New Release at Whimsey Stamps

Morning Peeps,

Hope your enjoying your weekend, I have scheduled this post as I am attending the Stamperama Show today and I know a few of you out there will be out spending those pennies too!

Now onto today's card. I was contacted a few weeks ago by Denise from Whimsey Stamps and asked to be a guest designer for the new release stamps, well I didn't have to think for long...........lol, of course I said yes. I have chosen by Kenny K in Rubber, yes real Rubber!  She is called Vicki Lee Vicious and is available from Whimsey Stamps HERE.

Doesn't she rock!

I have coloured her with copics and I airbrushed the background, yes airbrushed, my first project.  Just loving it.

The papers are DCWV sent by my friend Vix along with the Black Magic Coredinations.  Fabulous cardstock.  I have distressed it to bring the blue through.  The looping brads I have had for a few years, bought them and never used them and  this seemed the ideal project to bring them out.

The skull is grunge card, painted with acrylic paint and edged with walnut stain distress ink.

I did add glossy accents to the guitar  so it's nice and shiny, which doesn't show up to well on this photo so I may try and take another when I get home today.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Woo Hoo Peeps,

It's the first challenge over at the new Bearly Mine Designs Challenge Blog and it's a skecth by Donna to kick us off. We have three sponsors, so that means 3 prizes, yep, hope you can come and play.

I've used one of the fab Kenny K images which are great for Men's cards and I thought I'd get ahead by making a Valentine Card. Sexy little madam isn't she, lol.

I have of course used the Bearly Mine Digi Papers, which can be found HERE.  I have used a combination of the new Loves Dream, if you scroll down to my previous post but one, you will see a beautiful Hanglar card using these new papers released yesterday.  I have also used valentine papers from both the Extreme Volume I and Volume III.  So you see you can mix and match.  If you check by my blog tomorrow you'll see I've used another new set, Cheery Days, fabulous papers.
