SAY HELLO

We are currently 23 weeks along and feeling great. The baby is doing great and is getting bigger by the day and so am I... I'm in that stage that I look like I've put on some extra weight or I might be pregnant... So that creates alot of awkward conversations (but I enjoy not saying anything until the other person gets up the nerve to ask!).
The lastest stats are 1 lb. 3 oz. and about 10-11 inches long.

I had my targeted (4-D) ultrasound this morning... I was amazed the first time time I saw this kind of picture so I wanted to share them... This is our little GIRL!

She slept through the whole thing, even though the Tech tried really hard to wake her up.

Waving Hello to all her family and friends that she will meet in a few months.

Sleeping again!

We are way excited to be having a girl-It will be a big change! I'll have to figure out how to do the cutsie bows and dresses...Gage isn't sure that he will know how to treat a girl but I think he'll do just fine! Until Next time... Happy Thanksgiving!

My Latest Recipe

CINNAMON ROLLS

THE DOUGH

2 (.25oz) pkgs active dry yeast

2 1/2 cups warm water

1/2 pkg of yellow cake mix (9oz)

1 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

5 cups flour

THE INSIDE GOODNESS

1/2 cup butter (melted)

3/4 cup white sugar

2 tsp ground cinnamon

THE FROSTING

(or BUY cream cheese frosting)

3 cup confectioner's sugar

1/2 cup butter (softened)

1 1/2 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 Tbsp milk

DIRECTIONS: In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water. Let it stand until creamy (about 10 minutes). Then combine the yeast mixture with the cake mix, salt, and vanilla; stir well. Stir in the flour, beat well. Cover the bowl and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Deflate dough and turn it out on a well floured surface. Roll out into a rectangle and spread with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar (combine in bowl before hand to make it easy). Roll up dough (so you have a long tube) and cut into 3/4 inch thick rolls. Place on greased baking pans. Cover and let rise until doubled (about 45 min). Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake rolls for 15-20 minutes. While rolls are cooling make frosting. Stir all ingredients together in a bowl. After the rolls have cooled a bit, spread with frosting and enjoy!
