Thank you

Hey everyone!
Wow it's been a week!
We got a mini vacay to Cali in, I had my last day at work,
And I'm getting ready to start my new job tomorrow!

I wanted to thank our California friends for opening their home to us,
So I made this fun card....
Inspired of course by our fabulous days and evenings at the beach!
The image is from dilly beans and for the current Mermaid challenge,
The sketch from Tuesday morning sketches,
The use of the embroidery floss and tag for the challenge at  timeless twine,

The small stamp for Simon says Stamp and Show
The pins for Simon Says Stamp
Cute card Thursday good luck charm
And finally it's feminine for the July card challenge at Bo Bunny!
Whew! That was a lot!

Cute and sweet Birthday card

I've wanted to try some new techniques,
With multi folds.....
This is closed
And then tri folded open

It was fun to try a card with multiple folds..
I think the card turned out pretty cute!
Too bad we forgot to bring it to dinner with us!
I guess she'll just get it a day late!

Another Christmas Card

It's one of those very rare days...
Where it's overcast and less than 115 degrees in Phoenix in the summer!
What should a girl do on an overcast day like this??
Why make a Christmas Card of course!
I used a pretty digi from dilly beans shop
I colored this fun snowlady with my copic, I tore and distressed the plain white paper behind her,
I then embossed another plain piece of white paper, and then
distressed with my distress inks and threw some embossing powder on those dots! Used
some fabric cut outs and a strip of snowflake ribbon for the house and tree,
And finished off the card with a few strips of washi tape
(the card was too big, so i thought it would add a little to the card!
Here is miss snow's close up!
I am entering this pretty lady these challenges:
Chocolate, coffee, and cards: emboss
Desert Islands Challenge: Blue, Wet, Sparkle, no patterned paper, embossing (pick 3) ok I went overboard
Designed to Color: fabric
