El pasado sábado hemos tenido un día especial por aquí, y es que aprovechando que era la feria de Tendencias Creativas en el BEC (Bilbao Exhibition Center), hemos quedado 4 blogueras de la zona: Maider, Oiane, Rosa y yo misma. Seguro que las conocéis a todas, sino os animo a pasar por sus blogs:

La feria no era de costura como tal, la verdad es que no sabíamos muy bien qué habría dentro... y resultó que había muchas cosas, de nuestro mundillo había muchos expositores de telas de patchwork, materiales de costura, mercería, complementos para hacer bolsos, poner tachuelas,... y además otros puestos de manualidades y cosas para niños. Maider, Oiane y yo nos apuntamos a un taller, para hacernos un bolso...

Este es el bolso, más parece un neceser que un bolso, sobre todo por la tela elegida, que de bolso... poco!

Esta la máquina con la que cosimos, no conocía la marca JUKI, pero la máquina iba suave suave, no hacía casi ruido (o eso parecía porque con el ruido ambiental de la feria tampoco es lo mismo que estar en casa!), lo mejor de ella, es que tenía un botón que te cortaba los hilos al ras cuando acababas de coser, más guay!
This is the sewing machine, I didn't know the brand JUKI, but the machine was smooth soft, without noise (or so it seemed because the ambient noise of the fair is not the same as being at home!), The best of it, is that you had a button that cut the threads when finish sewing, so cool!

Here Maider, already working on her purse. Ah! That pincushion in front of her was fine too, because it was magnetized and the pins stayed glued.
And Oaine so concentrated! We were told to take the sewing machine to the "turtle" rhythm rather than pace "hare", but Oiane were approaching the hare, lol ... The truth is that all of us skip some rules that Maite gave us (the instructor ... better not talk ...)
Ah! You are taking us a photo? Then we posed, hahahaha ... The bag was almost done, you will see that in pursue you can see the right side of the fabric and Maider's is on the backside ... Aja! My big mistake! And I had it sewn! Noooo!! To unpick and they didn't have the seam ripper ... good patience!
Pues estos fueron nuestros resultados... No están acabados, falta el lazo y el imán que lo cierra, pero es que el taller no estaba demasiado bien organizado en tiempos. Nos tocará acabarlo en casa, aunque estamos pensando en otra cosa... en lugar de acabarlo, igual es mejor rehacerlo con otra tela más apta para bolsos...
These were our results ... They are not finished, missing the loop and the magnet that closes, but the workshop was not very well organized in time. We will play to finish at home, but we are thinking of something else ... rather than finish it it is better to redo with another more suitable fabric for bags ...

Tuvimos un gran fallo, con la prisas no nos hicimos una foto las 4! Así que ya tenemos excusa para volver a quedar otro día!
We had a big failure, with the rush we didn't take a photo with the 4 of us! So we have excuse to stay another day!
Yo no me vine con la manos vacías, ay ay ay... todas las telas eran tan bonitas! Aunque no precisamente baratas, la verdad! Cogí de tamaño 50x55cm varias telas, para aplicaciones , bajos de pantalones, puff... Y un par de rollos de bies para no sé qué...
I didn't come with empty hands, ay ay ay ... all fabrics were so beautiful! While not exactly cheap, the truth! I took several fabrics 50X55cm size for applications, low pants, puff ... And a couple of rolls of bias to not know what ...
Resumen de la jornada: muy buen día, las 3 son estupendas y muy simpáticas y todas hemos aprendido esto de coser sobre la marcha, así que está genial para poner en común técnicas, tiendas, materiales que usamos,... esas cosillas que comentamos en los blogs, pero en directo.
Summary of the day: very good day, 3 of them are great and very nice and all of us have learned to sew on the fly, so it's great for sharing techniques, stores, materials we use, ... the little things we discussed on blogs, but live.
