Merry Christmas-Send A Smile 4 Kids

Hello! Welcome to the November Send A Smile 4 Kids card challenge. This month we are creating happy holiday cards for kids. To create my card I started by stamping this adorable little gingerbread man from Purple Onion onto some white Copic-friendly cardstock, colored him using my alcohol markers, and fussy cut him out. I edged him with my Momento tuxedo black marker and popped him up using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I then cut a square out of more white cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Avery Elle Joy To The World stamp set using Versafine onyx black ink. I die cut the square scalloped edge frame from cherry cobbler cardstock from Stampin' UP using a die from Spellbinders. To create the card I started by layering some cherry cobbler cardstock directly onto my white A2 cardbase and then started layering pretty Christmas patterned papers from Echo Park. The collection is so old I've honestly lost track of the name of it and when it was made. LOL. Yes, I'm a paper hoarder! Once I finished layering all of the panels onto the card I popped the focal panel up off of the card using 3M foam tape. To finish the card off I added some black gems from Ki to the corners and a little glitter pen to the details on the gingerbread man. So cute and so very fun!

Friends Furrever

Today's card was created for the latest Less Is More card challenge. To create my card I started by layering a piece of muted light blue patterned paper from the Studio Calico's Atlantic 6x6 paper pad onto my white card base. I then die cut a scrap piece of paper from the Pink Paislee Hey Kid 6x6 paper pad using the Tag Stitched Wise die and a stitched border die both from Paper Smooches. I die cut the tag again using the same die and some white cardstock from Staples and layered the patterned paper to the bottom. I stamped the sentiment from the Paper Smooches Feline Friends stamp set on the bottom using Versafine onyx black ink. My bits and pieces were the ribbon and the focal images for my tag. The striped ribbon is what's left over of a roll of American Crafts Halloween ribbon I had, the white gauze ribbon is a scrap I'd gotten in a freebie bag on a blog hop win, and the adorable little dog and his water dish were stamped and colored at a friends house while I was playing with her Avery Elle Furry Friends stamp set. I stamped the images and took them home with me months ago but never colored them. I decided to use them for this fun card. I colored them using my alcohol markers and fussy cut them by hand I adhered them to my tag using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals and popped the whole tag up off of my card using some fun foam from Hobby Lobby. I plan on sending this sweet little card to a dog loving dear friend of mine. Thank you for visiting my blog today. If you enjoyed my card be sure to leave a kind word.

Wedding Congratulations

My card was created for the latest If You Give A Crafter A Cookie card challenge. I love this gorgeous photo and thought I would use it literally and create a wedding themed card. To create my card I started by layering a piece of soft pink cardstock from Hobby Lobby onto my white card base. I then embossed a piece of white cardstock using a gorgeous embossing folder from Lifestyle Crafts and layered it on top. I then die cut another piece of the pink cardstock using a Spellbinders circle die and another piece of white cardstock using a pierced edge MFT circle die and layered them together. I then stamped the wedding cake image from the Inkadinkado Wedding stamp set directly onto the white circle panel and again onto some Copic-friendly cardstock. I colored the flowers and icing on the cake in light pink tones using my alcohol markers, fussy cut the image, and popped it up off of the focal panel using Stampin' UP foam dimensionals. I then mounted both circle panels onto a white doily from Sunny Side Up Bakery and off set adhered it to embossed focal panel. I trimmed off the excess and mounted the entire panel onto my white card base. I trimmed down a small strip of the light pink cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Avery Elle Petals & Stems stamp set in Versafine onyx black ink and adhered it below the focal panel. To finish my card off I added some pretty sparkle with light pink Stickles and a few clear rhinestones from Recollections. Thank you for visiting my blog and if you like my card be sure to leave a comment. I appreciate every single one of them!

Merci

Today's card was created for the current Less Is More challenge. This week's challenge is to create a one layer card using something French. I started by stamping the flowers and leaves from the Avery Elle Petals & Stems stamp set onto some 110 lb Copic-friendly cardstock. I used Memento inks and then I added some shadows and depth using my Copic markers. I then added the sentiment below using the Sophisticated Script stamp set from Concord & 9th. I adore this beautiful alpha set and love to break it out when I can. I finished the card off by rounding the corners using my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper and added some black dashed lines around the outside edge.

Thinking Of You

I love both of these challenges from Just Us Girls and The Paper Players because I could incorporate my love of all things autumn into them both! I started with some Chocolate Chip cardstock from Stampin' UP and layered some plain white cardstock over it. I stamped the plain tree image from the Avocado Arts Perfectly Perfect Day in some Gina K charcoal brown ink so it would be nice and dark. I took one of the multi leaf stamps and using Memento Dew Drop inks in Dandelion, Tangelo, and Lady Bug I stamped the leaves multiple times to create a beautiful fall foliage tree. I inked a few of the leaves individually to create a slight blowing cascade of them caught in the wind. I repeated the same process onto a smaller piece of cardstock, cut it down, framed it out with the same brown cardstock, and popped it up off of the card using some Scrapbook Adhesive foam squares. I stamped the sentiment from the Avery Elle Petals & Blooms stamp set. It's a simple but pretty card and I love the way it turned out. I hope you do too!

Thank you

Today's card was created for the CTS #141 card sketch. I started with a white card base and layered some pretty orange and cream striped Fancy Pants paper from the 12x12 Me-Ology collection. I them stamped the My Favorite Things Linen background stamp onto some plain white cardstock using some Stampin' UP sahara sand ink. I stamped the two smaller size floral stamps from the Avery Elle Petals & Stems stamp set using some Memento Inks and Gina K inks in various shades of blue, yellow, orange, and green. I then stamped the sentiment from the Avery Elle Oh Happy Day stamp set in Versafine onyx black ink in the center of the card and glued the leaves down around it in a semi-circle to create a wreath. I mounted the flowers up off of the card with some foam dimensionals from Stampin' UP and them stamped a trio of small dots in blue ink around them for some additional interest. Love how it turned out and I hope you like it too!
