Christmas 63 and 64

Good morning everyone, I do hope you are not affected by the severe weather conditions at the moment, my thoughts are with those of you who are...big hugs

I have made many more Christmas card than my title hints at, but these number are just mine. I finally managed to get them posted yesterday! I have got a few spare "just in case" LOL.

Both base cards are my usual white linencard from The Range.
All red card used is pearlised and from PDA.
White pearlised card is also from PDA.
Gold linencard was given by a lovely crafting friend.
Embossing folder used on the first card is 8x8 Crafter's Companion leaf veins.
Embossing folder  on the second card is A6 size and it's so old I can't remember who it's by, maybe Cuttlebug!
Marianne diecut poinsettias on both cards.
All leaves diecut with Memory Box.
Tiny flowers punched with Woodware.
White pearls coloured with Copic marker
Sentiments are computer generated and cut with SU :o)

Christmas #2, 3, 4, and 5

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all warm and dry. It is very dark and wet here...hugs

As you can see in the title, I have 4 cards to share with you today, and I think it is safe to call them a CAS tree set LOL.

The base cards are white linencard from The Range, folded and cut to 7x5 and 6x6.
All of the bits are from my boxes again. I cut them way back in the mists of time at a friend's house and when I got home I consigned them into obscurity! Why did I do that? Who knows why crafters do anything LOL.
I think the diecuts are from Cuttlebug, well I know the funky frames definitely are,  and I am hoping that someone can tell me if the trees are still available. I have the number for the frames but would like to buy both if possible.
The two sentiments were stamped with SU :o)

3 for the Christmas box

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, hugs.

This afternoon I am joining my friends for a craft day, and I am soooooooooooooo looking forward to it, I haven't seen some of them since my birthday on March 2nd. I can't be with them for the whole day because of having to get Stephen's meals etc for him, but I can leave him a packed tea and flask of coffee, and the afternoon/evening is better than nothing :o)

Onto my cards for today. I made these a few weeks ago but never got around to blogging them!

Card used is white hammered from Papermill Direct, pearlised white which I bought at Donnington Hall a couple of years ago and coloured card is from my scrap box.
The first one is 6x6, the second is A6 and the third is 7x5.
Backing paper is an ancient HOTP one.
Embossing folders are Cuttlebug and Crafts too.
Dies are Marianne (large tree) and Memory Box (star and deer).
Bauble is (I think) Elzybells stamp which I cut out by hand.
Not my finest but not my worst either (they are in the bin) LOL.

Another Christmas card

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world. Sending hugs to those who want or need them.

I seem to be in Christmas mode at the moment so here's another CAS one.

Papermill Direct linen card folded and cut to 7x5.
Cuttlebug folder used on glittercard then punched with Martha Stewart before layering onto silver mirri card.
Sentiment stamped with Stamps and Smiles from an old set, then cut with Spellbinders and lifted with foam squares.
A very simple card, I hope you like it :o)

Simple Easter card

Good morning everyone, I do hope you are all warm, dry and well {{{{{hugs}}}}} for those who need or want them.

Thank you all for your enquiries about my cough. It hasn't quite gone yet but it's improving, and I actually slept about 4 hours solid last night :o)

My card for today is just a simple Easter card made with diecuts and embossing folders :o)

Base card is PMS hammered white folded and cut to 7x5.
Yellow layer is also PMS hammered card.
The embossed backing is made up from part of two different folders, one is Cuttlebug and the other is Crafts too.
Crosses are from Spellbinders.
Sentiment printed in MS Word and cut with SU punches.

Money wallet for my Grandson.....

.....who will be 29 next Sunday! Wherever did all of those years go to?

Good morning everyone, I do hope you all escaped the awful storms and are safe, warm and dry {{{{{hugs}}}}}

My offering for today is a very simple money wallet and here it is.

Base card is Kraft card a lookalike from PDA.
A4 sheet folded at 5" and 10", the little flap left forms the money pocket, then cut to 7x5.
I used Papermania vanilla textured card for the front panel, embossed at each end with Cuttlebug snow folder.
Letter cut on the Cricut from MME card. Couldn't really be much more simple :o)

Two for you today, own photographs

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well in your world...hugs
I took Stephen for his physio and neuro therapy yesterday and they were really impressed with his progress :o)
I have two cards for you this morning as I didn't manage to do my usual Tuesday upload this week so without more ado, here they are.

For this one I used PMS white hammered card folded and cut to my favourite 7x5.
I embossed white pearlised card with A4 Embossalicious folder then layered it onto red Papermania card, the same as that backing my lily photograph which is printed onto white PM textured card, then cut with Nesties. I coloured white pearls with copic pen.

For this one I used plain white card. I had previously cut a 5" template with my Cricut and I drew round this on the folded card then cut with Xcut Guillotine. I then embossed the front with Crafts Too bamboo folder and I think the little edge folder is from Cuttlebug.
Printed my dahlia photograph onto PM textured card then cut it and the red PM backing with Nesties :o)

I seem to be in white mode

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world or getting there...hugs
Did you get that frost? It was quite a good one here so hopefully the Autumn colours will become more vibrant now!

Stephen continues to do well, he has such determination.

I am obviously going through a white phase at the moment and here is another one LOL.

I've had this snow village embossing folder for a few years now and it continues to be one of my favourites. I think it is a Cuttlebug folder. The deer is a Memory Box die and the greeting is an ancient one from a Stamps and Smiles set. As usual the size is 7x5 :o)

8x8 CAS wedding card

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs.
Not much happening here at the moment but it's nice to have an un-busy day for a change LOL. I am at work as usual this evening but  going to have a lazy day first doing what I want, how I want and if I want!
My card today is for friends but they don't blog so it's safe to show :o)

The base card is a cream (looks ivory here) 8x8 one from who knows where, had them a long time.
I used an 8x8 Die'sire embossing folder.
Hearts cut with the Cricut and the cream one was then embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder then attached to the gold heart.
Mr and Mrs is a Papermania image stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Stampendous detail gold powder, then cut with nestie and attached with foam pads to give a bit of dimension.  The topper was also attached with foam pads and yes, it is deliberately wonky LOL. The personalisation will be inside for privacy :o)

Another from my GC

Good morning everyone on this lovely sunny but cool start to the day :o)
My card today is the second cut with my lovely Grand Calibur. I have cut some more but haven't made them up yet! I am just so pleased with the GC that I wish I had bought it many moons ago.

Base card is white linen, backing paper is from an old (about 6 years) Kay&Co pad,  Sizzix flower is vellum, cut last year some time but never used, same with the flutterbies from Martha Stewart punch, and the flower centre is the waste from a card made aeons ago which I 'cuttlebugged'.
So, it is a card made up from stuff that had been forgotten and now is found :o)

An apology and a few cards

Good morning everyone. I am so sorry I have not been visiting your blogs for a few days,  my mojo got lost while I had the frozen shoulder and I just couldn't get myself motivated at all! Anyway, I am back now and hopefully will catch up at least a little so here are a few cards I made with my recent swan photograph :o)

Although the first one looks cream it is actually white base card, the light was so bad all day yesterday as the fog never really lifted!
I opened the photograph in Photoshop Elements 5 to create a png image then opened the original image and the png in Paint Shop Pro to create the toppers.
Punches and dies used are SU, Martha Stewart and Spellbinder, swirl cut on the Cricut from the SCAL shape library, Cuttlebug embossing folder used on the mat for the third card and SU stamp for the greeting on the top card :o)

Poinsettia trio + a wonderful day out

Good morning Bloggers, I cannot believe it is a whole week since I posted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been so busy this week that card making was not an option :o( I was out with my daughter all day yesterday and the weather was very kind indeed with sunshine all the way. We set off early for Castleton and the farmer's market there and then we had a lovely walk round, with a stop to watch fudge being made and of course we had to buy some,  before heading for the Vale of Edale via Winnat's Pass where we stopped for a little while watching about 40 paragliders doing their thing. What a colourful spectacle that was too.  We stopped in the Vale of Edale for our picnic then headed off to village hop our very roundabout way home.
Anyhow, onto my card, which is the only one I have made in more than a week! I am beginning to feel deprived now :o)

I cut and folded white card to 6x6 then added a layer of paper I found in my scrap box. The 4 panels are blue pearlised card, "cuttlebugged" then matted onto white pearlised card. The poinsettias were cut on the Cricut and the centre of the large one was punched with McGill punch, the tiny stars are what is left after I punched a border with a Dovecraft punch. Flowers were sprayed with Crafters Companion glitterspray :o)

Not too sure about this one.....

.....it's a bit loud for me!
Good morning everyone. It's been raining overnight but we have some pale blue sky so far this morning, fingers crossed it stays that way.
Right, onto my card which is a bit OTT for me LOL

I designed the doily in SCAL and cut it with the Cricut, then cut the middle out with a Nestie and replaced it with a Nestie cut sentiment from Papermania. Poinsettias are Marianne Designs diecuts and Nellie Snellen punched. Background is mirri card embossed with Cuttlebug folder. I can't remember what I cut the holly leaves with, I found them languishing in a box of bits :o)

A couple more simple cards + a big thank you

Good morning everyone. Thank you so much for all of your kind comments about my arm. Your good wishes have worked, my arm is nearly back to normal and I had a reasonable
night's sleep.
Now onto my cards, again very simple embossed cards but with a poinsettia added.

Embossing folders used are the ever faithful Cuttlebug Winter Scene and Craft concepts Candles, and the poinsettia was cut with a Marianne Designables die :o)

85 down, 15 to go!

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well with everyone :o)
When I got up at 6.50 this morning the sun was streaming through the window, then id gradually got darker and darker and the rain arrived. Now the sun is trying it's best to show it's face again so it looks like a day of changeable weather! As I will be at work this afternoon and evening I'm not really bothered LOL.
Anyway, on to my cards. I have now completed 85 of my 100 so I have another 15 to do before the 30th!

Once again, Blogger has chosen to upload them in a different order than the way I loaded them! Sorry they are all the same boring card but I love the way they all look so different in other colours. They were all made using the same Cuttlebug folder. I have to do simple to get them all made in time for my target date!
By the way, did you spot the deliberate mistake? If you didn't I will tell you what it is in my next post :o)

Not bauble cards for a change.....

.....but if you look closely you may see a few here and there :o)
They are all my own photographs.

This one is made up from 3 photographs, a scene in the snow at Elvaston Castle, a Christmas tree and a santa bauble. I put them all together in PSP. Holly punch (sorry it has no name on it) and I used a Marvey for the berries.

More jiggery pokery in PSP. I took the Southern Belle photograph in Florida in 1989, same Christmas tree as previous card and the marble staircase I took in Stockport Register Office when my brother got married there some years ago. The base card and mat were cut with a Nestie.

Another photograph taken at Elvasto Castle and a robin taken at Attenborough Nature Reserve. Trees are just elongated triangle tha I hand cut and embossed with Cuttlebug folder then added a smidgin of glamour dust.
The same tree again with a swirl cut on the Cricut and a Nestie mat :o)

Two more Cricut cards

Good morning Bloggers, I hope you are all well or nearly there.
I have been playing with the Cricut and SCAL again. I have so many files to explore and yesterday I found this card to cut out. Not too sure if it works as a Christmas card but heyho, I'll try anything once as long as it legal and not harmful, that's my motto :o)

The baubles are also an SVG file. Sorry to say that I can't say whose they are because I forgot to name them when I saved them :o( The snowflakes are from a Mcgill punch and I "cuttlebugged" them and the nestie shape on the white card. The gold card is from stash and is embossed. That's it, so simple :o)

Cuttlebug and vellum be inspired #26

This is my entry for the Cuttlebug and Vellum card over at http://cuttlebugchallenge.blogspot.com/2009/04/cuttlebug-and-vellum-make-great-easter.html

The gerbera is my own photograph decoupaged and the BP was designed from another of my own photographs by Pat, my partner in crime over on http://www.jandppictures.co.uk/ I really enjoyed making this one :o)
Materials/equipment:
Own photographs
Own/Pat's backing paper
Vellum
Martha Stewart doily lace punch

Ribbon
Pink gems for a bit of bling
