I think it was super amusing that when I told tmx that I didn't see any hot guys in the registration she asked me why I bothered to find a future husband in fass. Then later she pointed to the nus alumni magazine's picture of the bukit timah campus and said that keeping th mag was important because it showed where her future boyfriend could be found. Lols.
When tmx and I were leaving nus, there were these two foreign students. I think they're american and they were quite high. So they saw all the newly matriculated students and were like saying put your hand up if you're a freshman and everyone pretended that they didn't hear. SUPER SAD !!! They weren't hot but they sounded really fun and I wanted to befriend them. Sigh. If only I had mich, qua and xunny with me. I can totally see us being mad with other mad people..
Anyway, registration was fine, good thing we turned up early. Matric fair was just a bunch of faces thrusting flyers in our hands and making us feel rather obligated to give them our contact details. Oh wells. Apart from that, the day wasn't eventful, ho hum. I did manage to see arti and crystal and donna and andrea (and her cedar np friend charlene) and I've been told that serene from the sops is also coming to fass..

I think my anger dissipates pretty quickly. So now I'm just disappointed. I suppose nowadays people just aren't allowed to make mistakes anymore. Maybe there just isn't enough room in our hearts for forgiveness.

I forgot to bring my phone with me to the fiesta yesterday and I was panicking because I tell you, bukit batok/jurong east/boon lay was this whole new dimension. I might as well have been in another world. I can't believe I have to spend the next 4 years getting used to the west. Rah.
Anyhoo, I was fortunate because gwei appeared shortly after I reached. (I was worried that they'd all change the meeting time and stuff) We met jh, pyong and mr to get a gift for nessa's parents (they kindly sponsored our tickets and sent us to the mrt). Pyong was drunk (and disgruntled with her too sexy voice) on oldchangkee lime juice. Lols, west mall has loads of surprises. We just laughed in every store we went to because we kept choosing presents to buy for aggie and gerald instead of aggie's parents. HAHAH. =X The couple bears were cute and would've made a nice gift. Then we had to run unglamly to the bus haha.
I tell you, the Church of St Mary of the Angels is BEAUTIFUL. Its architecture is very modern, quite minimalist. (okay modern is minimalist I suppose) Ahh, it's just very beautiful and it makes you feel all reverent. (okay fine all churches make you feel reverent. haha, they just really enhance God's presence) Anyhoo, the concert was not bad. Of course the highlight was SFX. They're not a big choir but they're good ! Very full sound. Hearing them made me miss singing sacred music. Our 'almost' musica sacra category at xiamen last year with the concert songs. Gaude, justorum, dc circuit song (till now I'm still unsure of the title haha) and zoltar. Oh mans..
I spent the remainder of the night on a train back from jurong east (to yck) gossiping with mr and jh, hurhur. Interesting tidbits eh.. Oh and this is quite random but from my observations, I've noted that zkai is very outrageous. Hahahah. Laugh all you want but someone is just handsome and I'm entitled to eyecandy okay.
Zx wants to borrow my econs notes but they're somewhere out there. I'm too lazy to dig stuff out of the store room. Rah. And coming week hasn't been settled. Am annoyed, hmph. I'm quite okay with piano lessons (now that I'm practising haha but am abit afraid of tacs [amadeus] pracs because I'm still unfamiliar with the pieces ! I don't want to be yelled at by gtc =/)
I'm finally done with happy pots. It's not happy at all mans. OHMYGAHHH AM SO SAD OKAYYYYY. Goes into a whine. Rah. It's uber confusing and I'm so sad because many of my favourite characters died. Oh rawr. Sadness. And I should save money instead of buying pretty shoes. Continues in my whine.
Going to have to register tomorrow and I know not what is going on. I'll be seeing the class girls on tues, yay ! And I haven't met the stalkers in a month ! And SHOPPING DB !!! Haha, so much for saving money. Meow.
I don't know about tomorrow, but I know who holds my hand.

It's been awhile ayes. Have been too lazy and tired the past few days. Rather eventful week !
23-24 July
It was short. I was bored. Can you imagine 4hours of straight stoning confined to a chair ? Meh. But it was a good thing that for both days, I had crazy people to entertain me. Ohana gossip hurhur. I was fed very exciting updates. My gratitude goes out to gwei, xiaokai, sheryl, the plumber (he should get an S name too), pigboys, nessa and uncle gpt. I desperately had to fend off hp7 spoilers, mehh. Oh, and zongyi the mad pianist was seriously madly entertaining. And yay for miss zhu ! <3 I also owe ms ang for her laptop and mr ong for his aq help. I think I found another prettyboy to look at ! It makes two. Hahah. PYONG IS EVIL, HMPHS. Ah.. It's funny that on my second/last day, I met minli, also relief teaching. (I met her at temasek sem) The other RT was quite nice, I didn't catch his name. They had lunch with ashvini and tanned pe guy (ruixin ? something xin) but I had class, oh wells. If I do go back next week, maybe I'll have people to lunch with who's my age, haha.

We had our pten dinner. Four poor souls. Hurhur, I brought them to amk hub. We had a foodcourt dinner and then we went to the playground opposite courts. (: We swing swinged and sang. We had themes- romantic, oldies, bimbo, biatched up.. Haha, that's xunny for you. Then we climbed the rock wall and conquered mount vertigo. On our way to the mrt, we walked past the plains of rohan and thought about the quest to dispose of the one onion ring. Lols.
26 July
Our back to school cool shopping trip with qua and mich was COOL. We walked around bugis street (they bought jeans, I used fatness as an excuse to save 30 bucks), then mich brought us to haji lane where we checked out 2nd hand stores and expensive boutiques that had fishes and turtles (in a bathtub and a washbasin) and cats (yes, two walking around the store). But the gentrified shophouses were uber cool. I love how they're designed. Have to go back again with my camera. Then we had apple strudel (glee :D) and walked all 7 floors of the Icon near bugis. Which was pretty much empty/closing down. Sad. We went back to bugis street where I got a beautiful pocket watch (for five bucks, BEAT THAT) and we had old chang kee for dinner. I got a nice cardigan thingy at the nearby this fashion and after that we walked all the way to the esplanade for the natl. acappella competition semi finals. It was very entertaining, they are all really good. Wednesday (HAHA NONEXISTENT) doesn't stand a chance. ): Omgahhd, and we were so entertained by graces/kiki's act siao choir junior we saw at the concert this year. HAHAHAHHA. Sorry. But he's talented, I'll give you that. But anyway, we think we saw jiayan. Oh mans, she was fabulous. AM SO PROUD :D She was the sop2 sl and very nice (and aunty, haha). How she's blossomed. I feel so inferior, I can't do pop rah. We were even discussing making a mika spoof video and a whole ooooooooo (bimbo whine) series to become famous on youtube and annoy the hell out of xunny and win an oscar. HAHAHAHA. So yes, we had a very fun filled day.

Nothing much. Had crystal jade with my mother, bought random hangten shirt.. My father got the job he wanted, Thank God (: Was watching our music extravaganza. Lols, we're good for a sec school choir. But our musical.... HAHA. Oh wells, it was super fun doing the abba songs. Was watching the nhk news on youtube (another computer), super hilarious ! Xiaokai is drunk, jasmine is aunty and howard is howard. Hurhur. I also watched the farewell video and I tell you, I could feel a tear coming on as I re-lived the nonsensical concert, the glory of xiamen and the madness in malacca. Ahhh... I also watched play! symphony videos (why oh why did nobody record us in the esplanade, rah). I MISS THE MUSIC !!! Meep.
(: Not one of the prettyboys but conversation (however short) with him will make my day, haha. And this (something else entirely) is getting weirdly unhealthy. Ponders. And yes, I am annoyed but I want to settle things. Because as much as I cannot take honest criticism, I appreciate it. (I suppose you could see it that way) And and, YOU. What a cow. I detect a pattern. A trend. And I sense my intelligence insulted. Then again, I could just be over thinking. Yes yes, I'm not crazy I'm just a little unwell.

I've resolved not to read msn nicks and most blogs. If I catch anyone so much as breathing a word about it, I'll throw a tantrum. Like, a major B.F. Hahahhaa. Seriously. I don't like knowing the ending of stories especially one capable of sending shivers down the spine. And it's the conclusion too. I hope I don't accidentally overhear anything at prac or on monday.
I've checked the nus leave of absence policy. I'm using the beeg money needed for italy as an excuse to stop spending so much unnecessarily. All the signs had better point to a yes..

Three am on a saturday morning !
I went for a ride around my estate. The block of flats in the mirror is part of punggol. The white block belongs to sengkang. Hurhur, separated by a highway.
I like this picture. The find of the day was a bunch of pigeons (and some crows I think) roosting on unused LRT tracks.
Not bad eh ? Hurhur. I just blew almost 70 bucks on clothes. And I didn't even have to step out of the house. (except to do atm transfers) RAWWR. Am not too pleased with self. In fact, I think I'd spend less if I were outside. Oh wells. I'm pleased that I didn't just splurge on basics which I can just get from bugis. Anyhoo, db and pten, WE NEED A BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING TRIP HELLO ! Jeans and polos.Am mighty confused by the whole noos MC system. I glad that I know four other aunties (tmx, humz, yl and bimbolim) to struggle through the start of school with. Qua too. She's not an aunty though, haha. I find that I'm very interested to read lit and history modules. But I have a sinking feeling that how I eventually do in those areas will simply convince me to stick to geography. I THINK. Hahah.
I am in dire need of moolah. Maybe I should jump onto the annoying bandwagon and sell my clothes, lols. Plans to exercise (not so important) and practise piano (very important !!!) have so far been very unsuccessful. I did try ! I think the first half of the third page of cpe bach is improving. Other than that. Meow. And I still need to learn up the amadeus pieces yikes.

I'm annoyed because I cannot access the choir webshots page. And friendster is for some weird reason, censored again. Have only seen a few pattaya photos. I know I'll be totally envious when I look at the photos though, haha. ITALYYYY I WANT !!!
So today's trip to the airport was my fourth in two weeks. Kiki left for down under again. I'm going to miss her but I'm glad that she, graces and jema have each other. We were freezing at the airport and in the bus. We had a nice fish & co meal though. Our dinners are always accompanied by decent and/or retarded conversation. Hurhur.
The airport always brings back memories. I guess it's always a start to someplace. To adventures and journeys abroad, it's always the start and end point. It's the start of something new but it's also the final (local) destination. A plethora of emotions, served chilled. On one hand exhiliration for the path ahead but on the other hand, a mixture of fear and apprehension for what the future brings. It may not be that much so if said adventure isn't going to span a few months or years. I suppose I can't say much because I'm always doing the sending off rather than being the one sent off. But I do so enjoy the trepidation and excitement in the air as we are about to fly. Congregating at weird hours, checking in, travellatoring to the boarding gates and finally buckling in and bracing ourselves for the take off. I think it's just me and flying but I'm always paranoid about how it'll be the last time ever that I'll see singapore because I'm going to end up in a plane crash or something. =X Anyhoo, I really like the collective tingly feeling when traveling with friends. Gateway to freedom in a foreign land. Midnight romps and cup noodle parties. Cards, gossip, truths, dares and consecutive sleepovers. And not having to clear the messes you make ! Hurhur. But yes, with the competitions that we had, it also gave us direction and a purpose. As much as we wanted to play always, it was as much business as it was fun. (cos I mean, singing IS fun. but it's also hard work.) So yes, I really do hope riva del garda next year will be a reality. (I'll be a j4.. omgahh... haha)

I really liked waking up to the thunderstorm this morning. The rolling thunder was almost ground shaking. But I like the weather that way. I just don't like being out when it's pouring. I need to save money, practise on the piano and lose weight. Three steps to a happier me. LTG, lols.

I think I'm done with season 1 of scrubs. ): Sadness. Shall find more nonsense to entertain myself. Mucho thanks to xunny for harry potter 5 & 6. I now need to find someone to loan me 7. I'm sure there are going to be spoilers in people's msn nicks. Grrr.
It's nice how a 60 cent paddle pop can make me happy.
Kiki couldn't meet us today. ): The bunch of us (xunny, desmond, mich, sally and I) had a chompchomp dinner. :D We had sambal kangkong, carrot cake, stingray, sotong, satay, sugarcane juice and hokkien mee. (: I didn't feel very full. The pig that I am. But it was nice and not too expensive. Then we went to 7-11 to amuse ourselves with the ice cream and gag gifts there. We were especially amused by the expanding dinosaurs and THE OBEDIENT WALNUT. Darn, we should've bought the walnut. Haha. Then we went to macs to have ice cream and watch our deformed triceratops grow. It's incredible and fantastic ! Expands up to 1000% !!! LOLS. But in the plastic cup of macs water, it just grew slimy. We named him Chompchomp. Nothing happened. So the gag was on us. Funny how we can be so amused. And by our fake specs too. Ptenners are really amazing.
I'm craving for a moist warm brownie and vanilla ice cream. I so need to start jogging before school starts. That and my practise piano everyday plan. We'll see how it goes. I've yet to pee in a cup hmmms.
Oh, yesterday was the one month anniversary of PLAY!. Haha. Beloved choir kids, WHERE ARE MY SOUVENIRS !!! I want to go travelling. Nessa and I were talking about going on a cruise at the end of the year, haha.

I have this overwhelming urge to sing karimatanu. Ahh, fond memories of WCG.
It's funny how mdm ng was saying how I was always thinking of means and ways to skip choir, lols.
The kids are competing soon rawwwrrr ! I really hope they'll surprise themselves (and us) and rock pattaya. (: Results will be out tonight ! Am excited.
Have been very tired the past two days. It's funny because I don't really do much as a relief teacher. (very very short term one at that) Though two hour gp lectures can really be suicidal, lols. Quite exhausting. The stint wasn't eventful at all and I still feel weird taking j2s. I did get to have a very interesting lunch with ms zhu and mr seng though, lols.
I did manage however, to get out of school to send the kids off. (: I figured that since I couldn't enjoy a weekend beach getaway, I'd try to see them at the airport. By a lucky coincidence (I had to ask permission from a vp), mrs chong (the supposedly more leniant one) was in a meeting and I had to ask mrs tay. But but, it so happened that since her daughter michelle (I stood beside her for play symphony) was on the organising com and needed stopwatches, ms yiak had to drop by aj to collect them. So I got a lift to the airport thanks to ms yiak and her dad. (: It wasn't very eventful at the airport though. The airport always makes me feel nostalgic. Australia, sweden, prague, china, thailand, the various send offs, almost weekly trips when I was younger because my mother worked there..
Anyhoo, I received news that they were awarded a GOLD C at the Voyage of Songs in Pattaya. We're all very proud of how far they've come. :D Am going with a bunch of others to welcome them back on monday..
Was fortunate enough to get tickets to watch Harry Potter: OOTP at 5 bucks through uncle gpt. Some ajcouncil organised event at amk jubilee. It was like some excursion, lols. Qua and db came along too. The seats were not bad too and the cinema was not grimy or anything, haha. The show was... I don't know, I guess I can't really comment because I only read the book once and it was eons ago. Dolores Umbridge (totally biatched up) and Luna Lovegood (very cute, I liiike) got their parts down pat. But the way sirius slipped through the misty curtain was really sad. Like, that's it. Fullstop. Away into the mist, kind of thing.
Had pasta with nessa and gpt at causeway point after the movie. It's just hilarious how the poor uncle was bullied by us. It's a miracle if he ever has children. Lolss. We should dinner/exchange information again. (:

5. Managed to confirm my thurs and friday. (MONEY ! but I can't send the kids off, sadness)
Am meeting some 33 girls tomorrow. (: I want to buy threadless shirts ! And nice polos ! Rahh. And I want a nice semi-glam bag. The leathery kind. Darn, I am a bag-whore.

I just got off a 2.5 hour phone conference with nessa, uncle gpt and xiaokai. Ohmygahhhddd, I am uber amused with all that's going on. From the current choir situation to the s-h issue to the e-x thing to various other random things like love hexagons, harems (& girl pyramids) and happyness (can you say gheyness ? lols). We (more like just nessa and I) talked about cute guys (or rather the lack of since most of them turn out to be unstraight), how altos really rock and about how malacca was just hilarious. Ahh yes, we really should go out and catch up soon ayes (:

Graces will be reaching home on saturday morning and waising is still unconscious and may be need plastic surgery to reconstruct his face. Poor baby aliiive. ): I really hope he's alright.. Everyone please please pray for him !
The only good news I've received so far upon my return is that aunty charlene margaret 1000Z tan ming xia is joining me in fass ! WOOOOOTS :D Even though she wants to be anti social, I know things will be fun haha.
Didn't do much today but I went back to visit the choir. Tmx and I had a nice chat with mszhu who was so very amused by tmx's photos hahah. Pattaya's in less than a week so I hope the kids (haha) maintain the pace and make it count when it should.
On a completely random note, I like xiaokai's boyboy hair. Maybe I just like unkempt, bed-hair. Haha.

On a slightly brighter note, waising's operation to remove his blood clot was successful. Thank God ! But his blood pressure's not stable yet and he's still unconscious. ): I really hope he comes to soon and he has a speedy recovery. I'm glad that graces is safe..

What a difference a day makes.
Pretty right ? Titiwangsa. But the view from the top was disappointing to say the least.
I'm back from KL with my girlfriends ! We expected a romantic comedy but was thrown off by an action packed blockbuster that sobered into a drama typical of a daytime soap opera. The 4th of July. Too much to take in a day.
I pray that the surgeons do all they can so that Waising can come out in one piece and that everything turns out alright. Seriously, it's unimaginable. I pray for Graces' safety too. She's in good hands (Quen), thank God. I also hope that Desmond's father is alright and they figure out what's wrong with him..

Might be falling sick but I really am thankful that we were so safe during the four days and that we had the boys to drive us around. I think we got to see the different sides of each other in 411.
