New image inspiration take 2!

I say 'Take 2' because the DT inspiration posts are spread over two days.
Team B posts on the 20th and Team A posts on 21st.

In case you haven't seen the new March images, here they are...

All different and all as cute as a button!
Available now in the All Dressed Up Etsy store.

Here's a couple of items I made with some of the images...

A Time To Share
I cut this centre step card on my Silhouette. I also used the Silhouette to place a white border around the image 'A Time To Share'.
(Saves me 'fussy cutting' and mucking it up)!
I coloured that adorable image with Copics and a Spica pen in the hard to reach areas.
I decoupaged the umbrella in three layers. Don't think this photo picks it up very well.
The image was paper pieced with one of Wendy's lovely digital papers and the floral papers on the card are Wendy's too.
You can see them in the Etsy Shop HERE.
FIVE GORGEOUS PAPERS FOR 75P!!!!BARGAIN!

 We Make A Good Team
LOVE this image!
you can find it HERE.
I decided to give the 'team' a mish-mash of strip. All odd, all coordinating in a daft kind of way.
I wanted it to look a little like the back street kids having a kick-about with no proper strip but not caring.
I found the football (soccer) paper on Etsy here.
I coloured the image with Copics and sponged the 'sky' with Brilliance 'Sky blue' ink.
(I think my 'grass' needs a little practice, but I'm not unhappy with it).

Hope you like my cards today.
Please stop by the ADU Blog and see the amazing projects my teamies have created!
Whilst you're there, why not look at our challenge and hopefully, join in.
It would be lovely to have you play along!

Well, I'd better stir myself I suppose.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to your next visit.
Have a wonderful weekend!!!

New home

Hi friends!
I hope all is well in your world.
It's very quiet here which suits me fine.
Don't need any dramas LOL!

I neighbour who I've known for 12 years is moving home today.
For 11 of those years, we were kind of at odds over parking.
Finally resolved our differences and I ended up with a lovely new friend!
What a waste of 11 years!!

At least I'll see her again, as she does my hair.
I wish her and her partner, love and luck in their new home!

Here's the card I made for them.

The house is a Penny Black stamp, 'Victorian Homes', coloured with Copics.
Blue Bazzil and SU  green card, (can't remember the name of the colour),
Clouds via MFT dies and a sentiment printed off my PC.
Grass edge was courtesy of a MS grass punch.
(I used the Print and Cut feature on my Cameo for the 'fussy cutting').

Well, there we have it.
Have a smashing weekend everyone.

I apologise

Well, the little puppy does!
I wonder what he did! Did he leave a puddle on the floor, or did he chew something he shouldn't!
Who knows. LOL
I reckon this little guy is apologizing maybe for missing someone's birthday.
What do you think?

This little fella is a stamp from Peachy Keen.
PK-1334 'Howling Puppy'.
I tried my hand at making a 'hairy' doggy.
Ha Ha! Maybe that's what the apology is for!! LOL
Nah, I don't reckon it's too bad for a first attempt.
I coloured him with Copics and did a Print and Cut on the Cameo...AGAIN!
I think I'm addicted to P and C!!!
It's WAY easier than fussy cutting by hand!
Didn't really need to with guy, as I mounted him on white card.
Could've just stamped him straight onto the square ,
but at the time, I didn't know how I was going to play it.

So, I love this little guy from Peachy Keen and now I can 'fur' him up, I love him even more!

Time for trying another couple of challenges

'Anything Goes'.

'Anything Goes'

'Use a sentiment'
'Domestic Animals'

Thanks for visiting. I love it when you call round!

More Print & Cut Kitties.

Hi Friends!
I had so much enjoyment from colouring that cat yesterday, I decided to make a little family.
As there is a major shortage of cat fur colouring tutes out there, I decided to just try and go from memory again.

I wanted a Mum, Dad and child kitty picture.
(Totally forgot I'd have to take the bow off the 'dad') DOH!!!!

Ah well. It's now Mum, child and Aunty! (or big sister). LOL
The MEGA cute image is from All Dressed Up. Called 'Purrfect Together' . You can purchase it HERE.
(There is also a sentiment included)
I've given them varying degrees of fur pattern.
The idea was, Baby would take characteristics from both parents, so as 'Mum' has no stripes and 'Dad has bolder stripes, 'Baby' has more muted ones.
It's a bit deep  all that, isn't it. I'll shut up now.
I'm entering this into these challenges.....
Pink/White
'Pink Plus One'

'Anything Goes'

Catch you all again soon!
Have a great week!

New designs from Wendy, new inspiration

Hi friends. All is well in your world I hope.
Today I have two cards for you using the new collection at All Dressed Up.
Our inspirational posts are to give you an idea of what you can do with Wendy's fabulous digis.
Please pop on over there and see what my fabulous team mates have created with these beautiful images.

For my two cards, I've used

Here's 'Purrfect Together..
I'm not brilliant at colouring cats.
I gave it my best shot though with my trusty Copics.
(If anyone knows of a Youtube tute on colouring cats, let me know)!
I've added the 'I Love My Puppy' image to this card.
The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted's 'Time To Relax'.
I would have used the lovely sentiment that comes with the digi,
but I cut it out without making room for it! DOH!
The frame is a Marianne Designs one (I think).
I'm awful, I rip my new toys out of the packaging but forget to name them, so never know what the heck I'm using! Anyway, I digress.

On to card number 2..

Now I got a bit clever with one.
I cut it out using the Print and Cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo.
THANK YOU STACEY!! (Big grin 'coz I did it) and coloured the image with Copics.
The papers are from Echo Park. Dots and Stripes.
The star was cut with  Spellbinders dies.
(At least I remembered who's THEY are)! LOL

I followed our latest challenge, which is a sketch........

All details are on the All Dressed Up Challenge page on the blog.

We'd love if it you played along with us.

Well, that's it from me.
Have a fabulous weekend and if the weather is horrendous where you are,
stay warm and stay safe!

A new Challenge at All Dressed Up!

Here I am, back again.
This time with news of our new challenge at All Dressed Up.

We had a lovely turn out for the  last challenge and it was VERY difficult to choose the winners I can tell you! Thank you so much for all of your beautiful entries, SO much inspiration and talent.

Well the theme this time is....LOVE! You can interpret that any way you like.

You do need an ADU image to play along, but that's no problem.
There are freebies available to make it a doddle to play along with us.

Here's my sample...
The gorgeous image is available HERE.
I coloured the image with Copics and paper pieced the balloons with some
paper from the Papermania 'Happy Birthday To You' A4 pad.
The glittery pink paper matt is from a 6x6 ' Papermania Boofle' pad.

I look forward to seeing all the entries for this 'LOVELY' challenge!
Please stop by my fellow DT Sisters and have a look at their gorgeous samples.
You'll be glad you did!

Have a super Day!!

More good news!!

I was delighted to be asked by Donna, (creator of Cards for Men),
to return to the design team and I had great pleasure in accepting!

CFM has kicked off  the first New Year challenge with the theme, 'Men at Work'.
This challenge is sponsored by Donna's friend, SU! demo Carole Bryson Wood of He[art]fully Yours.

Here Carole tells us a little about herself.....

'I am an Independent Stampin Up! Demonstrator in Lancashire & surrounding areas. I teach large and small scrapbooking and craft classes. I can arrange parties in your home for crafting and non-crafting friends to suit your requirements, and where everyone is guaranteed to have a great time !  I also run a crop in the Rochdale area. Please contact me for more details at carole.bryson@gmail.com xx'

Here's my take on the challenge ......

I've taken a SLIGHT liberty with the theme, as it's a retirement card.
BUT!! To retire, you have to have WORKED right!
AND!! Gardening in retirement is WORK isn't it!
Hee Hee. So I'm not naughty after all!

I coloured my image with Copics, which is from the DVD 'The Best Of JustINKlined'.
The DP is from a pad by MME, 'A Mother's Love'.
The little sentiment is from Papermania.

Please visit the Cards for Men blog to see the amazing samples done by the other DT members
(and play along of course). There is a smashing prize up for grabs...

2 Full Size Stampin Up! Ink Pads
(winner can choose from Subtles, Brights or Regals)

Thank you Carole!

Male cards are always a challenge aren't they, so why not have a go!
The challenge is open until the 20th Jan, so you have bags of time to play along.

Happy birthday Niece

Doncha just love Tatty Teddy!

I got the image from the Carte Blanche website.
Coloured with Copics and mounted onto DP. Can't bring to mind who's it is.
(Could be MME, but not sure).
The tag is from Craftwork Cards.
Gorgeous ribbon from my stash and job done.
Hope you like my Tatty Teddy card.
Have a smashing day!

An acrylic mini album, my way!!!

Hello everyone!
I was sent amongst other things, (which I will save for a future post),
a mini acrylic album from the Queen Peach Kathy, to play with.
Hmm!!! Talk about a challenge!!! Me! Acrylic! Nah!
I had no idea what to make of it and it intrigued me for weeks.
It finally got the better of me, so I researched how to go about making an album. I visited You tube and DT Sistah,  Emma's tutorial HERE, which helped me no end!!! Thank you Emma and You tube!!

I hope this album speaks for itself and needs no long list of items used.
All the stamps (bar the greeting on the 'ticket'), are from Peachy Keen.
(The tree/branch and clouds are Die-namics from MFT).
All colouring is done with either Copics or sponging.
I hope you like this album as much as I do.

Blog Hop is now closed.
Thank you to all of you for making this hop so special!

Today's the day!!!!

We are delighted to bring you a one-off blog hop in honour of William and Kate's wedding.

This is the task she set us......
Create a card, scrapbook page, or altered item with the theme...
Wedding
Love
Romance
Royal
Fairy tale
or
Prince/Princess
(Considering I live 'over here', I actually struggled to come up with something)!
I didn't want to go down the red/white/blue route, so had to put my thinking cap on.
Here's what I finally came up with....

William and Kate, a Word Book.

Front cover

Page 1

Page 2

Page 3

Page 4

Page 5

It's a bit rough round the edges, but I've let myself off as it's my first, (and probably my last)! LOL

Wedding cake is a stamped image I had in a drawer!
(Think it's a Magnolia image, but can't be sure).
 Groom Edwin
  'Wedding Carriage'
 Tilda as Bride
'I Do' Wedding Word book is from Funky Hand
Stamped images coloured with Copics
Other images from Heidi and Google
Flowers. pearls and metal corners are all from my stash.
