Attendance whole day myself.

KARAKAMEN Staff Meal today!! =DD My favourite ramen. Kae-dama-ed.

Wow, almost one week of afternoon shift. Finally one morning shift, and it's FULL day! Quite hard to wake up early morning. Afternoon again tomorrow. Full day attendance today. No Matsuoka-san. A lot of new people, everything moved quite slow. The queue U-turned, but the total number of guests not a lot. Wah, see the queue so long, must admit that I really felt stress. There was an instance when I thought I don't want to attend anymore. I can't believe I pull through. Luckily no happy hour, if not even more confusing. Customers are generally nice and patient today. Only one or two groups which had black faces while waiting.

Actually I've seen it quite a number of times. Groups of 4, confronting me, saying that they will never get a seat cos I keep letting 2s go first. But luckily they were quite understanding, but still not that happy. I feel quite bad when they wait for so long too. I guess the reason why I don't really like attendance is that I don't like the responsibility, any wrong decision will make customers wait. But seriously speaking, being an attendance is a very good experience- both interaction with customers (and dealing) and planning of tables.

Nelvin reminded me that I was the most experienced or most senior (happened to be the oldest as well) of the floor staff. Helped him count money just now. First time counting. I learnt how to count a bit now. Yay, tally!

I don't know what is wrong with my wireless. There's some problem.

People are quitting again. Cos poly is opening soon. And soon there will only be us, the older people, left.

Why people keep mixing up Jiaxin and my name? Haha.

Don't know why.. My right top eyelid kept twitching since I started work in the afternoon just now. Especially when I just started work and now.

Today's attendance was quite okay. Quite fun actually. And plus it was a short day.

Friday's one was bad. I think cos I was tired and not in a very attendance mood.

Wow, these few days and coming few days, all afternoon shifts. Can get a lot of sleep. =D

Missed 6Joy's gathering today cos of work. Aww.

Omg, results is out in like 1/2 weeks' time? Can I not get it please? I haven't been thinking of it for these 3 months or so. I don't even want to think about that. And time passed so quickly. It is passing faster and faster. It's going to be payday again soon. So fast.

Jiaxin said JJ Lin came to our restaurant yesterday at 12plus. I started work at 4. So never see. =( Has seen many actresses/actors and DJs etc.

"One aka kae-dama, kae-dama" and everyone laughed. No, no, katameh. First thing I did for the day's work made so many people laugh at me. Then Gen-san was like "One kae-dama? Not two?" And he laughed at me till the end of the day.

Cleared almost all the houses in the first day. Father and mother's side. Di and I wore the same pattern of clothes- black/white checkered. And.. Many relatives thought I was the youngest in the family, they thought my younger brother was older than me. Lol. Maybe he is so much taller, that's why.


One of the houses is 50 storeys high. Went to the rooftop garden on the 50th floor.

Went only one house yesterday. Then had class gathering yesterday at Gensen's house. Saw quite a few without hair. Just talked and ate. Then Gensen treated us MOS.


After that, went PS. To continue with our surprise. Bought cake, and went Istana there to find Jiaxin, the birthday girl. Lighted the candles and walked around finding them. Lol. Wind quite strong, so had to cover the flame. Marilene looked quite funny. But the surprise was a success. Went Giraffe to eat after that.

Have work later. Not supposed to have. But anyway, so many days of break already. Just that I can't go for my primary school class gathering later. Oh well. Next time then.

That time I got a starry staff meal salad from Nick. Haha. A lot a lot of mayo!

CNY is coming.

Wednesday, I did attendance, GM and one of the ramen chef became customers and ate there, wearing their home clothes.

Yesterday, last order at 4. Got to eat whichever ramen we want as stuff meal. MISO TONKOTSU! That time we only got to try a small bowl. Kae Dama-ed. After the restaurant closed, we did some spring cleaning. Cleaned many places we normally won't clean. Restaurant closed for 3 days.

Almost broke many things yesterday. Haha. 2 teapot lids, one on table. One lid dropped from counter seat and didn't break! Wow. One whole tray nearly topple cos someone helped to remove two glasses, causing it to be unstable. (好心做坏事) One glass of ice lemon tea topple on tray and spilled on me. Hahah. Luckily glass never drop and break, saved in time. Haha.

Reunion dinner was filling. Steamboat. =)

Off day today! Went Jurong Point with mum and aunt.

Work yesterday. Attendance without Matsuoka-san. Quite stressful, but it was a Monday, so no big groups. Quite handle-able. And with the help of the other people, I survived. Only one hour break yesterday, all the other full day workers got one hour break. But never mind lar. Weird leh, my throat got better, more voice, when I shout. Haha. Better than Saturday.

Oh, that day I saw a super selfish mother. Cos she was in a big group of 7, and they say they can be seated separately, 3/4. She wanted to take a seat (with the 4), didn't want to queue up. She say if the other 3 seats are available, just call her (3 other yet to come) but manager didn't allow. So she asked her son to queue up, while she went to sit down. So... -.-

And some customers are really unreasonable.

Marilene wants the T31 video last year. Found it, and watched it again. It sure brings back memories. I miss the times.

Work work.

Worked full for the past 3 days. Tired. My voice is hoarse again. Full day again tomorrow. Yesterday was the worst. Only half an hour break, cos too busy. Plus the President came, had to eat in the kitchen. Ramen runner from afternoon. Fujibe-san suddenly so nice. Haha, he said I could drink anything from the kitchen. Then towards the end, last order, he helped me carry all the remaining ramen.

I feel like complaining about some stuff, but never mind. I just feel like saying slow reaction can cause accidents. Cos that person knocked my arm, and the soup burn my thumb a bit. But it's okay now.

Attendance today, with a weird voice, will zaosia anytime. But busy time, I did server/waitress. Cos most of the servers are new, and unsure.

Pamela came and met me today, after work. Went to eat and chat, updated one another. The last time we met were so long ago. All our friends' job are so different.

I realised, I haven't seen my brothers for quite a few days.

Feb.

It's Feb already. So fast. I'm working in this restaurant for almost 2 months already. How time flies.

Finally did some shopping yesterday with mum.

Last Tuesday, went ECP with Jiaxin, Marilene, Clement and Marcus. Finally cycled.

Last Thursday, was the grand opening for Mandarin Gallery.

Out of the 5 from our batch, there are only 3 left.

Work later. Attendance is really not that bad after all, depending.
