A few summery cards, even although the weather here has been pretty awful the last 2 days! We had an almighty thunderstorm last night that lasted a good few hours and flooded quite a few areas. Here's hoping for a little less rain tomorrow.
Anyway, after making my card for our Dream Valley Summer theme this fortnight, I was "in the zone", so I made these 2 summery cards too. The first is using LOTV Hello Cupcake, coloured with Promarkers and some paper piecing for her skirt and shoes.
And I would like to enter the following challenges:
Allsorts - Free and Easy July
Lili of the Valley - Pink and Blue
Bling it On - Anything Goes
*Fab 'n' Funky - baker's Dozen (Food)
Stampavie and More - Birthday
*Passion for Promarkers - Gingham
*Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
The second card is using an image I haven't used for AGES, Gorjuss Girl Flower Girl, coloured with Promarkers. I decided to challenge myself this time to use a 5 x 7 card blank instead of my favouirite square ones, but it took me ages of playing with the layout and embellishments until I was reasonably (but not completely) happy with it!!
And I would like to enter the following challenges:
Fussy and Fancy Friday - Summer
Your Next Stamp - Button Up
Crafts and Me - Summertime
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Fun in the Sun
Crafty Catz Weekly - Tags
