Hi all, todays card is another image from Kenny K, i just love these!! I coloured in with Promarkers, along with the ribbon, and then cut the image out. The backing paper is a free download from a website here but Im unable to remember which one. I cut the circle and scalloped circle with my Nesties and Cuttlebug. The greeting was done on my computer.
This is a close up of the image which I managed to take with my dad's camera.
Ive had a lovely day today with 2 crafty friends, Eileen and Sheila. I managed to make one card, which I'm unable to post on here for a couple of weeks, and also I've semi-prepared another card which again I cant post for nearly 2 weeks!!! Birthdays, goodness me!!! lol
Anyway we had a good chat as usual, with a few hot drinks added in. It was interesting to watch the card Eileen was making. It kept changing and I came away before completion so will wait and see what she will be doing at our Faversham Crop tomorrow!!
Happy crafting, come back soon please

Tinkerbell
Well today has been busy, and still is, so just a quick post Im afraid. Had a lovely morning at Bluewater doing a bit of retail therapy so not had chance to craft today. Oh well, there's always tomorrow!!My card today is a Tinkerbell one for my friend's daughter. I made the backing paper in Paint Shop Pro 8 and printed off a pic to use as a topper. I glittered the wings on the topper and mat and layered it. I mat and layered the backing paper on a gatefold card, used stickles around the edges and then stuck the topper and the greeting on.
Back tomorrow I hope with a longer post and another card.
Bye for now

Im here again!
Hi All, sorry its been a few days. I was working Monday and Tuesday and during the weekend I couldnt get decent pics of my cards. I've borrowed my dad's camera this morning and taken some and they've come out just the way I want them to so now I've just got to start saving for a new camera!! I will post a card each day as although I've got a few to make they cannot be seen yet (until after certain events!!).
This first card is similar to another I made recently. The butterflies are digi stamps from Whimsy Stamps. I coloured them with Promarkers (trying to get used to shading and its coming gradually). I added a ribbon which I also coloured to match the roses.
This next picture is a lovely close up to show you that I then highlighted with stickles around and on the wings of the butterfly. I finished by cutting out and mounting with silicone glue. The greeting is from the computer.

Baby Boy
This is one of the images from Crafts U Print. I printed the sheet out and layered the pyramage image. I then mat and layered the backing paper and the image on blue and silver card. I added ribbon which as usual I coloured with Promarkers, silver card candy and a greeting. Finished off with a couple of gems on the greeting. This is a lovely image and can be used for a boy or girl.
Ive been trying to get some more cards done to post on here. Its all going well although I have one that needs to be kept secret for a few more days so I will post others first!!
Please come back soon, happy crafting

Crop competition
Last Saturday was our monthly crop at Allhallows. Every month we have a competition and whoever wins gets free entry to the next crop they attend. This month the subject was to make a Valentine card but NOT to have the colour red on it. There were lots of lovely cards and this is my entry. Unfortunately it wasn't the winning one but I will try again next month.
The image is from Kenny K and I coloured it with Promarkers and then mounted onto a nesties frame. The heart backing papers were from my stash. I think they were originally from a QVC pack. I layered these all onto pink card and then used stickles around the edge. I finished off with card candy and a greeting printed from the computer which i also mounted onto a smaller nestie frame.
Im trying to blog on a daily basis (apart from 2 days when I work and just dont get time) so please pop back tomorrow for another card.
I have a poorly son today so will be indoors all day. Hopefully he will sleep for a while and I've got a few cards to make so will try to get them done.

This first card today was for my friend's birthday last week. She is a big fan of Frank Lampard and Gerard Butler so I wanted to combine the two. I found these pics and then used Paintshop Pro to make the backing paper. I mat and layered onto a peach card, glittered with stickles around the edges and finished off with a computer generated greeting and card candy.
This next card is for a 14th Birthday. Butterflies was all I had as a theme so as its for a girl pink was my first choice!! This digi stamp is from Whimsy Stamps. I coloured it with Promarkers and then added some stickles along the lines of the wings. I cut both butterflies out and mounted with silicone glue onto paper from my stash. This paper was from Making Cards magazine. I used stickles to glitter around the edges and finished off with ribbon, which I'd coloured with Promarkers, and a computer generated greeting.
I hope you like these and look forward to any comments. I will be back to post another card tomorrow.

One for the men!
This is another card I made at our crop yesterday. I wanted to colour it in lovely bright colours and ended up making a pink and blue card. Not sure who I will send it to yet but I'm sure there are a few men out there who would appreciate receiving this!!! The image is from Kenny K and its coloured with Promarkers. I also coloured the ribbon and put a little stickles around the outer layer. The papers were originally from a craft magazine but I cant remember which one, sorry. The greeting at the bottom is a rub on.
Im off to do a little more colouring now and will be back again tomorrow.

Crop time!
Well today has been a day of sitting crafting with the only interruptions being for a cuppa or the loo!!!! There were quite a few ladies today all having fun and a good old chat as its the first time we've met since Christmas. Our last crop was cut short because of the awful white stuff falling but today we had no problems.
The first card I made is a New Home one. I haven't made one of these for ages and the image is from Mo's Digital Pencil. I coloured it in with Promarkers and mat and layered using papers from my stash. I think the papers originally came from Making Cards magazine. I finished with stickles glitter around the edges and some flowers and brads. The greeting was printed on the computer.
I will post another card tomoro as I want to get into a regular habit of blogging. Please come back and take a look and if you wish to leave any comments.

I soooo love my......
Postman! He is just the best. He realised I wasn't home yesterday so left a little parcel for me with my neighbour. As soon as I'd dropped my son at school this morning I called to collect it and this is what I got ........
23 Promarkers and 3 tubes of Pinflair Glue. I ordered these Sunday evening from Cards of Distinction and they were delivered Tuesday. I always buy from the same place now as the Promarkers are the cheapest I have found, p&p is free over £12 and the service is wonderful and quick. So guess what I've been doing for a little while today?????
This next card is one I made at the weekend. It looks quite simple but took me ages as I kept losing pieces of card!! The backing card is embossed with Swiss Dots on my Cuttlebug. The flower is layered with silicone glue and I used an embossing tool to help curl the petals before gluing. I added a ribbon which I coloured with Promarkers and the sentiment on the base of the card is a rub-on.
Got some more cards that I'm working on at the mo and one that I will be able to show after Friday! It's my lovely friend Colleen's birthday and I'm hoping she will love the card I have made her!! Will post pics asap so please come back and visit me again.
Your comments are most welcome.

My day out was brill.....
...apart from the weather!!
Well yesterday dear people I went to London with a lovely friend of mine from work, Colleen. We had tickets to see the auditions of Britains Got Talent at Hammersmith Apollo. After waiting in the rain for an hour we were finally let in to dry off (we had priority tickets so were one of the first few people to get in and be seated). We sat to the left of the judges, who were Louis Walsh, standing in for David Hasselhoff, Amanda Holden and Michael McIntyre. The hosts of course were the gorgeous Ant and Dec. Because of where we were sitting we had a wonderful view of them in the wings the whole time too as they dont come back on stage due to interviewing auditionees before and after they come on the stage!!! Well I must say there were some good people (and also some bad!) who auditioned and you must look out for 12yr old Rowan who sang. He was brill and had us all on our feet. He will go far! At the end I was lucky enough to shake hands and speak to Amanda and Louis. They were lovely. Hoping to try and get tickets for the show again when it gets to the live shows, fingers crossed!
The wonderful Ant & Dec before it all got started!

Amanda Holden just before we spoke!

My New Year's Resolution.....
is to blog more often than I have been. I spend so much time perusing through all the wonderful blogs on here and seeing all the lovely cards and items you all come up with that it cuts my crafting time down!! Less time on here looking and more time doing I think from now on. Anyway start as I mean to go on so for 1/1/11 this is my 1st blog entry. No pic Im afraid at the mo as only just getting all my crafty bits out again after Christmas (and I am actually still going to be busy working up until Tuesday!). There are some projects in the pipeline tho so will be getting those done in the spare minutes I have!
Wishing you all a very happy and healthy New Year and here's to many lovely cards we will all be making and posting on here.
