today is Friday & is also the last day of Poppytalk's winter colours week ... I also regret it when it's over, but also look forward the next edition so much !! Thank you so much Jan & Earl for putting this up four times a year, that's something that many people on Flickr & in the blogosphere look forward each season !
so today's colors were golden & silver. I thought I wouldn't find many so I took a couple of shots yesterday, but I'll show them to you at the end of the post. First I tried to dig as many photos as possible that seemed to be appropriate. Golden & silver can be found in nature, it's just that it's not always very shiny. Let's start with these ones, shall we ?some golds can come from up above ...others can be found inside the home ...you can also try to encapsulate the gold of the nature in some way or another ...and you can of course find lots of golds in the big capitals like Paris or London ....and here are finally the photos I took yesterday, BEFORE trying to find any in my Flickr stream. First photo was taken in my own street, on a big door.and the others shows my most favorite tools ... which happen to be shiny & silver ;-)well, I guess I found much much more silver and gold than I originally thought ! I won't show you the coasters I told you yesterday, this post is already chock full of photos & we don't need an extra visual load, do we ?
so please let me wish you a light hearted weekend, a cozy & warm inside weekend, a happy little winter weekend. January is almost over, can you believe this ?!
lots of love & positive thoughts your way
xoxo

I can't believe you thought it would be difficult to find silver and gold. Really lovely and special. And that first photo is simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend too. Lovely crat silvers!AriadnefromGreece!
ReplyDeleteI just looked through all of your color posts. I wish I had joined in! I'll look to do it next time. I particularly like your blue day, and the white is nice as well (although you would think I would be sick of white considering how buried we are in snow here in western Massachusetts). Have fun with Heather's book, and happy weekend!
ReplyDeletebeautiful pics. Particularly liked seeing Big Ben :O) xx
