#66 Here come the boys ~ Anything Goes for Christmas & New Year

Good morning Crafters, 
 It's here, the 1st of December have you finished the Christmas shopping?  
No??? 
me neither, in fact I've barely started, I need to pull my socks up and get the presents bought & wrapped, then there's the food, the tree and cooking to do.
 Ooh don't you just love this time of year :o)

Anyway...how about a nice easy challenge? 
At Here come the boys today is an
 Anything Goes Christmas & New Year Challenge
and here's my contribution
I made this Gift Bag for my hubby, the chocolate is for decoration lol, hubby will get something different in there, he's not a big fan of chocolate (I know, how lucky am I)
For this Gift Bag I used Pion Papers, Forever Friends Bear painted with distress inks, the postcard stamp, the little tags are LOTV ones and these gorgeous goodies from The Ribbon Girl25mm Sable Satin Berisford Ribbon, White Pom Pom Trim, Mixed Dahlia 'Easter Spice' and Mixed Dahlia 'Stormy Skies'

Here come the Boys ~ Sentiments only Challenge

Good morning Crafters,
 hope you are well this morning, 
It's time for another challenge over at Here come the boys today and our theme is

I've made another Criss Cross card, bookmark & Tag


For this one I've used Maja Design papers called Irreplaceable Time, die cut holly leaves,
Roses are WOC, Tiny red Berries and green Satin Ribbon from The Ribbon Girl

Here come the Boys ~ Christmas in Brown & Cream


Good morning Crafters, 
How are you getting on with making those Christmas cards? not long to go now eh?
Are you way ahead or still got a long way to go like me...
Well help is on it's way because this weeks challenge at Here come the Boys is Christmas in Brown & Cream, so here's another card made :)
I've had this lovely stamp for a while now and thought it was high time I used it, I've seen it on so many beautiful cards in blog land and loved it.

Here Come The Boys ~ sketch challenge

Good morning Crafters

I'm not only happy to be back but...my eye is better yeah!
I thought if I took a little break from the PC it might help and it has :o)

Did you have an enjoyable World Card Making Day yesterday? 
I was crafting away happily most of the day, so pleased to get so much done.

This card is for the new sketch challenge, starting today over at Here come the boys
These are of course Pion papers
I've used James and the snowman from Lili of the Valley and a LOTV sentiment too
those gorgeous jingly bells and green pearls are from The Ribbon Girl and a mix of WOC flowers.

HERE COME THE BOYS ~ BABY BOY CARDS

Good morning and happy Sunday to you :)
Today is Here come the Boys Challenge again and didn't that last fortnight go quick, my goodness soon be Christmas!

This week we have the lovely theme of Baby Boy cards
all together aaahhhhh :)

I made this one using Maja papers, 
lovely lace, Pearls, String Pearls and Roses from The Ribbon Girl
I've used Frantage on the heart banner, the lovely bottle charm and resin frame were from Live & Love Crafts.

(I apologise for the short post, if you haven't  already seen on facebook, I've got a poorly eye and having to use antibiotics ointment four times a day so my vision is a little blurry, I was worried I wouldn't be able to craft but I've been die-cutting leaves and other useful die-cuts today, well I can't stay out of the craft room can I lol.)

Here Come The Boys ~ #60 Blue Christmas in September

Good morning dear Crafters
Yes, as the title says it's time for another challenge at Here come the Boys
and this fortnight's challenge theme is Blue Christmas in September.
This is one of my favourite LOTV stamps from last year, 
Delivering Presents by Lili of the Valley
and the grunge sentiment is an LOTV one too. 
I've used more of my Pion papers, these are from the new Winter time in Swedish Lapland collection.
The image is painted in distress reinkers, I've used the postal stamp and frantage around the image and frantage on the papers
Gingham ribbon, pale blue roses and lily from The Ribbon Girl & other Roses are Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here Come The Boys ~ Lazy Summer Days

Good mornnnnnnnnning, (shouting) sorry to wake you but
guess who's feeling on top of the world again, yeah me!!!!
I always hate feeling poorly, it's lovely to be back feeling good again, I've been cleaning the house like mad since feeling better :o)

First up today is Here come the Boys Challenge Lazy Summer Days 
ahhh! ...don't you just love them.
These cute little mice are a lovely stamp by Pink Poison, I bought them yonks ago and still like using them. 
I made this card for a lady who wanted this for her Dad
the tag inside says Happy Birthday Dad.

Good morning, 
It's another challenge over at Here come the Boys today

I've use this cute Snowman stamp
I've had this one for ages and I forgot I had him
the Christmas papers are Maja design
and the square sentiment is an LOTV Grunge stamp
with a little square Christmas brad to complete the look :)

Here come the Boys ~ Sketch Challenge

Good morning
Here we are Sunday again :o)
I love Sundays because everyone's home
well they will be by lunchtime, our youngest is at work until lunch today.
It's just comforting having everyone home relaxing...I know I'm a soppy Mum

Anyway...
Our dear Team Leader Wendy (Woo) at Here come the boys has come up with another fab sketch for us this week and here it is 
and here's my card

I hadn't used my Forever Friends stamps for a while and I do love them.
The papers are Maja design, I used my little x cut punch for the flowers and added Kort & Godt pearls, the leaf punch is Martha Stewart and those little buttons are from Dunelm Mill.

Hello and a very good morning to you :o)
I am absolutely walking on cloud nine here today, I've had a wonderful couple of days so far with my Grandsons, they went to see their other Grandparents last night but they are coming back later today and we are taking them out, they are great kids, so well behaved and full of cuddles, they are adorable!

Right where was I? ...Oh yes, blogging :o)

Lets go dotty ~ at ~ Here Come The Boys

Good morning World and HaPpY FaThErS DaY to all the Dads out there :o)
...and what a beautiful day it is too, the sun is shining and it's a gorgeous blue sky.

It's time for another challenge at Here Come the Boys today, I'm so pleased I'm on this Design Team or I would never get round to making my boys/mens cards.
This week we are going Dotty, as you can see I used these Maja Design papers and luckily for me there's a lovely fine dotty one. 
The buttons are a Memory Box die and I've used raffia sewn through them.
The lovely LOTV image is another from the LOTV Artist pad. 
Magnolia Starbright die tag with 'Happy Birthday' sentiment and the lovely boys cap charm & natural hemp twine are from The Ribbon Girl.  

So scoot on over to Here Come the Boys and take a good look at the DTs wonderful cards for your inspiration.

Here come the boys ~ Add ribbon

Good morning :o)
Can you believe we are into June already, the time is going by far too fast
and talking of time... it's time for another great challenge at Here Come The Boys!
This week we are using ribbons on our cards
I used this cute little topper from the LOTV artist pad, isn't he cute and I stamped the sentiment on the side.

The football boot charm & ribbons are from The Ribbon Girl.

Here come the boys ~ Must have buttons

Good morning Crafters
I can't believe it's Sunday again, that week went quick.
It's time for another challenge at Here come the boys and this time it's
Must have Buttons
I've used one of those lovely topper images from the LOTV art pads, I love them for making boys cards, they make life so much easier, these lovely garage papers are from Raspberry road and I've attached my buttons with twine on top of a piece of hessian.

Here Come The Boys ~ Paper piercing Challenge

Hello... I'm back again.
Yes it's time for another great challenge at HERE COME THE BOYS and we are paper piercing this week, as you can see I've paper pierced Edwin's shorts, T.shirt and shoes


I've used shabby white Frantage for the white sandy beach and added seashells
Also used this little bottle from The Ribbon Girl and I put some Tim Holtz film ribbon inside.
there's a lovely little passport charm too in the bottom left hand corner.

Here come the Boys ~ Picture Inspiration Challenge.

Hello again, I'm back with my card for Here come the Boys
we have a great picture inspiration for you this week

and here is my card for this challenge ...

I chose to take the colours green and blue and the aeroplane from the picture, you can choose whatever you like from the picture, for more inspiration take a look at what the clever  DT have made here 

I've used Edwin with aeroplane, Maja papers, the sentiment is a Magnolia one, Calico die cut star with a cap/hat attached with twine and pearl stars.

Here come the boys ~ No stamping!

Good morning and a happy Sunday to you.
Oh boy, oh boy do we have a challenge for you, over at Here come the boys today we have been making cards with no stamping, it may sound easy but when you love your stamps as much as we do it can be quite difficult...


here's what I made, a Christmas card with a postcard of Santa using all the gorgeous Pion papers, I was a bit worried about the lace & rolled roses because it has to be for a male but  my dear hubby said it looked fine (he's such a sweetheart) 

The DT have made some superb cards here so please take a look if you get chance and I hope you will join us in this challenge, good luck with your no stamping cards!

Here come the boys ~ Lots of layers challenge.

Good morning, 
It's all go here today :o)
1st up we have a brilliant challenge over at Here come the Boys I love this challenge it's 
Lots of Layers
yes I love using lots of layers don't you.
Here's a stamp I haven't used in ages, Forever Friends bears are so cute and for this one I did a bit of paper piercing on his present.
I've used Magnolia papers, kraft card, hessian, brads, cheesecloth and buttons with twine
 and of course the lovely sentiment (one of my favourites)
