before and after: mens sweater to halter skirt set

I always try to make and wear more of my own wardrobe, and I think I've done pretty well this year!
Living in Chicago we really relish our Summers :)

I found this mens sweater and made it into a halter top and skirt.

trend: wild

So here's Dwight from 'The Office' US.
In ONE visit to the thrift store a few weeks ago, I found a bunch of animal (especially wolf) tshirts. I wonder if they all belonged to the same person? It's funny how trends work.
Today, I'm flipping through a special Fall/Winter 2011 Harper's Bazaar issue and see more 'wild' animals.
And then you'll see all the dresses I made from this stack. (These have all been purchased.)
Happy hunting [t-shirts] !

so many shirts, so many stories

It's such a rush to have time to look through each shirt to find the ones that will become parts of new dresses.
