{ Ten }

Today Chris & I are celebrating ten years of marriage.
Ten years of love, mutual support, help, encouragement, communication, exchanges, compromises, very few quarels.
My mom is here today, so that just the two of us will be able to escape a bit, in Montpellier itself, mostly in the botanical garden. Today the weather is sunny & reasonably warm, it's very pleasant to have open windows & not closed windows until 08.30pm !
Thank you so much for your kind anniversary wishes, they were appreciated, my friends !

So, just to let you know what we've been up to the last few days ...
On Thursday, we went to the beach. (the last time before the boys go back to school) That day, the sea temperature was higher than the air temperature, which was a total delight ! I picked some shells & stones & made a little arrangment that you can see on Flickr.That day, we also finished working on my "secret" little project, which was ... a handmade inspiration board ! I didn't want to drill big holes in the wall (we rent), so no heavy magnetic boards like the ones we used to have in Chessy. I didn't want something with pins, I don't want my boys to hurt themselves. So I thought & thought some more, and came with the idea of a kind of frame made of bamboo sticks, tied with hemp twine/yarn, and with a grid made of cotton tape. With litte idea notes made of repurposed security envelopes. Ta da ! Almost empty ...And already full ! :)A second one will be in the making soon ... :P

On Friday and Saturday, we went to my inlaws'.
Relaxation was done, a bit of workout too (jogging), flowers & bees observed, watercolors painted, good food done & eaten. Life is good.OK, now you all have a relaxing rest of the weekend, and a fantastic start of the new week.
