Monday again and time for my LLC DT card.  This week I am kicking off a new theme of "winter", and it has certainly hit home this weekend with flourishes of snow and freezing temperatures.  Hopefully it won't last, I'm not keen on the snow, unless I'm at home snuggled in front of the fire :)

I have used papers from Pion Design's "Christmas in Norway" collection and also from the Pion Design Palette Blue cardstock VI.

The image is also by Pion Design Grandma's Attic "Christmas Time".

I have added 20mm white roses and a 19mm white rose to the centres of the poinsettia's and also on the little sledge.

I couldn't find my shabby white frantage containing little specks of gold so I had to use my chunky white frantage, which is dotted around.

String pearls and lace across the bottom.

I also added a little Melissa Frances paper doily behind the image.

Windy Wintery Day

Good morning,

It's Monday and time to share my Live and Love Crafts DT Card with a theme this week of Glitter, Sparkle and Bling.

I have used Pion Design's Glistening Season.  I am a bit of a blue, cream and brown fan so this collection is a firm favourite of mine.

I have used two Creative Expression poinsettia dies, classic and filigree to make the poinsettias and added stamen.  I have added some BLING to the centre of the largest poinsettia.  The star leaves are also a Creative Expression die cut.

The image was coloured using distress inks and edged with walnut stain and for some sparkle I added some star dust glitter glue.

The shapes in the centre of the card were made using Craftemotions Die Set, links at the bottom.

On the left I have used the star crescent die and again added walnut stain and star dust glitter glue.  Just underneath the crescent I have added star anaise and a little sparkle.

I also added the Creative Expression Snowflake Border from the die set.  I trimmed off the snowflakes at each end to fit the border to the 6x6 frame and then tucked the two snowflakes under layers of the papers.

I used tags from     and placed under the craftemotions die cut and added rusty bells and vax cord to finish.
