Have A Frapp-A-Licious Day!

Hello, and happy Memorial Day weekend to you! Today's card was created for the latest Fusion Card Challenge and the 2018 Spring & Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop. I loved both the colors and the layout on the Fusion Card Challenge so tried to incorporate a bit of both in my card. To create my card I started by layering some pretty patterned papers from the Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go 6x6 paper pad onto my card base following the sketch. Using more of the same patterned papers I stamped the travel mug from the My Style Stamps Coffee Lovers stamp set and fussy cut the images out, lined the edges with my Memento tuxedo black dual tip maker and popped it up off of the card using some fun foam from Hobby Lobby. I added some black dashed lines around the inner focal panel of the card and then added some gorgeous sequins from The Ton as a finishing touch! I hope you like my fun and whimsical card and thank you for visiting my blog. Have a safe and happy weekend!

Coffee, Create, Sleep, Repeat

Today's card was created for the latest The Paper Players challenge. I started my card off by layering some pretty patterned paper from the American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan 6x6 paper pad onto a white card base. I then die cut the scalloped edge focal panel using a Gina Marie Designs die and some white card stock from Staples. I then layered the panel onto some cherry cobbler cardstock from Stampin' UP and stamped the coffee image and sentiment from My Style Stamps Coffee Lovers stamp set using Memento tuxedo black ink. I stamped the coffee cup one more time onto some more of the same Dear Lizzy patterned paper and fussy cut the image leaving out the whipped topping. I edged the image with a dual tip Memento marker for a clean look and adhered it directly onto the stamped image below. I shaded everything on the cup using Copic markers for some additional depth and dimension. For a finishing touch I added some matching sequins from The Ton and some glossy accents to the top of the cup. I will be swapping this card out with my September swap partner for the Coffee Lover's card swap. I hope you like it!

I Like You 'N Coffee

Today's card was created for the latest Can You Case It challenge. I love this awesome layout and thought it might make a fun coffee themed Valentine's Day card that I could send to a crafty friend. I started with a white card base and layered on some kraft cardstock from Hobby Lobby and then layered on a piece of pretty chevron patterned paper from the American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neopolitan 6x6 paper pad. I then cut my circles using more of the kraft cardstock and some white cardstock from Staples using my My Favorite Things pierced circle and Spellbinder nesting circle dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Reverse Confetti I Like You stamp set onto some white cardstock using Versafine onyx black ink and then layered on some kraft cardstock behind it for contrast. I stamped the coffee mug from My Style Stamps Coffee Lovers stamp set onto some patterned paper from the same paper pad using Memento tuxedo black ink. I fussy cut the images out and mounted them up using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I die cut a heart and it's coordinating scalloped trim using some more dies from Spellbinders, adhered them together, and mounted them onto the card. I added some sweetheart sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and then added some XMas red Stickles to the inside of the sequins and to the heart on the coffee mug sleeve. Some black dashed lines around the circle, the outer edge, the sentiment strip, and the coffee liner wrap this card up. I hope you like it!
