Fall is the best! We are finally getting back into a routine: school, soccer, dance and, most important on Kaitlyn's list, playdates. We all head out the door by 7:25 to walk Kaitlyn to school. I thought this would be the worst, but I love this crisp fall air and Colorado sunshine. Ellie has started pre-school and loves it. Grace is almost six months and has yet to have a decent nap. Sad-but true. Luckily, she just goes with the flow. She'll wake up in her carseat and look around like, "where am I now?"
Dustin is in Guatemala. He called from the top of a mountain in some remote village. He sounds like he's having a great adventure. We miss him. I miss him most in the middle of the night when my imagination starts to get the best of me and I try to plan how I will save our little girls if there's an intruder-not helpful thinking. On a happier note-we have a new little niece, born yesterday. We can't wait to meet her! Congrats, Hollie and Bryan.

How cute is Ellie? She makes me laugh. I loved hanging out with you last night - let's do it more often.

Annie! I found your blog! Did you know about mine too? www.newsinanutshell.blogspot.com
I completely understand when the husband goes. I used to barricade the doors and sleep with a bat. So glad to hear I'm not the only one to be so paranoid in the middle of the night.

I hope it's okay I snuck onto your blog! It's soo cute!!! I am soo with you about the kids back in school and loving fall. It was so fun running with you. Can't wait till this time next year when it doesn't hurt so bad. :) Hope your kiddos feel better. We missed you at Missy's shower:(.

Thanks for the nice compliments on my blog. You have darling girls Annie. My daughter is almost a year old and has yet to take a decent nap. Congrats to Hollie!

Oh, the reason I decided to cut my hair is because it was always in a ponytail. In fact I liked it better that way. So, that is why I cut it and I'm so glad I did. You would look great with your hair short or long. You can pull it off lady.

I, like Mary & Missy, found your Blog and took a little "look-see." It's so nice! Hope you don't mind. The pictures of the girls are all so cute.

Isn't it amazing how vulnerable we feel when the men are gone? And I used to think I was fearless and independent. Of course, that was way before the kiddos came along.

Wow, I guess I'm not the only one that just found your blog.... hee hee! It took me 6 months before I told anyone but my sister that I had a blog..... it is still as basic as they get but oh well!
Your kids are sooooo adoreable! I can't believe how much they look like you! Love your music too by the way, Haakon heard it while I was reading your blog and wants to get it. I am clueless on the music blogging stuff.
I am glad to be able to keep in better touch this way. Hope to see pics from Dusty's trip.
By the way, I sleep with a gun handy when Haak is out of town.... I really have gone Alaskan.

I love the music.... I can't believe you found it. The girls look so cute. I am glad I can see snap shots all the time now, keep posting them. My kids love to look at them. By the way
Emersyn gained 1.3 lbs( weighing in at 8.8 now) and and 1.5 inches... looks likes Gracie is going to have some competetion. I guess this time my baby is sipping straight cream. We love you and can wait to see you.

So Annie,
I am so glad you left a comment on my blog because I couldn't remember your blog address and I was just thinking I needed to ask Callie for it, when you commented. So thank you. Your kids are as cute as ever. It was so fun to get to know them a little better this summer. You guys are so cute!
