Pelosi: Republican Jews 'Being Exploited'

"And they're smart people."

9:55 AM, Jul 28, 2012 • By DANIEL HALPER

In an interview, House minority leader Nancy Pelosi said that she believes Republican Jews are "being exploited," but she was sure to add, "And they're smart people."

Res Ipsa Loquitor

Pelosi made the comments in response to whether Jewish voters would support President Barack Obama in the presidential election later this year.

"I think [Obama] will" win the Jewish vote, Pelosi said, when pressed on the subject. "I think that he will, because the fact is when the facts get out. You know, as many of the Republicans are using Israel as an excuse, what they really want are tax cuts for the wealthy. So Israel, that can be one reason they put forth."

The interviewer then added, "That’s why some of the Republican Jewish supporters are really active."

Pelosi responded, "Well, that’s how they’re being exploited. And they’re smart people. They follow these issues. But they have to know the facts. And the fact is that President Obama has been the strongest person in terms of sanctions on Iran, which is important to Israel. He’s been the strongest person on whether it’s Iron Dome, David’s Sling, any of these weapons systems and initiatives that relate to Israel. He has been there over and over again."

The interview was conducted by Bloomberg's Al Hunt

Note: William Kristol: "Pelosi: President Obama's Been to Israel 'Over and Over Again.'"

Al Hunt is still alive?  Is he partrnering with Dan Rather and  HelenThomas?

Pelosi- Obamacare is a "right!"

                     Pelosi— you stupid berk.

                               Obamacare Is ‘A Right’

Pelosi made her statement that Obamacare is a “right” in response to a reporter who asked her about a CBS News/New York Times poll that showed 41 percent of Americans want the Supreme Court to overturn the law in its entirety while another 27 percent want the Supreme Court to throw out the individual mandate and keep the rest of the law.

And this too, you carbunkled berk!

previously

“Why do you think that is and what does  that say in terms of the chance that the Supreme Court will strike it down?” the reporter asked Pelosi.

“Well, I'm very proud of the Affordable Care Act,” Pelosi responded. “I think that the understanding of it has been jeopardized by misrepresentations that have been put out there relentlessly largely by the industries that have--I shouldn't say not benefited because everybody benefits from this health care bill--but who ... STOP IT YOU- YOU SOW! [Obamacare Is ‘A Right’]

I got sidetracked thinking about how many truly reprehensible democrat women I've suffered over the years.  It's an endless exercise however.

Ding Dong! The Bitch is dead. Which old Bitch? The Wicked Bitch!
Ding Dong! The Wicked Bitch is dead.
Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked Bitch is dead. She's gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know
The Wicked Bitch is dead!

Pelosi insisted that Democrats have been committed to fiscal responsibility long before Republicans caught on.

“Pay as you go has been an initiative that has been with us for 30 years,” she said, adding that the rules that Republicans will approve tomorrow will ignore that provision. “Now we have to fight this fight again.”

Unassuming Nancy Liked the Background

Who was that turkey again?
I forgot her name

As she prepares to relinquish power, Nancy Pelosi believes not enough attention has been paid to her role as the first woman to hold the post of Speaker of the House.  "I was the first woman speaker," Pelosi tells the New York Times.  "It didn't get that much play. And I'm not a publicity seeker, so it was OK with me."
Who is that turkey named Pelosi?

  • President Obama: Nancy Pelosi has been an 'outstanding partner'

President Barack Obama indicated Friday he didn’t believe Democrats needed new leaders in Congress, even after his party took what he has called a “shellacking” in the midterm elections. Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who wants to remain the top Democratic House leader even as some moderate Democrats urge her to step aside in the wake of the new Republican majority, “has been an outstanding partner for me,” Obama said at a news conference in Seoul.

Pelosi, Van Hollen predict victory for Dems Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Chris Van Hollen are stating flat out that Democrats will hold onto the House, despite predictions of a GOP wipeout. "We're on pace to maintain the majority in the House of Representatives," Pelosi just told reporters. "Millions of Americans are proving the Washington pundits wrong," Van Hollen said.

Ruh-Roh for 'crats

So chug-chug-a-lug
In 2008 Scott Elliott's Election Projection annoyed me. Kept dashing my hopes ( to Scott's ultimate credit)  by failing to confirm upside McCain  projections from other services.   Bastid!  I will characterize EP as very cautious, meaning no wild swings.  To the extent that I detect a bias, it leans Democrat (I see bias in everything). That said, here's a few paragraphs from a  subscriber newsletter  received 30 minutes ago.

The House picture, at least in terms of which party will be the majority come January, is clearing up considerably.  Barring something crazy, the GOP will win at least the 39 seats they need to become the party in power in the House - you can take that to the bank from The Blogging Caesar.  The question in my mind now is just how many they can win.  Claims of 70 to 100 may be far-fetched, but I'd be surprised if Republicans don't eclipse the 52 seats they won in 1994.  How high the ceiling is, no one knows.  When John Dingell is in trouble in Michigan, it has to be very very high.

In the Senate, Sharron Angle, Dino Rossi and John Raese are realizing gains in the polls that put the GOP in decent shape to take the majority there as well.  I am not declaring a Senate GOP majority yet, but the odds are improving.  I'd say they are around 40% now.  That's a marked improvement from the very long odds we saw after Christine O'Donnell won the Delaware primary a few weeks ago.  With Angle moving ahead of Harry Reid this week, the projection for the Senate is deadlocked at 50-50.  And if Rossi's position in the polls out of Washington stay where the latest surveys put him, that seat could be colored red shortly.

Nazi Pelosi

-she said with no sense of irony-
"There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded. How is this being ginned up!" -  Nazi Pelosi

8-26-2006
Audio of Pelosi's comments was posted by KCBS-AM-FM which ignored Pelosi's call to investigate the opposition to the mosque in its summary of her remarks--likewise for the San Francisco Chronicle.
