Saturday is a special day.......

This is my really really happy face!!!!

Saturday morning at 7 a.m. I will be at the hospital preparing to labor. If all goes well we should have our little girl by lunch. Sooooooooo excited!!!!!

Still here......

Yep, nothing yet!!!!!!! I have my last appointment on Thursday where we will talk induction. Hopefully I will just have her before then. In the meantime, saturday was my birthday and I wanted to go take pictures at the temple. It was a beautiful day with not another person in sight. A perfect day to take pictures of little kids running around like crazy with gorgeous flowers everywhere. Here are some of the pictures we took. Ryan did most of the photographing, he is getting really good.

What a fun birthday it was. You might notice not very many pictures of Charlie. He is in a "don't take my picture" phase right now and gets really mad when we sneak them. He tolerated the group pictures, but wanted nothing to do with individuals.

Last summer my camera fell in the lake when we were at the Johnson's cabin. Since then I have been using this:

This is Ali's camera that she got for her birthday a couple of years ago. While it has been nice to have a camera to capture our fun family moments I was very ready for an upgrade. Ryan gave me permission to pick a fancy schmancy camera out when we got our tax return.

Ryan and I played around with it last night trying to figure out different settings and really just how to work the darn thing. Here is what we did.

I like how crisp the pictures are. These are all on auto. I am hoping to someday get good enough to venture out of auto mode.

All in all, I like my new camera. Now I just need a brand NEW subject to photograph.....come out little baby, I want to take your picture.

I HATE false alarms!!!!!!!

WARNING!!!!!!

Pregnancy talk ahead. Enter if you dare!!!!

I was having contractions all day on Sunday. They were irregular at first but by the evening I was having them every 5 minutes. After an hour of that we decided to go into the hospital. My wonderful sister-in-law, Sandra, raced like mad to come over to the house. We got there at 11:30 p.m. She checked me and I was dilated to a 2 1/2. We walked for a half hour and I was at a 3. We walked for an hour with contractions every 2 minutes and I was at a 3 1/2, maybe a 4 she said. The doctor said since I was so early and not progressing fast enough he wanted me to go home and come see him at 9 the next morning. So they sent us home at 3:30 in the morning. It was annoying!!!! Especially when I was still having contractions every 2 minutes.

When he checked me the next morning he said she was mistaken and I was only a true 3. He said he wanted me to try and keep the baby in for a few more days maybe a week if I could. He gave me a sleeping pill so I could go home and catch up on the night of sleep I missed. I needed the pills because I was still contracting and couldn't sleep through them.

So we got sent home for the second time within a six hour period. It was really starting to wear on me. Sandra stayed at the house and took care of the kids so both Ryan and I could sleep. I didn't wake up until 5:00 p.m. I felt much better. Still discouraged, but rested.

I am feeling better and the contractions are not so intense anymore. I am still having them every hour but they are bearable. I just want our little girl to be here soon!

So now what????? We wait and wait and wait. I hate waiting!!!!!!

Tomorrow I will be 37 weeks. Two of my children were born at 37 weeks and the other 2 were at 39 weeks. We are READY over here.

She is running out of room in there.

Suminize

Let me first explain the title of my post. When Charlie was 3 he would say "suminize" which of course translates to, "the sun is in my eyes". He just kinda made it one word though. We loved it and it has kinda stuck. We tried to get some cute pictures of the kids after church the other day. The sun was barely even out, but apparently it was too much for poor little Charlie.

I tol all the kids to close their eyes and when I count to 3 open them and I will take the picture. Livy did the exact opposite.

Then she didn't want to participate at all.

The kids are wearing their cute matching outfits that g & g Head bought them for Christmas. So cute!!!!

Easter Eggs done a little early this year

AHHHHHHH! Moster Easter Eggs!!!!!!

We decorated our Easter Eggs a little early this year in case we had our little one a little early. Ali & Charlie are becoming old pros at this sort of thing.

Livy was mad because daddy put her egg in the water and she wanted it back.

We might run out of diapers!!!

HELLO!!!!!!!

We have our stockpile for diapers for the rest of the year.

A few weeks ago at Walgreens they had a killer deal on Walgreens brand diapers where I could get them for $2.50 per package. They ran out pretty quickly in the store but my Walgreens rocks and I am in pretty good with the manager. He got me 3 separate rain checks for 3 different sizes and even put in a special order for me. I ordered 60 packages! I went back throughout the week and got diapers for my friend, Kate who will be having her baby boy on april 22, my neighbor Sarah, my friend Salena who is having TWIN boy & girl in June and even my sister Tracy who will be having a girl in August. It was so fun. By the end of the week I had been in the store about 8 times. They got to know me pretty well. Oscar & Livy helped me load the diapers in the van and then again into our garage.
