I want in life. A clear goal, and work for it.

Started two mangas (very) recently! Shingeki no Kyojin and Denpa Kyoushi :)
Shingeki no Kyojin is more serious and hardcore (?) about giants threatening the existence of mankind as most of them devour human for fun.... *coughs* so sometimes the manga can be kinda scary you see legs/hands getting bitten off (yikes) but the story was great and really interesting.
However, the characters' development was kinda weak (or maybe I'm just slow idk) it feels like there are too many characters popping out of nowhere, characters who were insignificant at first but was eventually revealed to be somebody important. I don't like how some characters look alike it's really confusing.
I really love Rivaille though HE'S SO CUTE DSKDJLS /EXCUSE ME
On the other hand, Denpa Kyoushi is less serious (?) and really fun so reading it after snk helps to balance myself out haha.
Kagami Junichirou calls himself an ADW "only Able to Do what he Wants" and despite being a genius at Physics, is a huge otaku he spends days holing up in his room updating his blog and was one day forced by his sister to work as a teacher thus his adventure begins! I'm kinda like him, except for the genius at Physics part *chokes*

Well I actually wanted to post this on my blog a few days ago but I was kinda lazy so- but anyway, do support Infinite H! WHOOP YADONG♥ Hoya looks as handsome as ever and Dongwoo the awesome fashionista (I love his earrings omg), is looking especially cute with his pink hair /flails

Oh yea and I just finished watching Infinite's Ranking King yesterday (I think?) I HAVE OVERWHELMING FEELS FOR THEM NOW. I mean, I have always liked them (from their Nothing's Over days cuz I was fascinated by the fact that they used toilet papers - or paper rolls, whatever it is - in the MV lol), but never really try to get to know them better cuz I was busy with school and etc and I'm happy that I have the time to watch variety shows with them in it now so yay!

Finally watched Wreck-It Ralph yesterday with Ben Chia! OMG I LOVE THE MOVIE SO MUCH I'M SO GLAD I WATCHED IT THANKS TO THE MOTIVATION FROM WEIYAN WHO COULDN'T STOP SPAZZING OVER HOW PERFECT THE MOVIE IS. Posting three posters of the movie here cuz all the characters are fantastic ahsdjhakhdak /fangirls
The movie's mainly about a guy called Ralph who belongs to an arcade game called "Fix-It Felix Jr.". Ralph is like the bad guy of the game and thus nobody in the game likes him. Feeling left out, Ralph decided that he'll leave the game and go to other games to win a gold medal, thinking that people would finally accept him if he gets one.
I wasn't expecting much of the movie initially it just seemed okay to me until Weiyan watched it and told me about how awesome it is AND THAT THERE WOULD BE A PLOT TWIST. That got me kinda excited too so yepppp. I love how there are great female characters like Vanellope and Calhoun. Vanellope is like THE CUTEST THING EVER I LOVE HER SO MUCH. I just wanna hug her tightly and pinch her cheeks and make friends with her ahsdjkhk. AND CALHOUN. SHE'S SO HOT AND BADASS... and awkward. WELL the guys are awesome too, but at first I didn't really like Ralph because he's kinda annoying going around disrupting other games but he got better as the movie went on. As for Felix... I didn't expect him to be such a nice guy, I thought he would be some kind of horrible character who's just pretending to be nice. Him and Calhoun omg...
The plot twist was quite unexpected. I don't think anyone would quite expect it unless you're really, really into that show and your mind is 101% creative ._.
Overall it was a really great movie, I didn't know that Vanellope would be so involved, thought she would only be a passing character. It was kinda disappointing the fact that there wasn't much Street Fighter stuff in the movie too, but I managed to catch glimpses of Chunli and they showed a little of Ryu and Ken too whoop ^^

I've been seeing people talking about this song for a while already and now I finally bother to look for the mv AND NOW I'M ADDICTED TO THE SONG HELP
The mv's great too, especially the ending. I LOVE THE ENDING LOL. It raised a few eyebrows among the viewers and I find the comments really entertaining. Everyone was confused whether the main guy was actually in love with the girl or his guy best friend (I secretly hope for the latter /coughs) due to the weird ending. There are those who insist that the main guy character was in love with the girl and decided that he shouldn't have let the girl get in between him and his best friend, which explains the ending where the guy tore their photo and put himself beside his best friend while overlapping the girl (whoops). On the other hand, there are also people who was asking people to stop being so homophobic, claiming that the main guy's gay and that he's happy for the girl but annoyed when he saw that his guy friend is happy.
Oh well who knows haha. The song's really great! :)

Started reading Liar Game and Battle Royale earlier on (not the movie/dramas, I'm talking about the mangas) I think I'm going crazy excuse me. Liar Game would be more appealing to the majority out there since the plot's really cool and the main guy's a con man OMG AKIYAMA IS A GENIUS PLEASE *A* (I'M GONNA WATCH THE DRAMA SOON WHEN I HAVE THE TIME BECAUSE I JUST FOUND OUT THAT TODA ERIKA IS THE ACTRESS FOR THE MAIN FEMALE CHARACTER OMG OMG OMG /FANGIRLS)
As for Battle Royale... naw it'll make most readers uncomfortable I think. I'm okay with it, though some scenes really grossed me out, like how their intestines fell out when they got shot and stuff like that. My favourite character is Sugi ahdjashdjk ^^ and omg Shinji Mimura... as sexually active as he may be, he's kiiiiind of clever, making up plans etc. Oh come on, a student who can MAKE A BOMB??? WOAHHH I'M IMPRESSED OKAY. Too bad he got killed by Kiriyama. He's really good at survival though, even though he got shot and his stomach is like falling out (literally lol)(ignore this if you're uncomfortable lol) he managed to tolerate the excruciating pain he's going through and found a duct tape and taped his wound up. Here again, I'm impressed, heh. Only at chapter 66 though (in one day hehe)

I remember how I was originally searching for the original version of the song last year, since my school used it for a couple mass dance during our orientation then. Even though I found Cee Lo Green's version, I found this cover too and I was totally impressed by this girl's version of the song and has been kind of a fan of her music ever since then. I can't even remember how the original one sounds like anymore, whenever I feel like singing this song it would be to Tiffany's version, heh. This cover was from over a year ago and I'm so proud that she has improved since then and that she's also getting more and more well-known :)
