Frost ribbons

I have prepared some gifts for young neighbors
and other small friends so I also made some
cards to go with the goodies. The first one is
for Melanie, who lives opposite of us in the
building:

The second one is for her little sister Bella:

Neo is a 11 year old boy who likes to play
in the snow:

And Leah is his 8 year old sister:

Sorry the Frost ribbons are out of stock
but maybe you'll find your own favorites
at the cartoon section in the store HERE?

Vibrant colours and gingerbread men

Hi!

How do you feel about some glitter and
vibrant colours? I made a card with several
of the colourful ribbons from the White Christmas
range and I love the effect they make together!

I also found a great paper with gingerbread men
to match the ribbons from this new range

DT La Vikinga wishes you all a great weekend!!

Yes, this post is very picture heavy, lol, but I think you'll find that it's worth the trouble :)

Inspired by Ribbons with Leah

Hello everyone, I am here this week with some inspiration for you.  I have called this set of three cards 'inspired by ribbon' because this time, instead of picking the ribbon to match the card, I used the ribbon to inspire the cards!

A Trio from Leah

Hello everyone :)  I hope you are all ready for the summer weather!  I know I am, we had a rough winter up here.  I have created three cards all using the same technique with different colors, stamps and ribbons.
If you would like to see more information about how I made these cards, please visit my blog at odetopaper.blogspot.ca.

Card Number 1 uses Morlaix Cotton Lace from Crafty Ribbons:

Card Number 2 uses White Seam Binding from Crafty Ribbons:

And Card Number 3 uses Tango Grossgrain Ribbon from Crafty Ribbons!

I love the way there is always something from Crafty Ribbons to match what I am working on.  It's a really good thing, because sometimes I throw caution to the wind and just create, without regard to what I might have for embellishments in the right colors, hahahaha.  I know, what a rebel!  If you need to build up your ribbon stash, Crafty Ribbons is definitely the place to go.  You can buy all ribbons and laces by the yard, and they even have buttons and ribbon embroidery kits!

Swiss Dots Happy Birthday with Leah Tees

Hello everyone, are you ready for spring yet?  I know I am, and when I sat down to make this card, I wanted to see bright and cheery colors.  And that's what I did, with watercolor :)  And ribbon of course!  I used the Swiss Dots Grosgrain Ribbon to make the flower and stripe on this Happy Birthday card :)

Believe it or not, I chose the ribbon before I made the card, by reaching into my Crafty Ribbons container and without looking, pulling one out, hahahaha.  It worked!
