Happy Easter Cards
For this next set of Easter cards I used the Easter 2010 Solutions cartridge.
The portrait style card I cut the bunny at 4 1/2" and the eggs are cut from several matstacks that I have. I also cut the egg for my sentiment at 1 1/4". The basket is from the Doodlecharms cartridge and that is cut at 1 1/2". I used the Divine Swirls embossing folder and then did some stitching with my white gel pen into the embossing. I used the Inkadinkadoo - Happy Everything stamp set for both of my cards. I also used the Martha Stewart fence punch. The background paper is from the DCWV So-So Sweet matstack.
For the landscape style card I cut the bunny at 3 3/4" with the shadow,I also did some inking around the bunny on this card. The eggs are cut at 0.3 inches on my Imagine using the patterns from the Yummy Cricut Imagine cartridge. For the sentiment I cut another egg from the Easter 2010 cartridge at 1 1/2". I put little "pom-poms" on both of the bunnies for the tails.

Snow Globe Christmas Card
For this Christmas card I used my Gypsy to create it. Using your Gypsy saves a lot of time trying to figure out what sizes you will need to make all of your cuts.
I made this a 5 1/2" by 5 1/2" sized card. I cut my snow globe from Doodlecharms at 5". The santa sleigh is cut at 3.91 width and 1.71 height. The house is cut at 2.63 width and 2.18 height, and the tree is cut at 1" width and 1.35 height. I used the stamp set Christmas Wishes from My Pink Stamper. I would have to say that this is my favorite Christmas card so far. Although, I did get the original idea from Sara at liveloveandScrap. Thanks Sara !!

Cricut Cardz Challenge # 40
This weeks challenge was to make a card using scalloped circles, scalloped squares, scalloped ovals, or scalloped rectangles. Use any cartridge, colors, or theme you would like.
I chose the scalloped circles. I used my Mini Monograms cartridge for the circles that I cut at 3 1/2" and 3 1/4". I used Doodlecharms for the ladybug which I cut at 2 1/4". I used the Create a Critter for the "LoveBug" which is cut at 1 3/4". I also used the Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder, and I added 3 buttons with thread for the final touch.
This is my first challenge card that I've done and it was a blast getting it all put together! I hope that you will give one of the challenges a try! Check out the challenge blog and the amazing people on the design team at Cricut Cardz Challenge, click here
