I'M SO HAPPY........

....to have friends like you. I know I send gifts off now and then but never in the expectation of getting things back. But I have to say BIG thank you's to some people who have been super lovely to me over the last month or two. All that visit and comment I think of as friends and I have made many many friends over the last couple of years. I am so grateful for this alone, but it's so nice some times to have this reciprocated, just because! lol

These beautiful hand made gifts were a thank you for winning my blog candy. (I bought the frame,) this was the card Jo made for me, and the lovely Smiffy sock doll who I fell in love with and had to buy another (they are so lovely) Jo and her sister Annie are better known as Twiglet & Wipso of the sisters crafty creations Shop. A BIG thank you to them both, do visit their individual blogs and shop, they are talented ladies. I adore my gifts Jo, thank you.

These as well as other gifts not shown were from a dear friend in Germany her name is Valerie. I am sure you have been to her blog before, if not then give her a visit at Bastlemania she has super talent and I am always inspired by her. I loved all my goodies Val thank you.

And finally, but by no means least, is this wonderful tag that arrived Saturday from the lovely Cindy from Whimsical Musings. She is such a lovely person, that every one I chat to adores her. (hope people like me half this much ha ha). And also very talented, you should check out her blog and esty shop. I love this tag thank you Cindy.

So thank you to all my friends for your continued visits and taking part in my blog by Stopping by, commenting, joining in the poll and supporting my new Journal Journey's blog your all really wonderful and thank you for making my bloggy life full. It wouldn't be any fun with out you!

I also thought I would share a few photos of my front garden in Spring, we have still things we want to do (like add some rose bushes). But it's coming along nicely. I planted my cherry tree the first year we moved in and so that's had 10yrs growing and I, or rather hubby has trimmed it back a few times and the cherries keep coming very very yummy! Can you handle another photo of crafty goodness by me?

This is a special little tag I have made to go in with a swap of TC&S china Easter Basket I have already posted off. I can't really say any more than that except,  when she receives it I will post photos of the whole gift and what I get in return. ;0) I really love swaps, I am always involved with at least two a month, but more often, many more lol. I love getting peoples had made goodies, and It's always special to me that people like what I have made. I try hard to work in myself to all my projects. If your at the the end & still reading thank you for taking the time, I hope you take a look at some blogs I have shared with you today and I hope you have enjoyed this lovely art as I have. Love Dawn xx

Faith Hope & Cherrytree Swap

Hello, and good afternoon to you all. I have joined an amazing swap that Sharon from Faith Hope & Cherrytea has organised. I have been so excited about posting my gift out and receiving my package in return. Well today it arrived and I am so very thrilled with the contents. My partner's name is Lorene she has a beautiful blog of interior design (I believe this is what she does for a living). Well her beautiful package has arrived to my home today, YAY!

A lovely TC&S I think you can agree is lovely. This is one of her mothers who is now passed and as her mother loved England (London) She thinks her mum will be delighted that some of her TC&S ends back here in England. I love the lavender cushion (very British) and I love them. I asked for a hand made card and she has made one for me (a personal touch) as well as some lovely things to help make any cup cakes I make, look wonderful. The beautiful pin (attached to the cushion) and a lovely heart to hand in my bedroom (it's already on my wardrobe Lorane) The lovely stickers which I know will come in handy, being a crafter I'll find a use for them. Not forgetting the wonderful table runner (I think that is what it is) I didn't get the beautiful edging of it in these photos but be assured it's very pretty.

Here is a close up. I would be grateful if any of you can let me know any thing about this lovely TC&S you can click on the photo to make it larger but it says JP and it's marked France. the flowers are small and delicate and I really do like the pattern. Now the only thing worrying me is 1. I didn't take any photos of the package I sent and 2. I sent my package to her on the 29th of Jan and she still hasn't got it yet (it's going to Athens) and Lorene sent hers after me and it arrived today and poor Lorene is still waiting. So I am hoping she can e-mail me later and tell me it's arrived. Have a wonderful week end. Speak soon. Love Dawn xx

SCD Theme Month 'Wings'

I am posting on Saturday instead of Friday as I have been having difficulty with my computer so I am sorry I have  not visited, although I have caught up on visits for SCD.  And this weeks theme is Wings so create anything you like, as long as there are wings on the project that's fine. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with this week. Some of you have already finished It's great to stop by your blogs and see all your creativity.

Here is a close up of this weeks project. I do hope you like it. Every time I see little babies I just think of angels from Heaven. All babies are beautiful little miracles from God. Well,  I was thinking of gifts to make for Christmas actually and then while messing around with wings this is what I came up with. After finishing though I thought how lovey a gift it would be to send out  for a New Baby, baby broaches/necklaces for first time mothers or how about a small photo of the whole family. I just love the possibilities with this and of course if you are more apt at jewellery making you can add all sorts of extras. Let me know if you have a play with this idea. Love Dawn xx

Items Used:- Wings, Maya Road. Image, Crafty Individuals. Ribbon, Stampin Up! Fragments & Distress inks Tim Holtz. DP scraps.

Still struggling for my MOJO

Hello all I haven't anything to show you I am still not crafting as much as I would like to be. But I did receive this wonderful gift today from France ( I am so glad I put some goodies in with the ATCs I sent to her lol) Look what she has sent me (swoons) I love other peoples art!

I had to show you a couple of close ups! so much prettier in real life! I love the bottle caps and they are as beautiful on the back as they are on the front, this pendant included. The (bubble) round piece of art is wonderful the rose is made of wax and painted it's all so very yummy. Pop over to see my friend Esther on Her Blog I am always amazed ans surprised at what she comes up with.

Both the above items were bought for 50p each The clock doesn't work I was going to use all the insides for some steam punk stuff I want to make but it just looks so fab on the shelf I think I will keep it. These are not coasters (there a wee bit bigger) more for a pan & made out of cork I thought these could be altered like the flowers I have made for the art exchange (must get them posted off! I still have one to finish off) Well I must start creating and stop foraging for goodies, if I could just keep my mojo running for more than an hour or so I know I could finish a few things.... Thank you for stopping by have a wonderful day. Love Dawn xx
