Hi! I am a 39 year old stay at home mom (most of the time). I am a hairstylist that scaled back greatly when I had three babies within a year. The twins are now 5 and the youngest is 4 and I also have a 16 year old. All girls! I love working with vinyl, Jaded Blossom, Stampin' Up!, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, my Cameo and my Copics among other creative things! I enjoy cake decorating, stamping, scrapping, card making and most things crafty! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy!

Thankful layout

I made this layout for my PaperHoarders Design Team. Our challenge was to make something depicting what we are thankful for. Well I am thankful for my girls. That was easy enough but I will be reworking some of this layout. My original idea was to cut letters on the Cricut using the Storybook cartridge but it didn't get delivered in time. Instead I cut out these pesky small letters and what a pain that was! Anyway-I'll redo them and add some flowers or rosettes. I did weld letters from Gypsy Font for the word thankful-and I'm thankful that turned out how I wanted it LOL! Check back for the remodeled version!

Trick or Treat Layout

I made this Trick or Treat layout for my PaperHoarders Design Team. It features my oldest daughter as Cruella DeVil. My mom made her costume and she was the best Cruella ever! Trick or Treat and the pumpkin were cut on my Cricut using the Celebrate With Flourish cart. Title at 3 inches. Pumpkin at 2 inches. I'm very pleased with this. So much so I may have to find a frame and hang it with our decorations!

Sweetest Day

This was made for the Paper Hoarders Design Team. Our theme was Sweetest Day. A holiday similar to Valentine's Day but celebrated on the third Saturday in October.  I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried to sew on this. It was my first time and you can barely see it. Crooked and not perfect but I am awful proud. Also the first flower rosette I've made. They are quite easy so I'll be making more!

Fall layout

This is my Fall layout for my PaperHoarders design team. Our challenge is to use Fall colors. I used paper from an older DCWV Autumn stack. I cut the lettering on my Cricut with Plantin Schoolbook and sponged it in gold and embossed it. I sponged the edges of the paper in gold lightly. I think I will put pictures of my girls at the pumpkin patch on this layout.

1st Day of School

I made this layout for the PaperHoarders Design Team I am on. It is my twins' first day of PreK. I will add a picture of each of them in the circles of the word School and also in the 3 mats below. The alphabet tree paper has not been secured at the top so I can tuck other notes in. I used DCWV Grade School stack and Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge. I journaled on regular notebook paper about how much they enjoyed their first day. They were so tired out they fell asleep on the bus ride home!
