Happy ho ho holidays

Hey hey! Oh my goodness, it's the last day of November. Can you believe it? Holidays are just around the corner. I can't wait to start putting up my Christmas decorations - I usually do it at the beginning of December. When do you start decorating? Have you made all your Christmas cards yet? I'm pretty close. Just need a few more. And I've done most of my Christmas shopping already as well. Once for a change I seem to be on top of things. lol

Here's one of the CAS Christmas cards I made.

I really like the Ho ho holidays stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I used different stamps from the set to create this scene.

I did the colouring with Promarkers and pencils. I didn't use any desing papers and I only used some sequins to embellish the card.

So much from me today. See you again tomorrow. xx

Do you wanna build a snowman?

Hey hey! Yesterday I received the first Christmas card this year. I guess this means holidays are just around the corner, right? I have already written some of my Christmas cards, but haven't mailed any. I am planning to go to the post office later this week to mail those overseas so that they will get to my friends in time. Those within Europe will probably be sent out in the first week of December.

This is one of the Christmas cards I made this year. I've decided to use some of the images I printed/stamped a while back with full intention to colour them and use them on my cards/projects, but for some reason never have.

I love Tiddly inks images and this one is one of my favourites (at least when it comes to Christmas/winter ones). Isn't it cute? I coloured it Promarkers and pencils and I used some liquid applique on the white parts of girl's clothes.

Before I go I want to remind you that my mom has some yummy candy on her blog and you only have a couple of days left if you want to join. :)

Have a wonderful day! xx

TGF November release

It’s the 15th, and that means RELEASE DAY for all 3 of the new NOVEMBER TGF Stamp Sets with Coordinating Dies: Mini-Remix Boys, Bakery, and Mini-Remix Fall. We have been previewing these fantastic stamps over the past few days, and NOW they are available in The Greeting Farm Store. To celebrate, TGF is having a BLOG HOP, where one lucky fan will take home all 3 stamp sets!!

I used the Mini remix boys stamp set again. It was perfect for a birthday card I had to make for my cousin.

My cousin had a birthday earlier this month and as he was saving money for a new camera I decided to make a camera shaped card to match the (camera related) gift I got for him. I didn't have any camera templats or dies, so I created my own. I was actually pretty happy with how it turned out. In the center of the card I created a shaker. Fun, right?

I did the colouring with Promarkers and pencils.
Be sure to leave a comment on each designer’s blog, and then head back to The Greeting Farm Blog to let us know you completed the hop. You have until Sunday, November 20th at 12pm CST to leave your comments. TGF will announce the random winner later in the week!

TGF November release preview - Mini remix Fall

Hello everybody! We are showing you the last of the new TGF stamp and dies sets. I like all the new sets, but this one has this adorable little kitty image in it too, which I couldn't wait to ink. :)

I used one of the sentiments and the leaves that come with the set on my card as well. I created the background using the Memory box stencil and distress inks. To decorate the card I used some sequins and a piece of ribbon.

So much from me today. Have a great day! Xx

TGF November release preview - Mini remix boys

Hello my crafty friends. Today is the first preview day of The Greeting Farm November release. Today we are showcasing a Mini remix boys stamp set.

I find boys hard pretty hard to make, but this stamp set made my "job" easy. It contains several cute boy images (plus one super cute dog) and some awesome sentiments that are perfect to add to the boys' cards.

As this is a boy's card I didn't want to use (lots of) embellishments. At the end I ended up using only a piece of washi tape. :) Now, how cute is this little boy? I don't know why, but I could totally see him playing soccer. And that soccer ball image that comes with the set as well was perfect match for this little guy in my opinion. I didn't use any design paper either. Just some cardstock and the shaped piece of paper is from one of my old notepads. Who thought it would come handy after all this time. ;) Sentiment is from the stamp set as well.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils.

So much from me today. be sure to stop by again tomorrow for another day of previews. Tomorrow we are showcasing something *sweet*. ;)

Have a great day! xx

Amongst the stars

Hi everybody! I'm back with my newest card that I made for the TGF blog. Again I played with the adorable Bless angel, that was released in October. Unfortunately I can't find this cutie in the store, but there are many other SSSC stamps available here.

For this card I used different papers from my stash and I used distress tool on the edges. The gold paper is iridescent, so it gives the card more festive look. To embelish the card I used pearls, crystals and doily.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils. Unfortunately it's impossible to see in the picture, but I used Wink of Stella brush on angel's dress, wings and halo so it's really sparkly in person.

Have a beautiful day! xx

Christmas card in fall colours

Good morning my crafty friends! How are you doing? Did you have a nice Halloween? We didn't do anything special, we barely even decorated the apartment. My hubby wanted to carve a pumpkin, but the pumpkin he bought was reeeeeeeally hard so it was nearly impossible to carve anything into it. Next year we'll be better prepared. ;) We did visit some friends in the afternoon though and we had a lovely time.

Since it's the first of the month, this means it's time for a new challenge at the TGF blog. This month we would like to see autumn colours on your creations - along with any TGF stamp of course. I decided to make a Christmas card in fall colours (red, gold, brown and green).

I used the fun little elves from the Ho ho holidays stamp set and coloured them with Promarkers and pencils. On the white parts of the hats I used Liquid applique for the puffy look. I decorated the card with some crystals, doily and ribbon.

I hope you will come play with us this month. Have a wonderful day! xx
